This short paper is about the background, progress, achievement as well as the direction of Urban Regeneration (UR) Policy since 2013 in Korea. The UR in Korea has been recognized and initiated late compared to UK, Japan as well as many other countries that have achieved economic growth earlier than Korea. In 2013, the Special Law on UR established and the UR project has begun in earnest. However, there are still a number of pending issues required to be resolved for the regeneration of declining cities. After reviewing the background of UR in Korea, we would go through the progress and achievement of UR and then we look at the follow-up measures required to be resolved in short period as well as longer term for successful UR.

Assume that K is a number field and K_ur is the maximal unramified extension of it. When Gal(K_ur/K) is an infinite group. It is known that Gal(K_ur/K) is generated by finitely many Frobenius classes of Gal(K_ur/K) by Y. Ihara. In this paper, we will give the explicit number of Frobenius classes which generate whole group Gal(K_ur/K).

With the rapid increase in the construction of smart ships and the growing proportion of IT equipment on vessels, the frequency and severity of maritime cyber incidents have significantly escalated. Recognizing this situation, the International Association of Classification Societies recently enacted the UR E26 regulation. This study investigates the definition of cyber resilience and reviews existing research, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the priority of factors across the ship lifecycle as presented in the E26 regulation. Additionally, the E26 regulation is compared and analyzed against Cybersecurity Framework and Cyber Resiliency System of the NIST. Through this analysis, the study aims to assist companies that are unfamiliar with maritime cybersecurity in effectively responding to the IACS UR E26 regulation and proposes recommendations for the improvement of the UR E26 regulation.

This study aims to analyze community support methods and specific attainments of UR rental housing complex S in Japan and examine the present state of community formation.. UR rental housing S is part of the community revitalization support project launched by UR Urban Agency for creating exchanges among residents in the rental housing complex and in this study, the community support project from February to November 2013 was considered. As community revitalization support tasks, five types of events and exchange meetings were held. While the events and exchange meetings continued, even the residents who did not join the residents' association began to make an exchange with each other and their identity as residents enhanced, which means there was a change in the sense of community. Moreover, it is thought that a good solution to maintaining the chance for the events and exchange meetings after the support project is that residents of the younger generation actively cooperate in management as the residents' association members. 5 years after the support project, the present condition of activities of complex residents was examined, but the Residents' Association was disbanded due to the aging of residents, a growth in residents and low participation rates of the younger generation. Besides, there is a complete absence of community activities in the complex now.

The objectives of this study were to assess implementation on tariff quotas and tariff cuts committed in the WTO as result of Uruguay Round(UR) negotiations and to examine impacts of reductions in agricultural protection agreed in the UR on major non-timber forest products markets. The implementation of WTO Agreement on Agriculture was analysed based on the relevant data and statistics. The impacts of implementation on tariff cuts and tariff quotas on non-timber forest products markets were estimated by using supply and demand elasticities from previous studies and data on production, consumption and trade after UR. The quantities of Chestnut, Pine nut and Jujube imported by the system of tariff quota did not exceed the committed quotas over the five years from 1995 to 1999. The current level of applied rates on imports of non-timber products is much lower than that of bound rates, which will be maintained until the year 2004. It is estimated that increase in imports after UR reduced prices and that reduction in prices led to decrease in expenditure and to increase in consumer surplus. It is estimated, however, that production level significantly decreased due to rise in imports and that the negative effects on production exceeded positive effects on consumption. Exports of most non-timber forest products decreased after UR even though non-timber forest products could gain access to the export markets at the lower tariffs as a result of UR.

A bacterial strain, labeled $UR11^T$, was isolated from green alga Ulva pertusa collected from Jeju Island, Korea. $UR11^T$ was identified as a gram-negative, rod-shaped, motile by gliding and aerobic bacterial strain with yellow colonies on R2A plates. The strain $UR11^T$ grew over at a temperature range of $10^{\circ}C$ to $30^{\circ}C$ (optimally at $25^{\circ}C$), a pH range of 6.0-11 (optimally at pH 7.0) and a Nacl range of 0.5-5% Nacl (w/v). Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed that strain $UR11^T$ was a member of the genus Flavobacterium. Strain $UR11^T$ shared close similarity with F. jejuensis $EC11^T$ (98.0%) F. jumunjinense $HME7102^T$ (96.1%), F. haoranii $LQY-7^T$ (95.3%), F. dongtanense $LW30^T$ (95.1%), and F. ahnfeltiae 10Alg $130^T$(94.9%). The major fatty acids (>5%) were $iso-C_{15:0}$ (33.9%), $iso-C_{15:1}$ G (12.4%), $iso-C_{17:0}$ 3-OH (9.0%), $isoC_{16:0}$ (7.0%) and $iso-C_{15:0}$ 3-OH (6.3%). The major polar lipids were phosphatidylethanolamine, seven unknown aminolipids, two unknown aminopolarlipids and two unknown lipids. DNA-DNA hybridization value was 58% at strain $UR11^T$ with F. jejuensis $EC11^T$. Based on phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and phylogenetic evidence, strain $UR11^T$ represents a novel species of the genus Flavobacterium, for which the name Flavobacterium jocheonensis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is Flavobacterium jocheonensis is $UR11^T$ (=KCTC $52377^T$ =JCM $31512^T$).

UR협상만 타결되지 않으면 살 길이 열리는 것으로 착각하기 쉬우나, 우리는 이미 지난해에 GATT 18조국을 졸업하면서 97년까지는 모든 축산물의 수입개방을 약속한 바 있다. 따라서 우리는 UR협상이 타결되어 보조금이 삭감되어도 자조금제도 등은 없어지지 않기 때문에 이에 대한 준비를 철저히 해야겠다

The purpose of this study is to perform an analysis on the design methods of the "UR Housing Stock Renewal Design Competition" for Hanahata No.27 Housing by the UR Renaissance Agency in Japan. The analysis is done by looking at the aspects of lifestyle, demographics, environment, and community changes. The results are as follows: 1) Since demographic changes are caused by low fertility, aging populations need the support of locally-based social welfare facilities of which the architectural aspect can be examined. 2) Changes in lifestyle, such as diversity of family composition, flexibility of work, and improvement of leisurely activities require residents to have public spaces and facilities 3) Since environmental changes caused by deteriorated housing need the conversion of awareness about housing estates as a social asset. 4) To revitalize the community, houses, public facilities, and communal outdoor spaces must be connected. The results of this study are expected to serve as clues to the future direction of sustainable conversion in Korea.

The characteristics of probenecid effect on renal urate excretion in the cat were studied by clearance method and compared with those in the rabbit. In the cat GFR was $3.03{\pm}0.09\;ml/min{\cdot}kg$, and endogenous plasma urate concentration was $1.12{\pm}0.57\;{\mu}g/ml$, which is less than that in the rabbit $(3.33{\pm}0.46\;{\mu}g/ml)$. In the rabbit, $FE_{ur}$ was $1.76{\pm}0.08$ and net urate secretion was observed, while, in the cat $FE_{ur}$ was $0.70{\pm}0.02$ and net reabsorption was observed. In the cat $FE_{ur}$ was dependent on urine flow and independent of plasma urate concentration. In the rabbit $FE_{ur}$ was suppressed by infusion of probenecid $(30\;mg/kg\;-0.6\;mg/kg{\cdot}min)$ into femoral vein. In the cat the same dose of probenecid increased $FE_{ur}$ and concomitantly increased urine flow. Thus, an increase in $FE_{ur}$ by probenecid could be considered to be resulted from a change in urine flow. In the cat infusion of probenecid $(2.5\;mg/kg{\cdot}min)$ into renal artery markedly suppressed $FE_{P\;A\;H}$, but the effects on $FE_{ur}$ and urine flow were similar to those when probenecid was infused into femoral vein. These results indicate that in the cat kidney urate filtered through glomerulus is reabsorbed by a probenecid-insensitive mechanism with no evidence for net secretion.
