독성물질 저감을 위한 TURA 도입방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Introduction of TURA for the Reduction Toxic Chemicals)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to review the Toxic UseReduction Act of Massachusetts, USA, which has been evaluated as a successfulcase of a chemical reduction policy, and to search for ways to introduce it inKorea. Methods: We analyzed the implementation of the TURA by attending TUR Planning Course of the Toxic Use Reduction Institute in Massachusetts and researching the related literature. Results: As TURA took effect, the use of chemicals in Massachusetts was reduced, and cost savings were achieved in workplaces. The success factors for the legislation are considered to be support form the federal and state governments and the active participation of business and civic group. Domestic efforts to reduce toxic substances have already begun, so if the process of TURA is appropriately applied to domestic legislation of chemicals control, it would be expected to produce visible results. Therefore, we reviewed the 'Act on Chemicals Registration and Assessment', 'Act on Chemical Control' and 'Act on the Integrated Control of Pollutant-Discharging Facilities' and sought solution for applying TURA to each piece of legislation. For the first case, 'Toxic or Hazardous Substance List' and 'Establishment of Toxic Use Fee' is applicable. For the second case, 'Annual Toxic or Hazardous Substance Reports' is applicable. For the third case, 'Toxic Reduction Plans' and 'Toxics Use Reduction Institute and 'Toxic Use Reduction Planners' is applicable. Conclusions: The government should take notice appropriateness for the reduction of toxic chemicals and provide financial support. Businesses should invest in technologies that build trust with local communities, improve productivity, and reduce costs. Finally, civic group should cooperate with government and businesses.

울릉분지 사암 내에 발달된 이팔면체 녹니석 - 스멕타이트 혼합층 광물 (Dioctahedral Chlorite-Smectite Mixed-Layer Minerals in the Sandstones of the Ulleung Basin, Offshore SE Korea)

  • 울릉분지 남부 대륙붕 석유탐사 시추공에서 회수된 사암 내에서 산출되는 녹니석-스멕타이트 혼합층 점토광물에 대하여 광물학적 및 화학적 연구를 수행하였다. X-선 회절분석과 화학분석 결과에 의하면 이 점토광물은 녹니석과 스멕타이트가 1:1 비율로 구성된 이팔면체형의 녹니석-스멕타이트 혼합층광물, 즉 토수다이트이다. 이 토수다이트는 Li가 풍부한 토수다이트로서 열수변질대에서 보고되는 토수다이트와 거의 동일하다. 이것은 토수다이트가 산출되는 지역은 열수변질과 관련된 열적 영향을 받았음을 지시한다. 실제로 이 시추공이 있는 지역은 단층과 습곡이 많이 발달되어 있고 구조적으로 변형되어 있다. 이와 같은 점을 고려할 때 하부로부터 열수가 올라와서 사암 내의 토수다이트의 생성에 기여했을 것으로 생각된다.

대전지역 주부의 친환경농산물 구매행동 (The Housewives' Purchase Behaviors on Environment-friendly Agricultural Products in Daejeon Area)

  • This study was to investigate the housewives' purchase behaviors on the environment-friendly agricultural products (EFAP) by survey in Daejeon area housewives. 390 questionnaires were used and analysed. Most of the subjects were female (92.6%) distributed evenly in their 40's (55.4%), and graduated from high school (43.6%) or college (36.4%). Subjects' occupation was most housewives (64.1%) and 77.4% of the subjects had monthly family income of 2 million won or more. 76.9% of the subjects had purchased EFAP already. The reason of purchasing EFAP was mainly "good for health" (80.3%), and reason for non-purchasing was "high prices" (28%) or "not so trustworthy" (25.6%). The most purchasing frequency was "once a week" (29%). 46.7% of the subjects spent 20% of their agricultural product cost for EFAP and 38.7% of them spent less than 30,000 won per month for EFAP. On checking of EFAP labeling, the housewives scored 3.59 for the validate date, 3.25 for the place of origin, 2.8 for the quality certification mark by 4-point Likert scale. 65.1% of the subject had intention to increase purchasing of EFAP in future. To promote the consumption of EFAP, the improvement factors were price-cutting (47.9%), trust on producers (18.2%) and quality betterment (17.7%). Accordingly, the consumers prefer EFAP for wellbeing health of families; however, they hesitate to buy due to their high price and the low reliability on producers of EFAP. Thus the producers and the related organization of EFAP should contrive proper countermeasures to increase consumer's satisfaction level on their credibility and price of EFAP.

온라인 커뮤니티 평가 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation System for On-line Community Service)

  • 온라인 커뮤니티는 사회성(Sociability)을 중심으로 구성되기 때문에 웹사이트 개발에 있어서도 사용성(Usability)측면과 함께 사회성(Sociability)측면이 같이 고려되어야 한다. 그러나 대부분의 온라인 커뮤니티들이 기존 웹사이트 개발 프로세스에 의해 개발되고 있어 사회성 요소를 고려한 개발이 어려운 실정이다. 평가시스템은 개발의 방향성을 제시하는 중요한 도구이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사회성 요소를 반영하는 커뮤니티 평가 시스템을 도입하여, 온라인 커뮤니티 평가를 위한 가이드 라인을 제시하고자 하였다. 먼저 온라인 커뮤니티를 이루는 12가지 사회성요소를 바탕으로 평가 요소를 도출하고, 실제 운영되고 있는 대표적인 커뮤니티 사이트를 유형별로 선정하여 평가를 실시하였다. 결과적으로 온라인 커뮤니티 서비스를 8가지로 유형화하여 유형별 사회성 요소의 활성화 정도를 도출해 낼 수 있었다. 본 평가를 통하여 도출된 유형별 사회성 활성화 수치는 기존 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트를 평가할 수 있는 가이드라인이 될 수 있으며, 개선 방향을 제시하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

방사선조사 식품의 국민이해 연구 - '인상(impression)'의 차이와 정보제공효과를 중심으로 - (The Korean Public Understanding of Irradiated Food)

  • The main purposes of this study are to know the contents and forms of impressions that the general public, and the consumerists and environmentalists have of irradiated food, and to know what information of irradiated food influences their impressions. Other purposes are to know what sources those impressions derive from, to know which media they have recently been exposed to and paid attention to irradiated food through, to know which sources they trust of information regarding irradiated food most greatly, and finally to suggest policies and strategies of communication in order to shed positive impressions of irradiated food on people. This study was conducted through the person-to-person interview survey toward 1,200 adults, and 150 consumerists and environmentalists in 1999. Adults are sampled nationally in South Korea. Only 8.7% of the general public have heard of irradiated food. Impressions of irradiated food that the general public mentioned most frequently are: harmful, insecure, negative, etc. The consumerists and environmentalists were found to have the most inaccurate knowledge of irradiated food. Television and newspaper were the major sources of impressions of, exposure to and focus of attention on irradiated food. Based on these results, we seem to devise methods to enhance impression of irradiated food by disseminating information of advantages and benefits that irradiation provides food with and to promote the fact that irradiation on food is totally irrelevant to being radioactive, danger of a nuclear power plant, genetically modifying food, etc.

ELiSyR: Efficient, Lightweight and Sybil-Resilient File Search in P2P Networks

  • Peer-to-peer (P2P) networks consume the most bandwidth in the current Internet and file sharing accounts for the majority of the P2P traffic. Thus it is important for a P2P file sharing application to be efficient in bandwidth consumption. Bandwidth consumption as much as downloaded file sizes is inevitable, but those in file search and bad downloads, e.g. wrong, corrupted, or malicious file downloads, are overheads. In this paper, we target to reduce these overheads even in the presence of high volume of malicious users and their bad files. Sybil attacks are the example of such hostile environment. Sybil attacker creates a large number of identities (Sybil nodes) and unfairly influences the system. When a large portion of the system is subverted, either in terms of the number of users or the number of files shared in the system, the overheads due to the bad downloads rapidly increase. We propose ELiSyR, a file search protocol that can tolerate such a hostile environment. ELiSyR uses social networks for P2P file search and finds benign files in 71% of searches even when more than half of the users are malicious. Furthermore, ELiSyR provides similar success with less bandwidth than other general efforts against Sybil attacks. We compare our algorithm to SybilGuard, SybilLimit and EigenTrust in terms of bandwidth consumption and the likelihood of bad downloads. Our algorithm shows lower bandwidth consumption, similar chances of bad downloads and fairer distribution of computation loads than these general efforts. In return, our algorithm takes more rounds of search than them. However the time required for search is usually much less than the time required for downloads, so the delay in search is justifiable compared to the cost of bad downloads and subsequent re-search and downloads.

의료기관에서 리더십과 조직문화가 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -치과의원 중심으로- (The Effect of Leadership and Organizational Culture on Organizational Effectiveness : A Dental Clinics-Based Study)

  • This study aims to explore how the transformational leadership (consisting of three factors"charisma, individualized consideration, and intellectual stimulation) and the organizational culture (typified by developmental, rational, consensual, and hierarchical culture) are related to the organizational effectiveness (consisting of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intention to leave a job) of dental clinics. We found the following empirical results through a survey of 378 persons who work in dental clinics. Firstly, the respondents acknowledged charismatic leadership as the typical type of leadership ; as for organizational culture, a culture of consensus is recognized as the representative type. Secondly, transformational leadership has different effects according to the type of organizational culture: a positive influence in developmental and rational cultures, but a negative influence in consensual and hierarchical cultures. Thirdly, developmental culture has proven to be the most suitable for increasing job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The developmental, rational, and consensual cultures have all contributed to reducing intention to leave among clinic staff, whereas in the hierarchical culture, intention has been elevated. Fourthly, transformational leadership has a positive effect on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment; the intent to leave has been lessened under individualized consideration and charismatic leadership, but has been increased under leadership of intellectual stimulation. Fifthly, it is consideration and charisma that help to increase organizational effectiveness. These influences will become more effective through a developmental culture. Based on the above empirical results, we propose practical measures to improve the organizational effectiveness of clinics, in particular dental clinics. In order to build developmental culture, the doctor (manager) should produce an atmosphere in the clinic in which staff members are able to create and jointly own ideas and then promote awareness of staff participation. Additionally, in order to bring leadership of charisma and consideration into full play, the doctor should shape a relationship of mutual trust mainly by recognizing and praising the work of clinic staff. Finally, the doctor needs to acknowledge that organizational effectiveness can be significantly improved by increasing the transparency of the business.

입원환자 데이터를 이용한 예약부도환자 이탈방지 모형 연구 (Informally Patients Prediction Model of Admission Patients)

  • 본 병원에 축적된 의무기록과 데이터베이스에 있는 퇴원 환자 정보를 이용하여 이탈에 영향을 미치는 특성을 파악하여 활용 가능한 예측모형을 제시하고자 한다. 외래진료 방문환자 3,503명 중 충성고객 2,118명 60.5%, 이탈 고객 1,385명 39.5%을 추출하여 분석에 사용하였다. 생존한 변수는 성별, 연령(연령대), 지역, 보험구분, 입원경로, 진료과, 퇴원과, 퇴원형태, 협진여부, 수술여부, 진료예약여부, 환자구분을 기반으로 예측모형을 만들었다. 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 66.0%의 정확도를 나타냈고, 신경망을 통하여 예측한 결과 분석용 결과는 정분율은 69.79%이고, 검정용 결과 정분율은 63.64%였다. CHAID를 통하여 예측한 결과 분석용 결과 정분율을 83.75% 이고, 검정용 결과 정분율은 42.74%였다. 예측 모형을 활용한 이탈고객을 위한 관리와 병원의 신뢰를 높여야 할 것이다.

다중운집행사의 안전 확보를 위한 경찰개입 인식조사 (Survey for the Police Service about Mass Rally)

  • 이 연구는 다중운집행사의 안전 확보를 위한 경찰개입에 대하여 시민들이 느끼는 인식을 조사하는 연구로서 다중운집행사에서 시민들의 요구와 민간경비에 대한 신뢰수준을 판단하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 연구이다. 최근 들어, 시민들의 여가에 대한 요구가 증가함에 따라 다중운집행사를 개최하는 빈도가 높아지고 있다. 이러한 다중운집행사는 많은 사람들이 제한된 장소에 집중적으로 모여들기 때문에 사소한 문제가 심각한 위협으로 피해가 증가하는 경우가 많다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 많은 경찰력이 동원되고 있으나 경찰동원에 대한 시민들의 만족수준을 파악하지 못하여 과도한 경비로 행사에 영향을 주는 경우가 종종 발생하였다. 이러한 문제에 대하여 이 연구에서는 시민들이 요구하는 다중운집행사에 대한 경찰개입 수준에 대한 설문조사를 통하여 시민들의 요구수준에 대하여 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 많은 시민들이 다중운집행사에서 안전총괄 책임자는 경찰이라는 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 다중운집행사에서 안전 확보를 위하여 경찰의 채용이 늘어야한다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 다중운집행사의 안전 확보를 위하여 경찰이 더 많이 참여해야 한다고 생각하는 것으로 나탔으며, 민간경비의 역할에 대하여 크게 신뢰하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The differentiators of this study are as follows. I would like to consider the factors that the compensation, considering the characteristics of the members of the ICT construction company, affects the turnover and suggest ways to promote the welfare of ICT construction company members in the fourth industrial revolution. The purpose of this study is to look at how perceived compensation affects the degree of turnover by members of small ICT construction companies through organizational Commitment and job placement. Specifically, the independent variable looks at the causal relationship between organizational civic behavior and organizational trust through Turnover intention. First, in the fourth industrial revolution, the management of the tasks of members of ICT construction companies was found to have a positive impact on their organizational immersion and job alignment. Second, in the fourth industrial revolution, the management of wages by members of ICT construction companies was found to have a positive impact on organizational immersion and job alignment. Third, in the fourth industrial revolution, the promotion management of members of ICT construction companies did not have a positive impact on their organizational immersion and job alignment Fourth, in the fourth industrial revolution, the concentration of members of ICT construction companies' organization is found to have a positive influence on turnover. Fifth, in the fourth industrial revolution, the job alignment of members of ICT construction companies was found to have a positive impact on turnover.
