Purpose: Social networking services have been recognized as an attractive distribution channel at a time when efforts to deliver effective messages to consumers are essential amid a flood of advertisements in the multi-media era. In that sense, this study investigated the effect of the scarcity message type (limited-time vs. limited-quantity) and sender type (corporate vs. consumer) on the intention to purchase golf equipment by Instagram distribution channel. Research design, data and methodology: Data from 108 college students in their 20s and 30s with experience using Instagram were collected online through convenience sampling. A frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, independent sample t-test, and two-way analysis of variance were performed using SPSS 23.0. Results: The results showed that limited-quantity messages induce a higher purchase intention than limited-time messages. Similarly, consumer-sent advertisements induce a higher purchase intention than corporate-sent advertisements. Further, there is no statistically significant interaction effect of the scarcity message type and sender type on the intention to purchase golf equipment. Conclusions: This study is meaningful in verifying consumers' purchase intention depending on the type of scarcity message and the type of sender in Instagram advertisements. The results yield significant implications for marketers and several directions for future research.

This study was carried out to verify how much instructor's communication skill affects the student pilot's study motivation and satisfaction. The instructor's communication styles are classified into 3 groups by pre-analysis. Three types are cooperative type, control type and professional type. Intellectual cause, performance proficiency cause, social cause and stimulation avoidance cause are extracted and analyzed for the cause of study motivation. Cooperative and control type affected all of 4 factors of student's study motivation by influence analysis. Intellectual cause affected control and cooperative type positively, especially more to cooperative type. Performance proficiency cause also had positive influence to control and cooperative type. Stimulation avoidance cause didn't appear to affect all sub-classified 4 factors of instructor's communication type. Influence analysis of student's study satisfaction from instructor's communication style showed that independent variable affected all sub factors positively. Degree of positive influence affected the control type the most, cooperative type was the 2nd, and professional type was the 3rd.
The purpose of this research is to understand the physiological characteristics of muscular men between the ages of 20 and 34 years who are distinct from the general population due to their muscular development, and to categorize them according to upper body somatotypes. This research was conducted in order to provide basic data necessary for developing clothing products for muscular men. The research method and results were as follows: 1. The study carried out factor analysis with the body measuring value of 168 muscular men according to the body classification method of Sheldon and Heath-Carter. The study materialized muscular men's lower body types statistically by carrying out cluster analysis, regarding scores of each factor extracted from the factor analysis as an independent variable. The study also carried out discriminant analysis with the results of cluster analysis classified so that morphological characters of each type were remarkably distinguished. 2. As the results of factor analysis, the study set up number of factors as three. Factor 1 occupied 38.149% of the total variables as a size factor of the lower body. Factor 2 occupied 20.417% of the total variables as a height and length factor of the lower body. Factor 3 occupied 8.466% of the total variables as a length factor of the hip. 3. The study classified the lower body type into three types and the characteristics by each type were as follows. Type 1 was a group with the best developed muscle in the lower of the body, considering that a size of their lower bodies was the largest. Type 2 was well-balanced muscular males though a size of the lower body was smaller than other types. This type didn't have fatness of the abdomen and large hips. Type 3 was a body type that the length from the waist to the hip was long. 4. As the results of carrying out discriminant analysis to distinguish muscular men's lower body types, the discriminant accuracy was 86.3% over all in the lower bodies.

The performance of slopes during earthquake is often accessed in terms of permanent deformation. In the assessment of permanent deformation, Newmark-type rigid block analysis is widely used. Original Newmark-type block approach, however, assumes the potential sliding mass to be rigid, and has been criticized to be potentially unconservative. The paper reviews analytically the impact of this noncompliance assumption on computed permanent deformations. The results indicate that there is a simple criterion that can be used to determine the level of conservativeness of the rigid block approach in cases of gently-sloping slip surfaces and retaining walls.
Recent earthquakes, measuring over a magnitude of 5.0, on the eastern coast of Korea, have aroused interest in earthquake analyses and the seismic design of caisson-type breakwaters. Most earthquake analysis methods, such as equivalent static analysis, response spectrum analysis, nonlinear analysis, and capacity analysis, are deterministic and have been used for seismic design and performance evaluation of coastal structures. However, deterministic methods are difficult for reflecting on one of the most important characteristics of earthquakes, i.e. the uncertainty of earthquakes. This paper presents results of probabilistic seismic hazard assessment(PSHA) of an actual caisson-type breakwater, considering uncertainties of earthquake occurrences and soil properties. First, the seismic vulnerability of a structure and the seismic hazard of the site are evaluated, using earthquake sets and a seismic hazard map; then, the seismic risk of the structure is assessed.
The objective of this study is to compare atomization characteristics for differently made an ultrasonic twin-fluid nozzle. A spray system, an ultrasonic system, and three different type(Nozzle type, Tube type. Conventional type)are made and compared experimental and numerical results. In this investigation, the measurement and numerical analysis of spray droplet are to analyze the effects of ultrasonic energy on the agricultural atomization spray system in order to protection of dispersion droplets. It is clarified that ultrasonic energy forcing into a nozzle is valid to obtain atomization enchancement. As the result of comparing the experimental and numerical result, it is confirmed that nozzle type is highest efficiency than that of tube type and conventional type, also well fit, respectively.

In order to overcome the demerit and to improve the operation characteristics of Moving Coil type Linear Oscillatory Actuator(MC-LOA) with single-pole permanent magnet, this paper presents two models having the balanced magnetic circuit by multi-pole permanent magnet. They are short coil type with two-pole single-sided and two-ple double-sided permanent magnet. The characteristics between single-pole and multi-pole permanent magnet type MC-LOA are compared. As a result, multi-pole type MC-LOA has more merits than single-pole type about operation characteristics improvement and machine volume. The characteristics analysis is performed by their dynamic analysis composed of kinetic and electric equations and Finite Element Method(FEM). The propriety of multi-pole type MC-LOA model is verified with analysis results.
Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) has been widely applied to provide insights into the cell-by-cell expression difference in a given bulk sample. Accordingly, numerous analysis methods have been developed. As it involves simultaneous analyses of many cell and genes, efficiency of the methods is crucial. The conventional cell type annotation method is laborious and subjective. Here we propose a semi-automatic method that calculates a normalized score for each cell type based on user-supplied cell type-specific marker gene list. The method was applied to a publicly available scRNA-seq data of mouse cardiac non-myocyte cell pool. Annotating the 35 t-stochastic neighbor embedding clusters into 12 cell types was straightforward, and its accuracy was evaluated by constructing co-expression network for each cell type. Gene Ontology analysis was congruent with the annotated cell type and the corollary regulatory network analysis showed upstream transcription factors that have well supported literature evidences. The source code is available as an R script upon request.
This study was aimed to provide the fundamental and various measurement data of the head and face for Korean children. Two hundred sixty nine female children, aged nine to twelve years, participated for this study. The 28 regions on the head and face of the subjects were directly measured by the expert experimenters. Factor analysis, cluster analysis, GLM analysis and Tukey HSD test were performed' using these data. Through factor analysis, six factors were extracted upon factor scores and those factors comprised 71.42% for the total variances. Four clusters as their head and face shape were categorized using six factor scores by cluster analysis. Type 1 was characterized by the shorter head & face length and width and the lowest position from forehead to nose. Type 2 had the longer head & face length and width and the highest ear position and the largest mouse width. Type 3 was characterized by the longest and head & face type and the widest head & face girth. Type 4 was characterized by shortest head & face length the lower ear and lips position.
