  • The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of store benevolence for impact on store loyalty of store environment and store personality. For this study, data were collected through questionnaires. The survey ran from March to May, 2011, the total of 330 respondents was used in analysis. The subjects consisted of adults living in the Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do region, and convenience sampling. For statistical analysis, SPSS 19.0 were used to verify the study model. The major results of the study show that store benevolence may play a linkage role of store environment, store personality on store loyalty. The store benevolence variable has the effect of partial mediation. The analysis of relationship between the variables of store environment (convenience, information service accessibility, accessibility, variation) and the store type show significant differences store environment (convenience, information service and the store type). The analysis of relationship between the variables of store personality(warm, fun, sophisticated, forward-looking) and the store type show significant differences store personality (warm, fun, sophisticated, forward-looking) and store type. The analysis of relationship between the variables of store environment(convenience, information service accessibility, accessibility, variation), and the demographic variables show significant differences in store environment (information service accessibility) regarding only age. The analysis of relationship between the variables of store personality(warm, fun, sophisticated, forward-looking) and the demographic variable show significant differences in store personality(warm) regarding only age (accessibility, accessibility, variation).

에니어그램 성격유형에 따른 간호대학생의 정서지능, 방어기제와 대인돌봄행위 (The Emotional Intelligence, Defense Mechanism and Interpersonal Caring Behavior by Enneagram Personality Types in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the emotional intelligence, defense mechanism and interpersonal caring behavior by enneagram personality types in nursing students. Methods: A descriptive survey design was used and data were collected using questionnaires from a sample of 263 nursing students. The data were analyzed using by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis with SPSS 20.0. Results: In the enneagram personality types, the nursing students was highly measured the type 9(Peacemaker). Emotional intelligence was significantly associated with financial status of parents, motivation of admission and satisfaction of nursing by enneagram characters. Hoping and sharing of interpersonal caring behaviors were significantly differentiated with the power type of enneagram personality. And active listening, comforting, participating of interpersonal caring behaviors were the most popular among the 9 types of personality. There was a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and interpersonal caring behavior. Conclusion: This study suggest that nursing students should be educated the interpersonal caring behavior program considering emotional intelligence and enneagram personality types.

유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 Big5성격유형에 따른 양육참여 및 양육스트레스 (Parental Participation and Parenting Stress According to the Big Five Personality Types of Fathers With Young Children)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in parental involvement and parenting stress according to the father's personality type. Methods: The subjects of this study were 302 fathers with children aged three to five living in Seoul, and a survey was conducted on their Big Five personality types, parental involvement, and parenting stress.The collected data were analyzed using K-means cluster analysis and covariance analysis. Results: In this study, fathers' personality types were classified into four types: 'sincerity, friendship, openness'(21.5%), 'neuroticism'(27.8%), 'sincerity'(29.4%), and 'low sincerity'(21.1%). These are the exact same Fathers in the 'sincere, friendly, open' group showed higher parental involvement and lower parental stress, while fathers in the 'neurotic' group showed lower parenting involvement and higher parenting stress. Conclusion/Implications: There was a difference in parental involvement and parenting stress according to the father's personality type.Based on these results, it is expected that the understanding of the father's personality will be come clearer and the foundation for constructing a program related to parenting which considers personality types will be established.

간호사의 MBTI 성격유형과 학습조직화와의 관계 (A Study on MBTI Personality Type and Learning Organization)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the degree and pattern of learning organization and MBTI personality type in clinical nurses. Methods: The participants were 685 nurses working in the 8 general hospitals located in Seoul and Incheon. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires from April 1 to August 30, 2004. The data were analyzed using SAS program for descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The most frequent identified personality type was ISTJ and the least identified personal types was ENFJ. In 4 preference patterns, Extroversion, Sensing, Thinking and Judgement were identified a dominant index in each categories. The mean score of learning organization was 3.47 and the mental model was got the highest score. The EI index had a significant positive correlation with personal mastery. However the TF index had a negative correlation with personal mastery, systems thinking, and mental models, and also the JP index had a negative correlation with 5 learning organization sub categories. Conclusion: With these results, it was identified that the preference patterns on MBTI had the significant correlation with learning organization. So these results will be used to develop the more effective strategies to increase learning organization based on nurse's personality types.

영유아교사의 성격유형에 따른 직무만족도와 스트레스 대처 방식의 차이 (A Comparative Study of Job Satisfaction and Stress Coping Strategies of Teachers in Early Childhood Education and Care According to Their Personality Types)

  • 이 연구는 에니어그램을 이용하여 측정한 영유아교사의 성격유형에 따른 직무만족도와 스트레스 대처 방식의 차이를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 영유아교사 189명을 대상으로 조사를 하여 얻은 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아교사의 성격유형은 중재자 유형이 가장 많았고, 개혁가 유형, 조력가 유형의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직무만족도의 4개 하위요인 가운데 직무요인에서만 영유아교사의 성격유형에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보여 성취자 유형은 직무요인에 대해 가장 만족하였고, 지도자 유형의 만족 정도가 가장 낮았다. 그러나 이 두 집단의 수가 작아서 사후검증 결과 다른 집단 간 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그 대신 충성가 유형이 개혁가, 조력가, 낙천가, 중재자 유형에 비해 직무만족도가 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 영유아교사의 성격유형에 따른 스트레스 대처 방식은 5개 하위요인 가운데 심리적 대처 방식에서만 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보여 예술가 유형이 가장 높은 점수를, 조력자 유형이 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다. 사후검증 결과 예술가 유형은 개혁가, 조력가, 충성가, 낙천가, 중재자 유형보다 각각 유의하게 심리적 대처 방식을 더 많이 하는 것을 나타났다.

여대생의 의복평가기준과 성격유형과의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relation between Clothing Evaluative Criteria and Personality Types of Female University Students)

  • The purpose of this research was to determine the relation between clothing evaluative criteria and personality types. Primary factor analysis was used to classify the clothing evaluative criteria and the continual scores of Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) were used for classifying the personality types. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to determine the relation between the clothing evaluative criteria and the personality types. The data for this research were collected from questionnaires of 309 female university students in Seoul. In the results, the clothing evaluative criteria were grouped into 4 underlying dimensions: practical, situational, appearance producible and symbolic. Partially significant relations between the 4 clothing evaluative criteria and the 4 indicators of MBTI personality types were found through correlation analysis. Multiple regression analysis revealed that the variables explaining the dimension of Sensing and Intuition (SN) were appearance producible and symbolic clothing evaluative criteria; the appearance producible criterion had an inclination toward Intuition while the symbolic criterion had an inclination toward Sensing. The variable explaining the dimension of Judging and Perceiving (JP) was situational clothing evaluative criterion, which had an inclination toward Judging.

내·외향적 성격유형이 자바 프로그래밍 학습의 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향 : 공업계 특성화고등학교 학생을 중심으로 (The Effects of Introverted or Extroverted Personality Type on The Resilience of Java Programming Learning : Focused on Students at Technical-Specialized High School)

  • 소프트웨어 분야가 발전하고 주목을 받게 됨에 따라 최근 공업계 특성화고등학교에서는 학생들의 소프트웨어 분야의 능력 향상을 위하여 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 자바 프로그래밍을 학습하는 학생을 대상으로 내 외향적인 학습자들의 성격유형이 회복탄력성의 향상에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 내향적인 성격유형을 가진 학습자들은 프로그래밍 학습에 필요한 회복탄력성의 향상에 유의미한 결과를 얻지 못하였지만 외향적인 성격유형을 가진 학습자들은 외향적인 성격을 통하여 프로그래밍 학습에 필요한 회복탄력성에 유의미한 향상 결과를 얻었다. 이를 통해 내향적 성격유형을 가진 학습자들의 회복탄력성 향상을 위한 방안과 외향적 성격유형을 가진 학습자들의 장점을 살려 상호 도움이 되는 방안을 모색할 수 있다.

  • Generation MZ has emerged as a significant consumer segment and trendsetter in the fashion market of South Korea. Fashion designer brands have become popular among this generation by offering a range of fashion content on social network services (SNS) based on fresh and trendy designs. Despite the growing market share of fashion designer brands in the industry, previous research has mainly focused on brand personality in line with the characteristics of traditional fashion brands. Therefore, this study aims to derive brand personality and SNS characteristics of fashion designer brands based on previous research and investigate the influence of these factors on brand preference and behavioral intention. Moreover, it examines how this influencing mechanism fluctuates based on the consumer type (i.e., innovative type vs. price-sensitive type). Based on an online survey of 256 Korean adults with experience in fashion designer brands, this study identified the influencing mechanisms on purchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. This study contributes to empirical investigations of consumer brand preference and behavior intention in fashion designer brands through the brand equity model. It also offers insight into developing a segmented brand strategy by considering the variations in the influence mechanism of behavioral intention across different consumer types.

Factors Affecting Restaurant Consumers' Tipping Behavior

  • This study examines the relationship between tip amount and its possible antecedents: bill size, the Big Five personality types, meal type, food quality, atmosphere, service quality, consumer gender, server gender, customer hospitality experience, race, and alcohol consumption. A survey of southeastern undergraduate students was conducted to collect information about the customer, server and customer tipping habits. While the analysis suggests that service is an important factor, it shows that other factors affect tip amount. Furthermore, these factors affect tip amounts in many different ways. Some examples of these factors include bill size, alcohol consumption, gender dynamics, meal type, food quality, and personality type. The conclusion suggests the intuition behind these factors by providing a dissection of their meaning and their importance to servers, customers, and managers alike. Purpose: This study tests restaurant customer tipping habits and some personality traits that have received limited previous attention as predictors of tipping. Methods: This study is that the tip amount was self-reported, business students at a university in a large southeastern city of USA were asked to complete a tipping journal. Results: This study was able to replicate the service-tipping relationship. Moreover, this study reiterated that server friendliness is a very powerful tool to increasing tips. Conclusion: This study strongly indicate that service has a positive relationship with tip amount, and also produce a positive relationship with emotional stability and a negative relationship to conscientiousness.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the usefulness of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) through a character analysis of a novel and to improve the understanding of various types of people. This study aimed to increase nurses' understanding and empathy regarding the personality of various patients. Methods: This study categorized the characters in the novel Our Happy Time based on MBTI and analyzed their personality characteristics. Results: It is important for nurses to understand that the following types of patients can be identified using the MBTI: those with a concise explanation (ENTP), a modest attitude (ISFJ), an objective response (ENFJ), and a logical response (ENTJ). Conclusion: It is important for nurses to broaden their understanding of various personality types and backgrounds related to the formation of patients' personalities that they encounter in the clinical field via analyses using the MBTI personality types. Furthermore, understanding communication skills can be an important first step in resolving conflicts that occur during peer interactions.
