The objective of this paper is to identify factors influencing intention to use ubiquitous banking service focusing on potential users using a regression model. Through this, providers of ubiquitous banking services can get an idea of future development, including marketing strategy through the results of this analysis. This paper proposes that perceived usefulness is the most important factor influencing the uptake of ubiquitous service. Also in addition, ANOVA test shows that higher education level of the user can lead to the higher intention to use an ubiquitous banking service. In this study, we set up a model by using the most basic factor among influential factors presented in previous studies as an independent variable. However, other research variables which affect acceptance of ubiquitous service should be considered by thinking more diversely.

Recently, concerns regarding ubiquitous health have been on the increase according to development of ubiquitous technology and growth of health industry. This study suggested a necessity for market segmentation for the creation of new markets of ubiquitous health business under this background. This paper also analyzed possibile health service industry with characteristics of customers by making an analysis of market segmentation. It was grouped into 4 parts by factor analysis and cluster analysis with raw data collected, the results showed that they would be main potential ubiquitous health service industry. However, some are not significant in statistics, which means that since ubiquitous health industry has not yet been experienced, it probably shows uncertainty about its favour. Finally, the study suggested that a future study should build up more detailed market segmentation data with continuous supplementation.

Ubiquitous information technology creates new space connected to electronic and physical space and makes new life pattern come true. Although it is expected that ubiquitous technology will lead significant changes on various life fields, relevant studies on its market needs, customer needs in social and cultural context and its necessity at organizational level have been passively carried out. What is worse, IT technology application scheme in railway field has not fully established since railway field's technology development is mainly focused on hardware compared with road and air traffic. In order to apply ubiquitous technology to railway field, therefore, it is required to identify ubiquitous technology functions which applicable to railway field and to establish ubiquitous rail system implementation scheme for end users. In this paper, we suggested implementation scheme for u-Rail which sorts railway industry by its components in order to implement service centered ubiquitous technology to each railway industry field.

The growth in the use of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services as an enabler to conduct business more effectively has been phenomenal. Technology acceptance model (TAM) has been applied in different contexts to examine a wide range of information technologies (IT). As more and more companies are finding ways to utilize ubiquitous computing based on mobile services, an important issue is to understand what factors will impact the decisions of consumers in adopting the services. Based on TAM with three additional groups of external factors, i.e., service-related factors (ubiquitous access, context awareness) and technology-related factors (perceived security risk, network connectivity) that are theoretically justified as having influence on both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use which are additionally considered, a research model for the investigated technology acceptance was developed and empirically examined, using responses from more than intended users of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services. The specific purposes of this study are as follows. Firstly, this study is to identify service beliefs considering unique characteristics for ubiquitous services such as perceived ubiquitous access and perceived context awareness. Secondly, this study is to investigate network characteristics beliefs such as perceived security and perceived connectivity. Thirdly, this paper investigates the relationship among variables such as ubiquitous characteristics, network characteristics, behavioral beliefs, and intention to use ubiquitous web services. This study uses a structural equation model to test the research model. The major results of this study are as follows. Firstly, ubiquitous access has a influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Context awareness has an influence on perceived usefulness. Secondly, User familiarity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and intention to use. User innovativeness has an influence on perceived ease of use. Thirdly, perceived security risk has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Network connectivity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Fourth, there exist differential effects among factors in structural model among information, transaction, and entertainment services.

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 콘텐츠 적응화를 위한 CC/PP 기반의 유비쿼터스 프로파일 및 운영 아키텍쳐를 설계한다. 유비쿼터스 프로파일의 컴포넌트와 속성들은 유비쿼터스 환경에서 콘텐츠 적응화 서비스 시나리오를 기반으로 정의하였다. 유비쿼터스 프로파일 설계 시 유비쿼터스 환경에서 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서 RDF, RDF Schema, CC/PP Structure, 표준 어휘 등의 기법들을 적용하였다. 또한, 유비쿼터스 프로파일의 효율적인 운영을 위해 게이트웨이 중심의 운영 방법, 저장소를 이용한 메타데이터 구성 방법, 동적 구성 방법 등의 아이디어들을 기반으로 운영 아키텍쳐를 제안하고 설계하였다. 제안한 운영 아키텍쳐에 대한 성능 평가 결과 기존의 프로파일 운영 방법 보다 더 효율적이었다. 제안된 유비쿼터스 프로파일 및 운영 아키텍쳐는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 사용자에게 적응화된 콘텐츠를 서비스를 위한 연구의 기반을 마련해 주었다.

Ubiquitous computing which is called, the innovation of the 21st Century is a core technology of next generation. RFID technology is noticed, and physical distribution, home network, telematics, like industry automatization are developed by using various technique. Particulary, They use RFID technology for fashion and beauty industry, So, supplying network management, physical distribution management and warehouse management are investigated for the automatization. What we have investigated so far, a traceability system is made of ubiquitous sensor network for monitoring fashion and beauty industry environment. The proposed system using EPC network can provide information of industrial products traceability quickly and efficiently. Moreover, this system with RFID Technology gives intelligence of distribution and record. In this paper, We recommend the vision of Ubiquitous convergence of fashion and beauty industry.

The emergence of ubiquitous autonomic computing and network environment will change the service architecture information system which will be a new application area in SCM/logistics systems. In this study we surveyed the technical trend map of ubiquitous and its application in SCM/logistics support system design. We described the evolutional model of ubiquitous computing community for SCM/logistics system. It is consisted of three view points; self-growing, autonomic, and context-aware, which will allow the decision makers to be benefited from web and mobile technology and are useful for proactive SCM/logistics support system. Finally, we suggested a cooperative research planning for the development ubiquitous system between the government research center, university, and industry research activities.

A manufacturing execution system in the process according to automation system of installation management has been growing interest about effective system design and effective system manage. In this paper, we propose an ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System based on RFID/USN for checkup monitoring and history management of installation in manufacturing execution systems. For this, we design and implement installation history and statistics management system based on RFID grafting RFID for efficient installation equipment history and statistics management of ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System, and was implemented checkup monitoring system based on USN using temperature sensor, humidity sensor, hydraulic pressure sensor for failure prevention of ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System. And proposed ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System is implemented based on JSP for access through Web in real time.

유비쿼터스는 기존의 도큐멘테이션과 사이버공간 그리고 첨단 디지털 기술이 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 네트워크환경에서 무선 단말기와 결합한 형태를 말한다. 이러한 유비쿼터스 환경은 도서관과 박물관의 기능과 역할을 더욱 확장시켜, 정보의 생산과 정보제공방식에 상당한 변화를 가져올 것으로 예측된다. 이 연구는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 네트워크 기술을 활용하여 변화되는 도서관과 박물관의 현상을 다각토로 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하며, 특히 정보이용자에 대한 서비스 및 관리경영 측면에서 발생하는 변화를 예측하고자 하였다.

With the advancement of the industry such as information technology, residential facilities has been consistently achieved high standard. Ubiquitous system has been introduced in apartments nowadays, and it will be general facilities in the near future. However elderly people is not generally accustomed to ubiquitous or internet environment, so degree of ubiquitous system usage is able to be less than young people. This study aims to grasp the relative importance of ubiquitous environment, and offer materials to realize residential environment's improvement of silver towns under investigation through a questionnaire survey. Skin recognition system was most preferred among various functions. Energy management system, protection system of solitude elderly person and security system by CCTV was also preferred at a high rate. Housework part such as cooking aid, height control of sink and basin etc., was not less important system relatively.
