  • The item and structure of current detector depends on the current in conductors. The Hall current detector of these detectors is to use the variation of Hall voltage to conductor's current and it is very difficult for the conventional type to detect small current. In this paper we study experimented-method that detect AC current by using the magnetic modulation method the current, 0[mA]~100[mA]. The experiments results in 5 percent against the conventional, 20 percent in linear error, 0.12[.DELTA.mV/.DELTA.mA] to conventional type, 50[.DELTA.mV/.DELTA.mA] in sensitivity.   • 자성체, 반도체의 계면을 조절하여 스핀 산란을 없애는 방법으로 A12O3를 이용하여, 스핀의 정보를 잃지 않고 반도체에 주입할 수 있는 방법을 연구하였다. 반도체에 월형 편광된 laser를 조사하여 내부에서 여기한 전자 spin이 자성체 내부로 흘러가면서 일어나는 현상을 관측한 것이다[1], [2]. 일반적인 반도체와 금속간의 접합을 구성한 schottky-barrier 특성이 아닌 접합 사이에 인위적으로 barrier를 형성하여 그 특성을 관측하였다. n-type 과 p-type의 시료를 제작하여 I-V 특성을 온도에 따라 I-V 특성 측정하였다.   • In 1987, we experienced 2 cases of T.A.P.V.D. corrected successfully under cardiopulmonary bypass. The first case was 28 years old male with supracardiac type drained through left innominate vein. He was oldest patient among T.A.P.V.D. which was reported in Korea. The other case was 14 years old male with cardiac type drained to right atrium directly without communication with coronary sinus. Two patients were well in postoperative 9 and 10 months and have NYHA functional class I.

Effect of Sterols on Phytophthora infestans and Oospore Production on detached Potato Plants (감자 역병균에 대한 스테롤류의 영향 및 감자절편에서의 난포자 형성)

  • The effects of media, cholesterol, $\beta$-sitosterol and lecithin on the growth and oospore production of the isolates KM10, U6, CDB6, MHB6, JD1 (A$^2$type) of Phytophthora infestans isolated in Korea and F8l7, DNC303 (A$^1$type), IB908, DN107 (A$^2$type) obtained from Japan were investigated. Mycelium of P. infestans grew better on V-8 juice agar and rye meal agar than on the other media. Oospores were produced most abundantly on V-8 juice agar. Mycelium extended more 16.6, 8.3, and 5.2% on V-8 juice agar supplemented with 5 $\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ of cholesterol, $\beta$-sitosterol and lecithin, respectively, and oospores are produced 76.0, 58.0, and 34.6 % on V-8juice agar supplemented with 5 $\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ of cholesterol, $\beta$-sitosterol and lecithin, respectively. Oospores more produced on detached potato plant disks when $A^1$ and $A^2$ type exist simultaneously which indicating that variation of population can occur in the field, but the rate of oospore formation and the number of oospores produced was low and small quantity.

  • Although the goals of HL7 Version 2(V2) and Version 3(V3) are identical, the concepts of the implementation and technological basis are different; this makes their versions inconvertible. This problem interrupts technological innovation advanced from V2 to V3 and has been raised as a new type of barrier in the field of medical information system. This study intends to develop software to convert V2 to V3 which can be utilized in the actual medical environment. Since it is practically difficult to develop the whole tools that automatically change total V2 messages into V3 messages, this article has designed, implemented, and tested the software that allows mapping between V2 and V3 which function as tools. In order to test this program, it has used ADT^A03 of five V2 messages to generate V3 messages. It is expected that the result of this research will be one of the new methods allowing conversion between V2 and V3.

  • 765kV substations which will be the core installation of the bulk power transmission system in Korea for the upcoming $21^{st}$ century, were designed of outdoor full GIS type to minimize required area. As principal equipment, main transformers of 2,000 MVA per bank and 50kA 8,000A gas insulated switchgears of up-to-date technology were adopted in designing substations to transmit bulk power of 10GW. Dual digital protective relay systems and distributed indication and control systems with fiber optic LAN were used.

  • In a previous paper, we have examined the effects of nozzle configuration and jet to jet spacing on the heat transfer of 1 row of circular water jets. In this paper, experiments have been conducted to obtain the effects of nozzle to target plate distances on the heat transfer of 1 row of 3 jets and 1 row of 5 jets. The nozzle configurations are Cone type, Reverse cone type and Vertical circular type. Nozzle to target plate distance H was varied from 16 mm(H/D=2) to 80mm(H/D=10). For fixed value of mass flow rate and nozzle to target plate distance, larger values of average Nusselt number were obtained for the smaller jet to jet spacing. For the array of water jets, the average heat transfer was decreased slightly with increasing nozzle to target plate distance at low jet velocity of $\textrm{V}_{o}$=3 m/s. However, except for $\textrm{V}_{o}$=8 m/s of 1 row of 5 jets, it was increased with increasing nozzle to target plate distance at high jet velocity of $\textrm{V}_{o}$$\geq$6m/s. We proposed to apply the nozzle configuration of maximum average heat transfer to each nozzle to target plate distance for 1 row of 3 jets, and, it was Reverse cone type nozzle for 1 row of 5 jets(Reynolds number$\geq$36000).

Design of motion-adaptable 3D printed impact protection pad (동작 가변적 3D 프린팅 충격보호패드의 설계)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a 3D mesh-type impact protection pad with excellent motion adaptability and functionality by applying 3D printing technology. The hexagonal 3D mesh, which constitutes the basic structure of the pad, comprises two types: small and large. The bridge connecting the basic units was designed as the I-type, V-type, IV-type, and VV-type. After evaluating the characteristics of the bridge, it was found that the V-type bridge had the highest flexibility and tensile elongation. The hip joint pad and knee pad were completed by combining the hexagonal 3D mesh structure with the optimal bridge design. The impact protection pad was printed using a fused deposition modeling-type 3D printer with a filament made of thermoplastic polyurethane material, and the protection pad's performance was evaluated. When an impact force of approximately 6,500N was applied to the pad, the force attenuation percentage was 78%, and when an impact force of approximately 8,000N was applied, the force attenuation percentage was 75%. Through these results, it was confirmed that the 3D-printed impact protection pad with a hexagonal 3D mesh structure connected by a V-shaped bridge developed in this study can adapt to changes in the body surface according to movement and provides excellent impact protection performance.
