  • Today, the medical information system has evolved in the way of integrated healthcare IT information systems. Therefore, it is trying to build advanced U-Healthcare service. Though the U-Healthcare environments is exchanged the information between systems in many cases, however since the each system is different, the integration and exchange of data is difficult. To overcome this problem, in this paper it proposes that we suggests a possible DBaaS(DataBase as a Service) for the heterogeneous integration of medical information management and data exchange. First, the proposed system builds DBaaS cloud by integrating the meta-DB Schema level and DB Schema for each hospital. And, the mapping the schema data and the existing hospital information system is possible using the International Standard HL7. By applying the proposed method to the hospital system, it comes true the efficient exchange of information between the patients, doctors, staffs through the data mapping of the one to multi-system.

  • Recently, A utilization request of the U-Healthcare services are increasing rapidly. This is because the increase in smartphone users and ubiquitous computing technology was developed. Furthermore, the demand for access to and use of medical information systems is growing rapidly with a smartphone. This system have the advantage such as they can access from anywhere and anytime in the healthcare information system using their smartphone quickly and easily. But this system have various problems that are a privacy issue, the location disclosure issue, and the potential infringement of personal information. this problems are arise very explosive. Therefore, we propose a secure information security system that can solve the security problems in healthcare information systems for healthcare workers using smartphone. Our proposed system, doctors record, store, modify and manage patient medical information and this system would be safer than the existing healthcare information systems. The proposed system allows the doctor to perform further authentication by transmitting using SMS to GOTP message when they accessing medical information systems. So our proposed system can support to more secure system that can protect user individual information stealing and modify attack by two-factor authentication scheme. And this system can support confidentiality, integrity, location information blocking, personal information steal prevent using cryptography algorithm that is easy and fast.

  • Nowadays there are many studies and there's huge development about RFID and WSN which have great developmental potential to many kinds of applications. In particular, the healthcare field is expected to could be securing international competitive power in u-Healthcare and combined medical treatment industry and service. More and more real time application apply RFID and WSN technology to identify, data collect and locate objects. Wide deployment of RFID and WSN will generate an unprecedented volume of primitive data in a short time. Duplication and redundancy of primitive data will affect real time performance of application. Thus, emerging applications must filter primitive data and correlate them for complex pattern detection and transform them to events that provide meaningful, actionable information to end application. In this paper, we design a complex event processing system. This system will process RFID and WSN primitive data and event and perform data transformation. Integrate RFID and WSN system had applied each now in medical treatment through this study and efficient data transmission and management forecast that is possible.

  • Pulse wave is the physiological responses through the autonomic nervous system such as ECG. It is relatively convenient because it can measure the signal just by applying a sensor on a finger. So, it can be usefully employed in the field of U-Healthcare. The objects of this study are acquiring the PPG (Photoplethysmography) one of the way of measuring the pulse waves in non-invasive way using the CMOS image sensor on a smartphone camera, developing the portable system judging stressful or not, and confirming the applicability in the field of u-Healthcare. PPG was acquired by using image data from smartphone camera without separate sensors and analyzed. Also, with that image signal data, HRV (Heart Rate Variability) and stress index were offered users by just using smartphone without separate host equipment. In addition, the reliability and accuracy of acquired data were improved by developing additional hardware device. From these experiments, we can confirm that measuring heart rate through the PPG, and the stress index for analysis the stress degree using the image of a smartphone camera are possible. In this study, we used a smartphone camera, not commercialized product or standardized sensor, so it has low resolution than those of using commercialized external sensor. However, despite this disadvantage, it can be usefully employed as the u-Healthcare device because it can obtain the promising data by developing additional external device for improvement reliability of result and optimization algorithm.
