  • This paper is described about the technique of ultra-precision machining for optical parts in HMD system. Machining technique for PMMA and BK7 with single point diamond turning machining is reported in this paper. The main factors influencing on the machined surface quality are discovered and regularities of machining process are drawn. The purpose of our research is to find the optimum machining conditions fur cutting of PMMA and grinding of BK7. Also, apply the SPDTM technique to the manufacturing of ultra precision optical components of HMD system. Aspheric PMMA lens without a polishing process, the surface roughness of 5 nm Ra, and the form error of ${\lambda}/2\;({\lambda}=632.8nm)$ for reference curved surface 30 mm has been required.

  • Craniofacial cleft is a rare disease, and has multiple variations with a wide spectrum of severity. Among several classification systems of craniofacial clefts, the Tessier classification is the most widely used because of its simplicity and treatment-oriented approach. We report the case of a Tessier number 3 cleft with wide soft tissue and skeletal defect that resulted in direct communication among the orbital, maxillary sinus, nasal, and oral cavities. We performed soft tissue reconstruction using the straight-line advanced release technique that was devised for unilateral cleft lip repair. The extension of the lateral mucosal and medial mucosal flaps, the turn over flap from the outward turning lower eyelid, and wide dissection around the orbicularis oris muscle enabled successful soft tissue reconstruction without complications. Through this case, we have proved that the straight-line advanced release technique can be applied to severe craniofacial cleft repair as well as unilateral cleft lip repair.

  • The deep learning image processing technique was used to prevent accidents in lathe work caused by worker negligence. During lathe operation, when the chuck is rotated, it is very dangerous if the operator's hand is near the chuck. However, if the chuck is stopped during operation, it is not dangerous for the operator's hand to be in close proximity to the chuck for workpiece measurement, chip removal or tool change. We used YOLO (You Only Look Once), a deep learning image processing program for object detection and classification. Lathe work images such as hand, chuck rotation and chuck stop are used for learning, object detection and classification. As a result of the experiment, object detection and class classification were performed with a success probability of over 80% at a confidence score 0.5. Thus, we conclude that the artificial intelligence deep learning image processing technique can be effective in preventing incidents resulting from worker negligence in future manufacturing systems.

  • Recently, it is important to process multimedia data efficiently. Especially, in case of retrieval of multimedia information, technique of user interface and retrieval technique are necessary. This paper proposes a new technique which detects cuts effectively in compressed image information by MPEG. A cut is a turning point of scenes. The cut-detection is the basic work and the first-step for video indexing and retrieval. Existing methods have a weak point that they detect wrong cuts according to change of a screen such as fast motion of an object, movement of a camera and a flash. Because they compare between previous frame and present frame. The proposed technique detects shots at first using DC(Direct Current) coefficient of DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform). The database is composed of these detected shots. Features are extracted by HMMD color model and edge histogram descriptor(EHD) among the MPEG-7 visual descriptors. And detections are performed in sequence by the proposed matching technique. Through this experiments, an improved video segmentation system is implemented that it performs more quickly and precisely than existing techniques have.

  • We describe the pulse forming of pulsed $CO_2$laser using multi-pulse superposition technique. A various pulse length, high duty cycle pulse forming network(PFN) is constructed by time sequence. That is, this study shows a technology that makes it possible to make various pulse shapes by turning on SCRs of three PFN modules consecutively at a desirable delay time with the aid of PIC one-chip microprocessor. The power supply for this experiment consists of three PFN modules. Each PFN module uses a capacitor, a pulse forming inductor, a SCR, a High voltage pulse transformer, and a bridge rectifier on each transformer secondary. The PFN modules operate at low voltage and drive the primary of HV pulse transformer. The secondary of the transformer has a full-wave rectifier, which passes the pulse energy to the load in a continuous sequence. We investigated laser pulse shape and duration as various trigger time intervals of SCRs among three PFN modules. As a result, we can obtain laser beam with various pulse shapes and durations from about 250 $mutextrm{s}$ to 600 $mutextrm{s}$.

  • Single point diamond turning technique for optical crystals is studied in this paper. The main factors which are influential the machined surface quality are discovered and regularities of machining process are drawn. Optical crystals have found more and more important applications in the field of modern optics. Optical crystals are mostly brittle materials of poor machinability. The traditional machining method is polishing which has many shortcomings such as low production efficiency, poor ability to be automatically controlled and edge effect of the workpiece. The purpose of our research is to find the optimal machining conditions for ductile cutting of optical crystals and to apply the SPDT technique to the manufacturing of ultra precision optical components of brittle material(Ge). Many technical challenges are being tried for the large space infrared telescope, which is one of the major objectives of the National Strategic Technology Road Map (NSTRM).

  • Machining technique for optical crystals with single point diamond turning tool is reported in tills paper. The main factors influencing the machined surface quality are discovered and regularities of machining process are drawn. Optical crystals have found more and more important applications in the field of modern optics. Optical crystals are mostly brittle materials of poor machinability The traditional machining method is polishing which has many shortcomings such as low production efficiency, poor ability to be automatically controlled and edge effect of the workpiece. SPDT has been widely used in manufacturing optical reflectors of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper which are easy to be machined for their proper ductility. But optical crystals being discussed here are characterized by their high brittleness which makes it difficult to obtain high quality optical surfaces on them. The purpose of our research is to find the optimum machining conditions for ductile cutting of optical crystals and apply the SPDT technique to the manufacturing of ultra precision optical components of brittle materials. As a result, the cutting force is steady, the cutting force range is 0.05-0.08N. The surface roughness is good when spindle is above 1400rpm, and feed rate is small. The influence of depth of cut is very small.

  • With the gradual development of IT technology, voice phishing victims are increasing in number. In the past when only voice phone calls were made, personal information or financial information were stolen mainly by a direct phone call, but recently, as smart phones are widely in use, it is evolving into a way such as smishing that leads an access to a site with malicious codes spreading out. Since it is easy to run away after committing a crime, and trace are rarely left in case of voice phishing, it is difficult to find out criminal. In addition, it is most likely that a victim be would be exposed to further damage from another voice phishing. Its technique is growing in kinds and turning more intelligent day by day; Therefore, its victims are increasing in number. Previous researches mainly focused the area of legal studies while the factors exposed to voice phishing have not been made. Therefore, this study has analyzed the motifs in which voice phishing is done to draw out its outcomes as follows. First, a victim comes to trust the criminal by the factors of favorability, rare message, and mutuality. Second, the more sophisticated the technique of a criminal, the more likely a victim is exposed to voice phishing.
