학사과정 공학프로그램의 설계교육모델 (A Design Education Model in Undergraduate Engineering Program)

  • 학사과정 공학프로그램에서는 기초과학, 공학이론(engineering science), 공학설계(engineering design), 공학관련 인문학 및 사회과학 등 4개 분야를 다루어야 하는데 우리나라의 경우는 후자의 2개 분야를 제대로 교육하지 못하고 있다. 그 큰 이유는 이 분야 교과목 개발이 어렵고 그 교과목을 교육하기도 힘들기 때문이다. 그러나 우리의 교육여건이 점차 개선되고 있고 산업체에서도 강도높게 요구하고 있기 때문에 이들 2개 분야의 교육을 시급히 강화할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 이들 2개 분야를 종합적으로 교육시킬 수 있는 하나의 설계교육 모델을 제안하였다. 설계교육을 세단계로 구성하였는데 제1단계는 공학의 본질 및 설계과정을 이해시키고, 창의력향상에 주안점을 둔 설계, 제2단계는 전공이론을 이용한 정밀하고 경제적인 해를 찾는 설계방법, 제3단계는 실사회 문제를 해결할 수 있는 설계능력을 배양하는 것으로 구성하였다. 그리고 각 전공교과목에서도 여러 지식을 종합하는 설계과제를 다루도록 하였다.

  • 본 연구는 대학의 진로교육 정책과 현황을 살펴보고, 대학생의 진로인식 및 진로교육프로그램 분석을 통해 진로교육 개선을 위한 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. G대학 재학생 1,322명을 대상으로 실시한 진로취업인식조사에서 진로교육관련 결과를 활용하여 데이터를 수집하였으며, 학년 및 계열에 따라 학생의 진로인식은 교차분석을, 진로교육프로그램 선호도는 기술통계분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 자기이해를 통한 진로탐색프로그램을 강화하고, 진로결정 시기를 앞당겨야 하며, 개인의 진로준비 정도에 맞는 진로교육프로그램 개발의 필요성을 제안하였다.

  • This research would investigate deeply the operation of an omni-directional mobile robot that is able to move with high acceleration. For the high acceleration performance, the vehicle utilizes the structure of Active Split Offset Casters (ASOCs). This paper is mainly focused on inverse kinematics of the structure, hardware design to secure durability and preserve the wheels' contact to the ground during high acceleration, and localization for the real time position control.

간호대학생의 전공 만족도가 전공몰입에 미치는 영향과 전공선택 동기의 매개역할 (The Influence of Major Satisfaction of Nursing Students on Major Commitment and the Mediating Role of Motivation for Major Selection)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 전공 만족도, 전공선택 동기, 전공몰입을 파악하고, 전공몰입의 영향요인 그리고 전공선택 동기의 매개역할을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사 연구이다. 자료 수집은 대구·경북지역에 소재한 간호대학에 재학 중인 228명이었으며, 자료 수집은 2020년 11월 7일부터 11월 16일까지였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 22.0 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 전공 만족도, 전공선택 동기, 전공몰입은 높은 것으로 나타났다. 전공몰입 영향요인으로는 전공만족도와 전공선택 동기가 예측되었다. 전공 만족도와 전공몰입의 간에 전공선택 동기는 부분매개역할을 하였고, 구체적인 분석에서는 개인적 동기가 부분매개역할을 하였다. 이러한 결과는 간호대학생의 전공몰입도를 향상시키는 기초정보를 제공하게 되며, 간호학 선택과정의 중요성을 시사하였다.

팀기반학습(Team-Based Learning)이 간호학생의 문제해결능력과 비판적사고 및 자기주도학습에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Team-Based Learning on Problem Solving Ability, Critical Thinking Disposition and Self-Directed Learning in Undergraduate Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of team-based learning (TBL) program on problem solving ability, critical thinking disposition and self-directed learning in junior nursing students caring for patients with respiratory diseases. Methods: One-group pretest-posttest design was used. TBL program was carried out for 2 hours a week for 6 weeks. Data were collected by questionnaires from 167 nursing students from March 6 to June 5, 2013. Data were analyzed by paired t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: At the completion of TBL program, significant improvement was found in problem solving ability (t=-6.04, p<.001), critical thinking disposition (t=5.02, p<.001) and self-directed learning (t=5.96, p<.001). There was a significant positive correlation among problem solving ability, critical thinking disposition and self-directed learning. Conclusion: In conclusion, TBL is a useful teaching and learning method on nursing students. We suggest that it is needed to measure the educational effects of TBL against other teaching methods in the future studies.

  • Biosafety has become quite sensitive issues according to dramatic development of biotechnology and LMO(Living Modifying Organism) is one of the key issue in biosafety. This study is an exploratory research for investigating the activation strategy of biosafety training management in LMO research field. Based on the survey data, main results are derived through various statistical analysis methodology such as descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, analysis of variance and regression analysis. According to the analysis results, some activation strategies are required to reach the target such as extension of specialized biosafety training program, enhancement of safety consciousness from the undergraduate courses, introduction of appropriate safety regulations, unification of safety management and establishment of safety management system.

국내 이공계 대학생의 의사소통 교육 인식조사 (A Study of Communication Education of Engineering Undergraduates)

  • 이 연구에서는 이공계 대학생 355명을 설문 조사하여 의사소통 교육에 대한 실증적인 인식을 파악하였으며 이 연구에서 조사한 내용 중 중요한 사항은 다음과 같다. 이공계 학생들은 의사소통 영역에서 가장 취약한 부분은 듣기와 말하기 부분인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 오늘날 소통의 시대에서 듣기와 말하기 역량이 업무 성과와 밀접하게 연결되어 있는 현상과 관련되어 있는 것으로 앞으로 읽기와 쓰기 못지 않게 듣기와 말하기 역량을 높여야 한다는 것을 의미한다고 해석할 수 있다. 이 연구는 이공계 대학생들의 의사소통 교육에 대한 인식을 실증적으로 조사하여 앞으로 의사소통 교육프로그램을 개발하는 데에 기초를 제공하는 데에 의미가 있다고 할 것이다.

The Urgency of Business Agility During COVID-19 Pandemic: Distribution of Small and Medium Business Products and Services

  • Purpose: Business agility is an important key to survival for SMEs in Indonesia, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Indonesian local product distribution and service distribution are mostly served by SMEs. Agile businesses will be able to assist them in the proper distribution of products and services. This research examines how the direct and indirect influence of IT capabilities on business agility through organizational learning and business intelligence for small and medium enterprises in the distribution of Indonesian products and services. Research design, data and methodology: This research uses SEM method with SmartPLS tool. The sample of this research was conducted on small and medium enterprises in the distribution of Indonesian products and services. The sample obtained in this study was 202 SME owners or managers (strategic level). Results: Business intelligence plays a key role in improving business agility. The results of IT capability can directly and indirectly affect business agility through organizational learning. Conclusions: Business intelligence has the biggest role in increasing business agility in SMEs in Indonesia. IT capability has an indirect effect on business agility through organizational learning. The findings of this study prove that IT capabilities do not indirectly affect business agility through business intelligence.

Increasing Innovation Performance in SMEs Trade: Organizational Forgetting, Knowledge Management, and Business Agility as Predictors

  • Purpose: Trade in small and medium businesses must improve innovation performance before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The requirement for rapid innovation is being able to compete and survive post-pandemic. This research attempts to investigate the influence of organizational forgetting, knowledge management, and business agility in distributing innovation performance improvementsto SMEs in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia. Research design, data and methodology: In this research, a structural equation modeling approach with SmartPLS was applied. This research used 221 Tasikmalaya SMEs as samples. The findings of this study show that SMEs are still underrepresented in technological advancement. Results: Organizational forgetfulness does not have a significant impact on innovation performance, nor does it have an indirect impact through knowledge management. Business agility, on the other hand, has a significant indirect effect on innovation performance. Knowledge management does not have a significant and direct impact on innovation performance, but business agility has a significant impact. Conclusions: Efforts to enhance SMEs' trade must be willing to challenge the status quo or abandon knowledge that is no longer relevant to current developments to improve business agility and innovation. Technology-oriented SMEs can quickly become agile by implementing organizational forgetting. SME owners must be willing to adapt to technological advances to adopt organizational forgetfulness.

국내대학 패션분야 교육의 특성화를 위한 교육과정 개발 - 패션비즈니스 교육을 중심으로 - (Curriculum Development for fashion business education in Korean Universities)

  • In order to develop a new fashion business curriculum, this study attempts to evaluate fashion business curriculum in both domestic and foreign schools and to analyze their existing training programs. The results of this study shows that the analysis of domestic fashion business curriculum shows that 'in the field' knowledge is in need for the new fashion education program where students can be more exposed to the industry environments especially in the area of markets, sales, distribution and management. Also, the analysis of fashion marketing curriculum of F.I.T and PARSONS school of design demonstrates their emphasis on practical as well as academic programs in marketing, distribution and merchandising. In addition, the research on sales person training program reflects that future sales persons will need stronger knowledge in customer analysis, product display and shop management. Based on these findings, this investigation proposes a revised second year fashion business undergraduate program. The academic program in this updated module will place heavier emphasis on such fields as marketing, distribution, product planning and sales management. Also recommended is that the second year students will be exposed to real-world experience by participating in various internships and workshops offered by major companies in the fashion field.
