Ground Risk Model Development for Low Altitude UAV Traffic Management (저고도 무인기 교통관리를 위한 지상 충돌 위험 모델 개발)

  • In this paper, we develop the ground risk model of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operation to quantify the ground risk when the UAV falls to the ground during the intended operation in case of UAV failure. The ground risk is computed by using the UAV failure probability, the probability of impact a person when UAV falls to the ground, the probability of fatality when UAV strikes the person. We mathematically derive each probability to evaluate the ground risk of UAV operation. Also, the population density map, building to land ratio map, car traffic database is used to estimate the number of people exposed to collision with UAV. Finally, we assumed the operations of a UAV with two paths in Daejeon city and evaluate the ground risk of each UAV operations.

A Case Report of Acute Urticaria Treated by Korean Medicine Treatment (사물탕(四物湯) 등 한의 치료로 호전된 급성 두드러기에 대한 증례 보고)

  • Objectives : This study is to report effectiveness of Korean medicine monotherapy on an acute urticaria patient. Methods : A 26-year-old female acute urticaria patient visited Dong-Eui university Korean medical hospital at November 10th, 2020. The patient received Korean monotherapy including herbal medicine and aroma cream. The treatment continued for about 1 month until December 4th, 2020. Urticaria activity score(UAS), visual analogue scale(VAS), photographs were used to assess the symptoms. Results : After 20 days of medication, the symptoms were disappeared. UAS score was dropped 6 to 0 and VAS score dropped 9 to 0. About two years later, there was no recurrence. Conclusions : These results suggests that acute urticaria which accompanied by a moderate degree of pruritus can be sufficiently managed by Korean medicine therapy.

  • Personal Air Vehicle (PAV), Cargo UAS (Cargo UAS), and existing manned and unmanned aircraft are key vehicles for urban air mobility (UAM), and should demonstrate compatibility for the design of aircraft systems. The safety assessment required by for certification to ensure safety and reliability should be systematically performed throughout the entire cycle from the beginning of the aircraft development process. However, with the increasing complexity of safety critical aviation systems and the application of state-of-the-art systems, conventional experience-based and procedural-based safety evaluation methods make ir difficult to objectively assess safety requirements and system safety. Therefore, Model-Based Safety Assessment (MBSA) using modeling and simulation techniques is actively being studied at domestic and foreign countries to address these problems. In this paper, we propose a Model-Based Safety Evaluation framework utilizing modeling and simulation-based integrated flight simulators. Our case studies on the Traffic Collision Availability System (TCAS) and Wheel Brake System (WBS) confirmed that they are practical for future safety assessments.

A Study on the 3D Reconstruction and Historical Evidence of Recumbent Buddha Based on Fusion of UAS, CRP and Terrestrial LiDAR (UAS, CRP 및 지상 LiDAR 융합기반 와형석조여래불의 3차원 재현과 고증 연구)

  • Recently, Interest in the restoration and 3D reconstruction of cultural properties due to the fire of Notre Dame Cathedral on April 15, 2019 has been focused once again after the 2008 Sungnyemun fire incident in South Korea. In particular, research to restore and reconstruct the actual measurement of cultural properties using LiDAR(Light Detection and ranging) and conventional surveying, which were previously used, using various 3D reconstruction technologies, is being actively conducted. This study acquires data using unmanned aerial imagery of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), which has recently established itself as a core technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, and the existing CRP(Closed Range Photogrammetry) and terrestrial LiDAR scanning for the Recumbent Buddha of Unju Temple. Then, the 3D reconstruction was performed with three fusion models based on SfM(Structure-from-Motion), and the reproducibility and accuracy of the models were compared and analyzed. In addition, using the best fusion model among the three models, the relationship with the Polar Star(Polaris) was confirmed based on the real world coordinates of the Recumbent Buddha, which contains the astronomical history of Buddhism in the early 11th century Goryeo Dynasty. Through this study, not only the simple external 3D reconstruction of cultural properties, but also the method of reconstructing the historical evidence according to the type and shape of the cultural properties was sought by confirming the historical evidence of the cultural properties in terms of spatial information.

  • Allantoin 분해 유전자들중 highly inducible 한 DAL7, DUR1,2및 constitutive한 DAL5 gene의 promoter를 deletion 방법에 의해 발현에 필요한 최소 DNA seqyence 부위를 정한후 이 DNA seqyence를 다시 oligonucleotide 합성방법에 의해 합성하여 Cyc 1-LacZ expression vector에 삽입하여 효모내에서 LacZ의 발현이 삽입한 DNA sequence에 의해 영향을 받는 정도를 측정하여 (.betha.-galactosidase activity) deletion 방법에 의해 결정한 이 DNA dequence들이 직접 발현유도에 관여하는가를 조사하였다.

  • SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 프로토콜은 구조가 간단하고 다양한 애플리케이션을 개발할 수 있는 등의 장점을 가지고 있기 때문에 차세대 네트워크에서 호 설정을 위한 사실상의 표준으로 자리 잡아가고 있다. SIP는 계층적 구조를 갖는 프로토콜로서, SIP의 일부 계층은 대부분의 SIP 응용 애플리케이션에서 공통적으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP 애플리케이션 개발에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있는 SIP 공통모듈에 대한 간략한 설명과 이를 이용한 사용자 에이전트의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 설명한다.

A Clinical Case Report of Chronic Urticaria Treated with Gagamtongcheong-san (가감통청산(加減通淸散)으로 치료한 만성 두드러기 치험 1례)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report 1 clinical experience of korean medicine treatment on chronic urticaria identified as "Wind Heat" pattern. Methods : We treated a 63-year old woman patient with Gagamtongcheong-san, acupuncture and pharmacopuncture. The improvement of patients evaluated using CU-Q2oL, UAS, and photography. Results : CU-Q2oL score decreased from 95 to 18, UAS decreased from 6 to 0. Conclusions : The complex treatments of korean medicine and was effective to improve of chronic urticaria. It is necessary to have more observations and case reports.

Regulation of the Drosophila Fascin by Raf Signaling (Raf 신호에 의한 초파리 fascin의 조절)

  • Fascin, a cytoskeleton actin binding protein, functions in cell adhesion and cell migration. Fascin is also known as a candidate biomarker for various cancers, however, regulatory mechanisms of fascin expression remains little understood. In this study, we found an abnormal bristle phenotype, which is similar to that of the Drosophila fascin mutant, in Drafmutant flies. Hence, we investigated whether fascin expression is regulated by Raf signaling. RT-PCR and Western blot analysis showed that Drosophila fascin expression was down-regulated in Draf mutant flies and the level was increased in larvae expressing the oncogenic form of Draf (Draf$^{got}$) under the GAL4-UAS system. Immunostaining analysis showed increased fascin in the hemocytes over-expressing Draf$^{got}$. Our results indicate that fascin expression is regulated by Raf signaling and suggest that Raf signaling may play an important role in the actin cytoskeleton-associated developmental process and tumor progression via regulation of fascin gene.

Construction of the Transgenic Drosophila melanogaster Expressing a Human Megsin Gene. (인간 신장질환 유발인자가 발현하는 형질전환 초파리 구축)

  • IgA nephropathy(IgAN) is considered to be a multifactorial disease with genetic and environmental factors contributing to its pathogenesis. The genes involved in susceptibility and progression of the disease have not yet been clearly elucidated. Megsin is an important candidate gene, predominantly expressed in glomerular mesangium and upregulated in IgAN. To understand biological function of megsin, in this work we have produced transgenic D. melanogaster fly over-expressing human megsin(actin-gal4>UAS-Megsin fly). Introduced human megsin was confirmed by RT-PCR and Western blotting, respectively. Its phenotype is melanin deficiency-abdomen and the megsin gene is stably transferred to the next generations.

A Study on Ground Risk and Mitigation in the SORA Methodology (무인항공기 SORA 위험평가를 위한 지상위험도 및 완화수단 분석)

  • In the SORA methodology developed for the operational risk assessment of a specific category of operation of a UAS, the ground and the air risk levels are determined, and a SAIL indicating the level of assurance and integrity for the corresponding risk is assigned, and accordingly, the operational safety level for the proposed operation. Objectives should be demonstrated at an appropriate level of robustness. Because of the nature of the specific category of operation, people on the ground are the first risk subjects to be considered. The resulting ground risk class plays an important role in the allocation of SAIL. In this paper, the impact on SAIL and OSO according to the final risk level and the reduction of the level through the determination of the ground risk level and the application of mitigation measures among risk assessments for specific categories of UAV operation was investigated.
