  • Mobile agents based e-commerce system has many advantage than traditional e-commerce-information gathering on goods, price settlement and payment, delivery of the goods purchased, and so on. However, due to the security vulnerability that stems from mobile agent's mobility, mobile agents based e-commerce system has additional security problems. Therefore, in order to do e-commerce securely in th system, first of al the security issues on mobile agents must be addressed. It this paper, we propose a mobile agent transfer protocol that provides confidentiality and integrity of mobile agent in transit and mutual authentication for communicating hosts. We further show the security of the protocol against many possible attacks. Also, we suggest the location management mechanism of mobile agents based on the trust center. This mechanism is capable of finding their locations transparently and detecting mobile agent clones.

  • For the usage of the different standard technology among DRM vendors, the DRM technologies in today could not guarantee the interoperability between the digital contents and digital devices. While users have been guaranteed the protection of contents, they have to put up with the limitation and inconvenience. The Superdistribution methods that InterTrust has proposed is the content distribution technology which is possible to use the content only by the user authentication with the license regardless of the acquisition of the DRM contents. However, it need a additional license with re-authentication from DRM server when the original contents need to be moved to other devices from the own device. In this paper, to reduce the inconveniences of re-authentication and re-issue procedures of the license and continually to protect the rights of contents on the offline, we propose the DRM system that creates domain between home devices and enable users to freely transfer contents with the domain.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the relationship between transformational leadership(charisma, individual consideration, intellectual stimulation, inspiration) and knowledge management, and the moderating effect of social(trust and interaction) in small business. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data are gathered and analysed from 311 subjects in Kangwon-do province. Multiple regression and multiple hierarchical regression analysis were applied to test these hypotheses: 1) the relationship between transformational leadership and knowledge management, 2) the moderating effect of trust on the relationship between transformational leadership and knowledge management, 3) the moderating effect of interaction on the relationship between transformational leadership and knowledge management. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, individual consideration and inspiration leadership appeared to be positively related with all knowledge management(knowledge creation, transfer, application). Second, charisma was verified to be positively related with knowledge creation only. Third, charisma and inspirational leaderships were more positively with knowledge creation in higher trust group than in lower trust group. Fourth, intellectual stimulation and inspirational leaderships were more positively with knowledge creation in higher interaction group than in lower interaction group. Fifth, individual consideration was more positively with knowledge application in higher interaction group than in lower interaction group.

Directions in Promoting Independence in Operational Control (전시작전통제권 단독 행사 추진의 방향)

  • Former ministers of national defense and foreign affairs, intellectuals such as former and incumbent professors, and various NGO groups are demanding the South Korean government to stop promoting independence in operational control which is currently held by the United States Armed Forces in Korea commander. Although the Korea should exercise operational control independently in the future, orientation on the direction which should be taken under consideration in promoting this transfer should be assumed. First of all, South Korea must sufficiently examine the criticisms and dissenting opinions, and reflect them in promoting independence in operational control. From now on, the South Korean government should reflect the opinions of experts in operational control, and must promote the transfer with national consensus. Unilateral enforcement of the transfer may cause serious errors and aggravate conflicts Second, ROKA's exercise of independence in operational control should take place only after gaining restraint on North Korea's attack against the South, and the issues on nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction(WMD) has been resolved, and a peace regime has been reached. Furthermore, exercise of independence in wartime operational control should be promoted only if there is a guarantee that international trust and the military collaboration will be restored to a level beyond the present state. Third, the USFK and the Korean-US alliance is providing South Korea with national security, not to mention tremendous diplomatical, and economical benefits However, if the alliance between the two countries become weakened due to the exercise of the independence in operational control, we might suffer a great deal of loss. Even though reasonable justification and external independence may be gained through promoting independence in operational control, it should be promoted in a longitudinal manner because national security problems and conflicts may be intensified, and there is no actual profit in doing so. Fourth, if the Korean-US alliance becomes weakened and therefore the United States decides to discuss eastern-asia strategies, North Korea deterrence strategies, and Japanese rearmament issues with other neighboring countries, South Korea may become diplomatically isolated and a subordinate to surrounding countries, destroying the independence we have now instead of restoring it Therefore searching for means to reinforce international trust and collaboration between South Korea and the United States, and leaving ROKA’s independence in operational control as a long term objective would be a more realistic method.

  • Organizational culture provides organizational members with identity, homogeneity and behavioral guidance, and promotes organizational commitment and enhances the stability of social systems. What organizational culture positively influences organizational performance? In this study, we tried to categorize organizational culture as creativity, change, cooperation, trust and knowledge sharing for specific public institutions and to diagnose the organizational culture by examining the level of recognition of the organizational members. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational culture on organizational culture. The result of this study shows that the degree of future - oriented and cooperative culture of the public institutions that are the subject of research is not so high. In order to improve the performance of the organization, it is necessary to create a futuristic and cooperative culture. In order to create such a culture, various efforts must be made to continuously communicate and build trust among the members of the organization. In particular, leadership efforts to distribute, transfer, and trust authority to subordinates are a priority. In other words, it is very difficult to build a future-oriented, collaborative culture successfully without the efforts of managers.

Developing and Applying TMS-Based Collaborative Learning Model for Facilitating Learning Transfer (학습전이 촉진을 위한 교류기억체계(TMS)기반 협력학습모형의 개발과 적용)

  • Teachers expect team-based project learning to help students develop collaborative and real-world problem solving skills. In practice, however, students tend to solve problems with simple division of labor, and there is a tendency that learning transfer does not occur in solving problems. The purpose of this study is to develop a collaborative learning model based on the transactive memory system (TMS) and to verify its effectiveness. The collaborative learning model based on the TMS is composed of three stages. The first stage is developing TMS. In this stage, the students learn physics concepts and make knowledge about the expertise of group members through peer instruction. The second stage, activating TMS, is building trust through solving well-defined problems for developing near-transfer. And in the third stage, applying TMS, the students solve an ill-defined problem based on real-world context for practicing far-transfer. Based on this model, a 15-week program including two projects on geometric optics and sound waves was developed and applied to 60 college students. The data for five weeks of one project were collected and analyzed. As a result, the TMS of the experimental group with the TMS-based collaborative learning model improved stepwise. Whereas, the difference between the first week and the last week was statistically significant, while the TMS change of the comparison group using the general project learning model was not significant. Also, the experimental group showed that the learning transfer occurred better in the project than the comparison group. A collaborative learning model based on TMS can be used to learn how students gain synergy through collaboration and how students collaboratively transfer the learned concepts in problem solving.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 무용전승자들의 중요무형문화재보유자에 대한 신뢰가 전수만족 및 전수애착도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 있다. 이 연구는 2011년 중요무형문화재무용으로 지정된 7개 단체 보존회에 등록된 보존회원을 모집단으로 설정한 후 집락무선표집법을 이용하여 최종분석에 이용된 사례 수는 총 229명이다. SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값이 .829이상으로 나타났다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보유자신뢰는 전수만족에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 보유자신뢰가 높을수록 전수만족 또한 높아진다. 둘째, 보유자신뢰는 전수애착도에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 보유자신뢰가 높을수록 전수애착도 또한 높아진다. 셋째, 전수만족은 전수애착도에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 전수만족이 높을수록 전수애착도 또한 높아진다.

  • In the initial stage of a national economic development of China, the family business takes enterprise's organizational form ruling position. The private enterprise of China is mainly family business; the family makes the mainly proprietorship in other words. Even in the private enterprise after developing, 70 percents are managed as a family This paper start to study the Transferring Power Patterns in family business using the Company's Life Circle Theory and some other correlative theories. Based on the Transporting Power Model, the paper gives a comprehensive explanation for the choice of transferring power pattern in the family business of China.

  • This study investigated the degrees of knowledge management processes according to the levels of social capital(i.e., inter-departmental communication, trust, cooperation and integration) as well as information technology(IT) infrastructure(i.e., knowledge storage and transfer IT, and knowledge search IT) in Korean manufacturing firms. We also demonstrated the differences in organizational performance under various degrees of knowledge management processes. Through cluster analysis with social capital variables, we classified sample firms into five groups; 'the highest firms', 'higher firms', 'middle firms', 'lower firms', and 'the lowest firms'. It was also observed that the degrees of knowledge management processes and organizational performance in 'the highest firms' is the highest. With a structural equation modeling technique, the causal relationships among social capital, IT infrastructure, knowledge management processes, and organizational performance were confirmed. Hence, it is concluded that social capital and IT infrastructure have direct effects on knowledge management processes, and indirectly influence organizational performance through the degrees of knowledge management processes.
