  • The ZigBee is one of the most important technologies for composing USN. It is one of the IEEE 802.15.4 standards to support personal area networks. It uses a hierarchical routing or an on-demand route discovery strategy as an address allocation method. A hierarchical routing doesn't use a routing table but only uses a child node or a parent node as an intermediate node for data delivery. Therefore, the ZigBee network's topology greatly affects the overall network performance. In this paper, we propose a more trustworthy algorithm than only using the depth and widely variable LQI during network formation, and moreover we propose an algorithm to measure network's trustworthiness. We simulate our algorithm using the NS-2 and implement our network using the MG2400 ZigBee module for verifying performance.

  • While the current world wide network offers an incredibly rich base of information, it causes network management problem because users should have many independent IDs and passwords for accessing different sewers located in many places. In order to solve this problem users have employed single circle of trust(COT) ID management system, but it is still not sufficient for clearing the problem because the coming ubiquitous network computing environment will be integrated and complex networks combined with wired and wireless network devices. The purpose of this paper is to describe the employment and evaluation of federated ID interoperability method for solving the problem. The use of the proposed model can be a solution for solving network management problem in the age of mobile computing environment as well as wired network computing environment.

  • The connection between devices in Ad-hoc network a network based on trust. Because a temporary device frequently join or leave, the authentication and security technology should be prepared for malicious device of a third-party attacks. The authentication scheme with the existing certification and ID, and the security technology using symmetric key and the public key is used. Therefore, in this paper we proposed two devices not having shared information use to generate each other's authentication ID. The use of authentication ID can establish the mutual trust and, provide security and efficiency for communication uses to generate a symmetric key.

  • Recent advances in machine learning approaches such as deep neural network and reinforcement learning offer significant performance improvements in generating detailed and varied motions in physically simulated virtual environments. The optimization methods are highly attractive because it allows for less understanding of underlying physics or mechanisms even for high-dimensional subtle control problems. In this paper, we propose an efficient learning method for stochastic policy represented as deep neural networks so that agent can generate various energetic motions adaptively to the changes of tasks and states without losing interactivity and robustness. This strategy could be realized by our novel trajectory search method motivated by the trust region policy optimization method. Our value-based trajectory smoothing technique finds stably learnable trajectories without consulting neural network responses directly. This policy is set as a trust region of the artificial neural network, so that it can learn the desired motion quickly.

  • MANET has various vulnerability in wireless network and is more vulnerable in security because central management is not performed. In particular, routing attack may decrease performance of the overall network because the mobile node acts as a router. In this paper, we proposed authentication technique for improving the reliability of the network by increasing the integrity of the routing control packet and blocking effectively attacks that occur frequently in the inside. The proposed technique is consisted of two authentication methods of ZCN and N2N. ZCN authentication method is to elect CA nodes and monitor the role of the CA nodes. N2N authentication method is for an integrity check on the routing packets between nodes. Index key is determined by combining the hop count value to shared key table issued from CA in order to increase the robustness of the internal attack. Also, the overhead of key distribution was reduced by distributing a shared key to nodes certificated from CA. The excellent performance of the proposed method was confirmed through the comparison experiments.

  • Fraudulence, cheating, and deception can occur in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry, besides the difficulty in searching for and transferring properties while ensuring the operation is processed through an authoritative source in a trusted manner. Nowadays, real estate transactions use neutral third parties to sell land. Indeed, properties can be sold by the owners or third parties multiple times or without a proper deed. Moreover, third parties request a large amount of money to mediate between the seller and buyer. Methods: We propose a new framework that uses a private blockchain network and predefined BPMN instances to enable the fast and easy recording of deeds and their proprietary transfer management controlled by the government. The blockchain allows for multiple verifications of transactions by permitted parties called peers. It promotes transparency, privacy, trust, and commercial competition. Results: We demonstrated the easy adoption of blockchain for land registration and transfer. The paper presents a prototype of the implemented product that follows the proposed framework. Conclusion: The use of Blockchain-based solutions to resolve the current land registration and transfer issues is promising and will contribute to smart cities and digital governance.

  • The objective of this study is to provide a deeper understanding of the factors that lead to the development and adoption of AI-based chatbots. We analyze the structural relationship between the organizational (externalities), systematic (fit), and the consumer-related (psychological) factors and their role in the adoption of AI-based chatbots. Founded on the theories of task-technology fit and network externalities, we present a conceptual model overlooking common perception-based theories (e.g., Technology Acceptance Model). We collected 380 responses from Indian banking consumers to test the model using the PLS-SEM method. Interestingly, the findings present a positive impact of all factors on consumers' intention to adopt AI-based chatbots. However, the interplays between these factors provide a mixed perspective for literature. Apart from employing a combination of factors that have been used to study technology adoption, our study explores the importance of externalities and their relationship with fit factors, a unique outlook often overlooked by prior research. Moreover, we offer a clear understanding of latent variables such as trust, and the intricacies of their interplays in a novel context. Thereby, the study offers implications for literature and practice, followed by future research directions.

  • Secured and reliable routing is a crucial factor for improving the performance of Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) since these networks are susceptible to many types of attacks. The existing assumption about the internal nodes in wireless mesh networks is that they cooperate well during the forwarding of packets all the time. However, it is not always true due to the presence of malicious and mistrustful nodes. Hence, it is essential to establish a secure, reliable and stable route between a source node and a destination node in WMN. In this paper, a trust based secure routing algorithm is proposed for enhancing security and reliability of WMN, which contains cross layer and subject logic based reliable reputation scheme with security tag model for providing effective secured routing. This model uses only the trusted nodes with the forwarding reliability of data transmission and it isolates the malicious nodes from the providing path. Moreover, every node in this model is assigned with a security tag that is used for efficient authentication. Thus, by combining authentication, trust and subject logic, the proposed approach is capable of choosing the trusted nodes effectively to participate in forwarding the packets of trustful peer nodes successfully. The simulation results obtained from this work show that the proposed routing protocol provides optimal network performance in terms of security and packet delivery ratio.

  • Anonymity is the one of main reasons for substantial improvement of Internet. It encourages various users to express their opinion freely and helps Internet based distributed systems vitalize. But, anonymity can cause unexpected threats because personal information of an online user is hidden. Especially, distributed systems are threatened by Sybil attack, where one malicious user creates and manages multiple fake online identities. To prevent Sybil attack, the traditional solutions include increasing the complexity of identity generation and mapping online identities to real-world identities. But, even though the high complexity of identity generation increases the generation cost of Sybil identities, eventually they are generated and there is no further way to suppress their activity. Also, the mapping between online identities and real identities may cause high possibility of losing anonymity. Recently, some methods using online social network to prevent Sybil attack are researched. In this paper, a new method is proposed for extracting a user's system-wide Sybil-resistant trust value by using the properties embedded in online social network graphs. The proposed method can be categorized into 3 types based on sampling and decision strategies. By using graphs sampled from Facebook, the performance of the 3 types of the proposed method is evaluated. Moreover, the impact of Sybil attack on nodes with different characteristics is evaluated in order to understand the behavior of Sybil attack.
