본 연구에서는 MOSFET의 RF 성능을 극대화하기 위해 단위 게이트 finger 폭($W_u$)에 대한 $f_T$ 및 $f_{max}$의 종속데이터를 측정하고 이 결과를 소신호 모델 파라미터들을 추출함으로써 새롭게 분석하였다. 이러한 물리적 분석결과로 $f_T$의 최대값이 존재하는 원인은 좁은 $W_u$에서 $W_u$에 무관한 parasitic gate-bulk capacitance와 넓은 $W_u$에서 트랜스컨덕턴스의 증가율이 감소하는 wide width effect에 의한 것임을 알 수 있다. 또한, $f_{max}$의 최대값은 게이트저항이 좁은 $W_u$에서 크게 줄어들고 넓은 $W_u$에서 점점 일정하게 되는 non-quasi-static effect에 의해 발생된다는 사실이 밝혀졌다.

This paper presents some characterizations of the Weibull distribution by the independence of record values. We prove that $X{\sim}Weibull(1,{\alpha})$, ${\alpha}>0$ if and only if $\frac{X_{U(n+1)}}{X_{U(n+1)}-X_{U(n)}}$ and $X_{U(n+1)}$ for $n{\geq}1$ are independent. We show that $X{\sim}Weibull(1,{\alpha})$, ${\alpha}>0$ if and only if $\frac{X_{U(n+1)}}{X_{U(n+1)}-X_{U(n)}}$ and $X_{U(n+1)}$ for $n{\geq}1$ are independent. And we establish that $X{\sim}Weibull(1,{\alpha})$, ${\alpha}>0$ if and only if $\frac{X_{U(n+1)}+X_{U(n)}}{X_{U(n+1)}-X_{U(n)}}$ and $X_{U(n+1)}$ for $n{\geq}1$ are independent.

In this work, we consider a finite difference operator $L^2_N$ corresponding to $$Lu:=-(u_{xx}+u_{yy})\;in\;{\Omega},\;u=0\;on\;{\partial}{\Omega}$$, in $S_{h^2,1}$. We derive the relation between the absolute value of the bilinear form $l_{N^2}$(u, v) on $S_{h^2,1}{\times}S_{h^2,1}$ and Sobolev $H^1$ norms.

The zeroth-order general Randić index ⁰R_α(G) of the graph G is defined as ∑_u∈V(G)d(u)^α, where d(u) is the degree of vertex u and α is an arbitrary real number. In this paper, the maximum value of zeroth-order general Randić index on the graphs of order n with a given clique number is presented for any α ≠ 0, 1 and α ∉ (2, 2n-1], where n = |V (G)|. The minimum value of zeroth-order general Randić index on the graphs with a given clique number is also obtained for any α ≠ 0, 1. Furthermore, the corresponding extremal graphs are characterized.

Serum levels of human placental lactogen were measured by hemagglutination inhibition reaction in 26 normal pregnant state and in patients with 16 toxemia and 6 F.D.I.U. beyond their thirtieth week of gestation to evaluate their clinical usefulness. It was realized that HPL-HAIR Test Kit was easy to use and produced reliable results. The general conclusion were as follows: 1) HPL value was $6{\sim}8$ug/ml in normal pregnancy. 2) The levels in mild toxemia were similar in the normal state. 3) The levels in severe toxemia were similar or slightly lower than in the normal and mild toxemia. 4) The levels in F.D.I.U. were lower than in the normal state.

In this paper we establish some recurrence relations satisfied by the quotient moments of the upper record values from the Weibull distribution. 미생물로부터 U937 세포주의 etoposide에 유발된 apoptosis 저해물질을 탐색한 결과 곰팡이 F80834 균주를 선발하였다. 균주 배양액으로부터 저해물질을 분리한 후 UV, EIMS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DEPT 등의 기기분석을 실시한 결과 terrein으로 동정되었다. 이 물질은 $IC_{50}$ $20\mu\textrm{g}/ml$의 농도로 U937 세포주의 etoposide에 의한 caspase 3 유도를 저해하였다. Etoposide에 의한 세포의 사멸도 IC50 $10\mu\textrm{g}/ml$ 농도로 저해하였으며, 동일한 농도 조건에서 단독 처리시 세포 독성을 나타내지 않았다.

For the first time, the characteristics of solid circulation rate ($G_S$) were investigated in a three-phase (gas-liquid-solid) viscous circulating fluidized bed (TPCFB). The solid circulation rate was controlled separately by adjusting the experimental apparatus as well as operating variables. Effects of primary and secondary liquid velocities ($U_{L1}$ and $U_{L2}$), gas velocity ($U_G$), particle size ($d_p$), height of particles piled up in the solid recycle device (h), and viscosity of continuous liquid media (${\mu}_L$) on the value of $G_S$ were determined. The experimental results showed that the value of $G_S$ increased with increases in the values of $U_{L1}$, $U_{L2}$, h and ${\mu}_L$, while it decreased with increasing $U_G$ and $d_p$ in TPCFBs with viscous liquid media. The values of $G_S$ were well correlated in terms of dimensionless groups within this experimental conditions.

For the practical application of U-flanged Truss Hybrid beams, the flexural capacity of hybrid beams with end reinforcement details using vertical steel plates was verified. The bending test of U-flanged Truss Hybrid beams was performed using the same top chord under the compressive force, but with the thickness of the bottom plate and the amount of tensile reinforcement. The initial stiffness and maximum load of the specimen with tensile reinforcement have a higher value than that of the specimen without tension reinforcement, but the more tensile reinforcement, the greater the load decrease after the maximum load. In the case of the specimen with tensile reinforcement, because the test result value is 76% to 88% when compared with the flexural strength according to Korea Design Code, the safety of the U-flanged Truss Hybrid beam with the same details of the specimens can't ensure. Therefore, the development of new details is required to ensure that the bottom steel plate and the tensile reinforcement can undergo sufficient tensile deformation.
