  • The rubber wheel-type AGT has two major kinds of bogie; one is the bogie type and the other steering one. Both are important vehicular structure to support the whole running vehicle and passenger loads. This paper deals with the static analysis for the two types of bogie frame subjected to combined external forces, as well as independent ones specified in UIC 515-4. Furthermore, the dynamic analysis is performed under vibrational loading conditions so as to compare dynamic characteristics, Numerical results by using commercial packages, I-DEAS and NASTRAN show that maximum stresses do not exceed the yield strength level of material used for both bogies. From an overall viewpoint of strength, the bogie type turns out to be superior to the steering type except for the case of a lateral loading. It is also observed that the steering type shows a characteristics of low frequency behavior during a course of searching for structurally weak areas to be stiffened. The vibrational fatigue analysis for each bogie frame depends on the loading time history conditions which is applied. Time History Central Database List in the NASTRAN package. Subsequent1y, the fatigue life of bogie type is longer than the steering type.

  • Statement of problem. Primary implant stability has long been identified as a prerequisite to achieve osseointegration. So the application of a simple, clinically applicable noninvasive test to assess implant stability and osseiointegratation are considered highly desirable. Purpose. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ISQ value and the insertion torque of the 3 different implant system, then to evaluate whether there was a correlation between ISQ value and insertion torque; and to determine whether implant design has an influence on either insertion torque or ISQ value. Material and method. The experiment was composed of 3 groups: depending on the implant fixture design. Group1 was Branemark type parallel implant in $3.75{\times}7mm$. Group2 was Oneplant type straight implant in $4.3{\times}8.5mm$. Group3 was Oneplant type tapered implant in $4.3{\times}8.5mm$. Depending on the density of the bone, 2 types of bone were used in this experiment. Type I bone represented for cortical bone, type II bone represented for cancellous bone. With the insertion of the implant in type I and type II bone, the insertion torque was measured, then the ISQ value was evaluated, and then the correlation between insertion torque and ISQ value was analyzed Result and conclusion. Within the limitations of this study, the following conclusions were drawn. 1. Within the 3 different implants, the insertion torque value and ISQ value were higher in type I bone, when compared with type II bone.(p<0.05) 2. In type I and type II bone, Oneplant type tapered implant has the highest value in insertion torque.(p<0.05) 3. In type I and type II bone, there was no difference in ISQ values among the 3 types of implant. (p>0.05) 4. Significant linear correlation was found in $Br{\aa}nemark$ type parallel implant: $3.75{\times}7mm$ in type II bone.

With SPSS win program I analyzed 80 female murderers caught in the correction facility. The analysis results are as follows : Firstly, the age bracket of the female murderers is very high in their thirties(47.5%), they didn't almost graduate from the middle-school(65%). Secondly, they almost married(92.5%) and their job was the housekeeper(52.5%). Thirdly, the female murderers almost killed their husbands(45%) and other victims was people who was familiar with the female murderer. Fourth, the offenders were afraid that the victims had the responsibility for murder(87.5%). Fifthly, according to above analysis, the character type female murderers was almost anger-in type. Finally, My analysis shows us that the anger characteristics between offenders and victims was very similar. With the above research results, I can understand the socio-psychological characteristics of the female murderer. However, this paper has some problems which is the limit of the sampling range and the generalization of research results. In addition, we need to study the comparison with male murderers and female murderers.

  • Permanent deformation plays a key role in performance based earthquake resistant design. In order to estimate permanent deformation after earthquake, it is essential to secure reliable response history analysis(RHA) as well as earthquake scenario. This study focuses on permanent deformation of an inverted T-type wall under earthquake. The study is composed of two separate parts. The first one is on the verification of RHA and the second one is on an effect of input earthquake motion. The former is discussed in this paper and the latter in the companion paper. The verification is conducted via geotechnical dynamic centrifuge test in prototype scale. Response of wall stem, ground motions behind the wall obtained from RHA matched pretty well with physical test performed under centrifugal acceleration of 50g. The rigorously verified RHA is used for parametric study to investigate an effect of input earthquake motion selection in the companion paper.

  • The purposes of this study were first to construct statistical and econometric models based on Amemiya\`s Type I Tobit mainly addressing the issue of statistical efficiency; second to explore income, price, and curvilinear age effects on the explained variable in order to illustrates its statistical marginal effects related to econometric issues; finally to provide invaluable insight for graphical simulations as a new interpretation approach using Tobit analysis. Results indicated that interpretation for the mean marginal effects of three possible cases of dependent variable was more likely to be evident to understand Tobit results compared to conventional analysis only using latent variable, beta. Results also revealed that prediction value of dependent variable can be possibly and easily projected by the independent variable changed whereas only beta value can not illustrate its projection as independent variables'changes.

  • A mouse homozygous for the spontaneous mutation uncovered (Uncv) has a hairless phenotype. A 309-bp non-frameshift deletion mutation in the N-terminal cytoplasmic domain of iRhom2 was identified in Uncv mice ($iRhom2^{Uncv}$) using target region sequencing. The detailed molecular basis for how the iRhom2 mutation causes the hairless phenotype observed in the homozygous $iRhom2^{Uncv}$ mouse remains unknown. To identify differentially expressed proteins in the skin of wild-type and homozygous $iRhom2^{Uncv}$ littermates at postnatal day 5, proteomic approaches, including two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry were used. Twelve proteins were differentially expressed in the skin in a comparison between wild-type and homozygous $iRhom2^{Uncv}$ mice. A selection of the proteomic results were tested and verified using qRT-PCR, western blot and immunohistochemistry. These data indicate that differentially expressed proteins, especially KRT73, MEMO1 and Coro-1, might participate in the mechanism by which iRhom2 regulates the development of murine skin.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to classify landscape-type of golf course, and t provide a better understanding of landscape of existing golf courses, seek a developed method for landscape, and other useful knowledge. In order to classify landscape type of the golf course, and analyze the preference for the determinants, we have selected 4 golf courses in Yongin, Kyonggi Province. The analysis in this study shows that a variable, 'familiarity' is the most potent influence of visual preference, (Sig 0.01), and it can be divided into five classes of landscape-type in golf course. More specifically, we conducted the analysis of the image of views and visual preference to bring out major factors which could decide visual preference in golf courses. The results between visual preference and physical variable are as follows; 1. It implies that a factor for a image of the view in golf course is analyzed by 4 districts from factor 1 to factor 4. An ability explaining those factors in the whole of variable quantity is 51.742%, implying factors for the image of the scene in golf courses are appeared as familiarity, changeableness, spaciousness, and naturalness. Among those factors, since familiarity(C.V.; 26.783%) and changeableness(C.V.; 112.200%) took high rank, this represents the fact that familiarity or changeableness highly affects the forming of image. 2. Defending on degree of image ability in golf course, we could classify as five types such as Type I, Type II, Type II, Type IV, and Type V. 3. As a result of calculating type of factor score, Type I had the lowest ranking in naturalness, and rather lower than others such as organization and spaciousness. The II is a top-ranked one in familiarity and naturalness, while it has the lowest ranking in spaciousness. Type III has the highest ranking in organization and preference. Type IV is the lowest-ranked one in familiarity and preference. Type IV is the lowest-ranked one is familiarity and preference. Type V has the highest ranking in spaciousness, but the lowest ranking in organization. 4. As a result of preference, Type III, Type II, Type V, Type I, and Type IV come out in order. That water-seen place type charges the highest rank shows the importance of changeable materials. 5. These factors-familiarity, organization, spaciousness and naturalness- are the major materials of the scene of view in golf courses. The possibility of how to use those for designing and making enhanced golf courses should be reinvestigated through these factors. Especially, it is acknowledged that the duction of changeableness, which is not mentioned in the study of informational approach, is much stimulating for the designing use. A further research on this theme should be made in the future, not limiting to the golf courses in Yongin.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the differences in store evaluative criteria, clothing evaluative criteria, and purchasing behavior for casual wear among groups with different types of shopping orientation. Data were collected from 175 female and 169 male college students living in Beijing, and analysed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANDVA, Duncan test, crosstabulation analysis, and frequency analysis. Chinese college students were classified into four groups by their shopping orientations; fashion-pursuit type, individuality-pursuit type, practical type, and apathetic type. Significant differences were found in store evaluative criteria, clothing evaluative criteria, purchasing behaviors, and demographic characteristics. The fashion-pursuit type and individuality-pursuit type were more influenced by store location and service, product attributes, and fashion. They purchased more frequently and spent more money. Esthetic clothing evaluative criteria were considered more important by the individuality-pursuit type than the others, and symbolic clothing evaluative criteria by the fashion-pursuit type.
