The mobile computing environment has already matured and mobile services are activated throughout many industries. In the following years, these changes are expected to evolve into a ubiquitous computing environment. In the meantime, whether newly developed information technologies will thrive or diminished depends on user's intention to adopt them. Hence, the necessity of user-centered research considering ubiquitous computing in mobile computing environment is obvious. This study, thus, investigated ubiquitous factors in various literature related to ubiquitous computing and technology acceptance and it proposes a research model of the ubiquitous factors affecting user's intention to use mobile services, in terms of meaning(connectivity, mobility), service(contextual offer), compatibility(compatibility), and infrastructure(privacy, truth). The proposed model is expected to help both researchers and practitioners extend their understanding about the ubiquitous factors in mobile computing environment

As ubiquitous environment rapidly emerges due to the development of network and information communication technology, ubiquitous computing is being noticed as a technology that will take the lead in information technology industry of the future. To the end, the data recognized from each sensors, collected and processed need be transferred to applied service so that they may be used as data for providing sum to users. However, in reality as the definitions of metadata and platform for each sensor are not clear, approach from applied service for data use is difficult and there are limitations in transferring sensor measurement data of the applied service because of the difference of platform and protocol. In this paper, we designed sensor service technology language that expresses sensor and measurement data and describes the service though sensor data service. Also the researcher implemented a sensor data processing system that transfers sensor data to the applied service by using web service. The thesis will apply a reference model for standardization to guarantee mutual compatibility in exchanging sensor data through the system.

While an information system and administration for an application that a user contacts with raise a head by an important problem, a system approach and methodology for administration are mentioned. Authentication technology of various configuration is used, but non-efficiency by complicated authentication administration and operation inappropriate use are for a successful expansion of various and new business of wire/wireless environment. In addition, under the mobile computer environment with different authentic method each other, it is difficult at all to expect flexible and continuous service. Under the ubiquitous computing environment, It is very important thing plan to research and develop compatibility and the side of variance authentication plan that preservation characteristics are helped. Hereby, This paper look around an requirement items and authority mechanism for the administration and the operation mechanism of the distributed authentication considering expansion possibility of the ubiquitous computing environment not only fixed computing environment but also mobile computing. In future, we expect it by can guide positive participation about distributed authentication technique of the genuine ubiquitous environment.

The Korea built successfully e-Korea based on the best of internet infrastructure which was constructed in the world. Continually, Korea is constructing u-City for twenty-first century to enhance the quality of life and to grow up IT industrial. But there is no standard model for u-City because three main builders, central government, local autonomous entities, and communication carriers have respectively their objects, targets and domains. If u-City would be constructed by the common infrastructure for ubiquitous communication, it will be possible to provide any ubiquitous services and compatibility. And the communication infrastructure has to be reflected on the first stage of city planning to reduce high cost for u-City construction. This paper mentions firstly the ranges of communication infrastructure and shows how to construct it each range.

In this paper, we describe a development of a Bluetooth Access Point for the WAN connection of home network devices. Especially, users can access the PSTN at home instead of expensive digital cellular network through the AP, using the 'one-phone', which is the Bluetooth enabled cellular phone. The simultaneous benchmark test about telephone service and LAN access service shows the perfect compatibility and reasonable performance of the access point. The one-phone service can become a convergence of wired and wireless communication through the AP.

As adopting ubiquitous technology into civil engineering, new city model is suggested called U-City. This paper proposes the framework of U-City management center to support effective services operation. The aims of the framework are to provide the development and operation environment for U-City services. Basically, these objectives are achieved by adopting the semantic web service technology to the framework. In this paper, OWL-S is mainly conducted to represent the description of U-City services. In addition, this paper insists that fine grained unit services are required to guarantee reusability, compatibility, and scalability of the services on U-City management center. The documentations conducted by OWL-S are provided as an example of service descriptions. At the last section, this paper also presents the architecture of U-City management center which enables automatic service discovery, selection, composition and interoperation.

Today, Hospital Information System that integrates ubiquitous technologies are introduced in limited basis due to problems like standardization and limits on medical use, where responsibilities lie, legal safeguard on transmission, invasion of privacy etc. Particularly, problems like absence of tag design suitable for medical environment, compatibility issue with previous medical information system. In order to solve such problems, we have designed medical tags for the first time that are consistent with future ubiquitous environment by deciding on medically suitable field with 96bit tag offered by EFC as its base. Second, improving on previous multi-tag recognizing crash prevention algorithm, we have designed a priority anti-collision algorithm that reflects priorities on the needs in medical environment.

Recently, Most of the companies and government offices are under consideration about the adoption of cloud office service to actualize the smart work policies. Comparing with traditional office software, a cloud office service have the advantage of the method of payment and coming over the physical limitations. Many cloud office service users tend to adopt an official evaluated the service without doubt. However after deciding to adopt cloud office service, many users are faced with a variety of problems and difficulties practically. In this study, researchers carried out interview about those problems and difficulties after adopting a cloud office service. Consequently, there are several problems and difficulties such as compatibility, document security, document lost and maladjusted to the new graphic user interface between traditional office software and a cloud office service. A cloud office service have still several advantages not only a competitive price but also ubiquitous attributes. Thus, researchers need to study about what kinds of reason variables can solve those problems and difficulties. In existing research, DeLone & McLean have suggested information system success model. They use three independent variables which are system quality, information quality, service quality. Parameters are user satisfaction, intention to use and use. Lastly, dependent variables are net benefits. However in this study, we need to change the scope of measurement. In other words, we have to replace parameters with dependent variables. Simply, user satisfaction, intention to use and use is going to be dependent variables. There are several reasons why we need changing variables. First, we aim at giving a some suggestions to a cloud service providers which independent variables do not work to satisfy for the users. Second, we need to find out how to maximize cloud office service user's satisfaction and intention to use. Third, we should firstly know that relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. Finally, those research results give for the cloud office service provider to solve the cloud office service adopting problems and difficulties.

Recently, the research trend and developmental tendency of ubiquitous computing technology are advancing with direction which seamlessly provides the optimum service to users through context-aware, analogy and networking with various sensor nodes. There is overwhelming needs to develop the WSN middleware platforms that have the functions dealing with data, monitoring, merged communication environments, and mutual compatibility with a variety of sensor networks. The purpose of study in WSN middleware platforms is to promptly provide the response for diverse queries from application services. Therefore, the actuator is enable to do action according to evets in for large scale glasshouse.

With the recent development of the ubiquitous computing technology, there are increasing interest and research in technologies such as sensors and RFID related to information recognition and location positioning in various ubiquitous fields. Especially, a standard specification was required for compatibility and interoperability in various RTLS(Real-Time Locating Systems) according to the development of RTLS to provide location and status information of moving objects using the RFID Tag. For these reasons, the ISO/IEC published the RTLS standard specification for compatibility and interoperability in RTLS. Therefore, in this paper, we designed and im plemented RTLS based on the spatial DSMS(Data Stream Management Stream) for efficiently managing and searching the incoming data stream of moving objects. The spatial DSMS is an extended system of STREAM(STanford stREam datA Manager) developed by Standford University to make various spatial operations possible. RTLS based on the spatial DSMS uses the SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) message between client and server for interoperability and translates client's SOAP message into CQL(Continuous Query Language) of the spatial DSMS. Finally, we proved the efficiency of RTLS based on the spatial DSMS by applying it for the staff location management service.
