  • There are many papers about the 7th curriculum. According to those papers, the 7th curriculum is a new one which makes considerable change in mathematics education. But there are some problems in the 7th curriculum. In this paper, we discuss those problems at first. That is, the 30% reduction of mathematics contents may not be true, and there are some problems about the terms, symbols, and consistency in mathematics contents. We also consider some problems in mathematics textbooks itself and the mathematics textbook authorization under the 7th curriculum. We suggest that (1) there must be valid process in passage of mathematics contents, (2) we must give emphasis on the process - particularly, the teaching of basic concept or principles - rather than the result, (3) we must have guarantee of the equity in the mathematics textbook authorization.

  • According to the result obtained by the CIA analysis(A-CN-K and A-CNK-FM ternary diagram), the chemical weathering of granitic grus in Chuncheon basin is too weak, thus calcium and sodium may not be dissolved sufficiently, but go as far as to be more progress than that of Yeongju-Bonghwa basin, Jeongeup, Nonsan and Namwon, common granitic grus in Korean Peninsula. Therefore the chemical characteristics of granitic hills in Chuncheon basin show that granitic weathered mantles are not saprolite formed by alteration while this may be true for guns(sandy weathered mantles). The weathered mantles of inner hills in the basin is slightly altered, footslope of mountains are more altered, and footslope hills are undergone some alteration. But their alteration doesn't show any advances to saprolite, and most of them are still in incipient weathering stage.

  • The present fractional-order plasticity models for granular soil are mainly established under the triaxial compression condition, due to its difficult in analytically solving the fractional differentiation of the third stress invariant, e.g., Lode's angle. To solve this problem, a three dimensional fractional-order elastoplastic model based on the transformed stress method, which does not rely on the analytical solution of the Lode's angle, is proposed. A nonassociated plastic flow rule is derived by conducting the fractional derivative of the yielding function with respect to the stress tensor in the transformed stress space. All the model parameters can be easily determined by using laboratory test. The performance of this 3D model is then verified by simulating multi series of true triaxial test results of rockfill.

  • Purpose: Fire response education is critical for healthcare providers working in hospitals to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. However, a comprehensive review that thoroughly examines the contents, methodologies, and outcomes of fire response education in hospitals is currently lacking. Methods: We conducted a scoping review by adhering to the framework proposed by Arksey and O'Malley. We searched five electronic databases for literature published after 1990, using the key categories of "hospitals," "fires," and "education." As a result, we identified 15 relevant articles that met our inclusion criteria for the review. Results: Of the 15 articles, 12 had adopted a quasi-experimental design and the remaining 3 had employed a true experimental design. The majority of these studies (11 out of 15) were conducted in the United States, with 4 studies forming committees or teams dedicated to education. Simulation methods were used in 13 studies, while 2 studies had employed a combination of methods. All studies focused on first-response procedures based on RACE (Rescue, Alarm, Contain, Extinguish/Evacuation). Outcome measures included the learners' overall experience, performance in the educational settings, and performance in the field, with all studies reporting positive results following the educational interventions. Conclusion: Our review highlights the importance of multi-professional and multi-departmental educational strategies based on institutional-level initiatives for healthcare providers to create a safe hospital environment.

  • In this paper we investigate the qualitative behaviour of numerical approximation to a class delay differential equation. We consider the numerical solution of the delay differential equations undergoing a Hopf bifurcation. We prove the numerical approximation of delay differential equation had a Hopf bifurcation point if the true solution does.

  • In this paper we investigate the conditions for derivations under which the Singer-Wermer theorem is true for noncommutative Banach algebra A such that either [[D(x),xD(x)] ${\in}$ rad(A) for all $x{\in}$A or $D(x)^2$x+xD(x))$^2$${\in}$rad(A) for all $x{\in}$A, where rad(A) is the Jacobson radical of A, then $D(A){\subseteq}$rad(A).

  • In this note, we get the conditions such that strong continuity ${\Rightarrow}$ weak continuity plus interiority condition( wc+ic), and continuity ${\Rightarrow}$ wc+ic are true. And we investigate some equivalent conditions with weak continuity, some properties of weak continuity. And we show that almost compactness is preserved by weakly continuous function, and we improve some known results with respect to strong continuity.

  • We define the convolutions of Fourier hyperfunctions and show that every strongly decreasing Fourier hyperfunction is a convolutor for the space of Fourier hyperfunctions and the converse is true. Also we show that there are no differential operator with constant coefficients which have a fundamental solution in the space of strongly decreasing Fourier hyperfunctions. Lastly we show that the space of multipliers for the space of Fourier hyperfunctions consists of analytic functions extended to any strip in $\mathbb{C}^n$ which are estimated with a special exponential function exp$(\mu|\chi|)$.

  • This paper present the global generalized cross validation as the appropriate choice of the regularization parameter in the preconditioned Gl-LSQR method in solving image deblurring problems. The regularization parameter, chosen from the global generalized cross validation, with preconditioned Gl-LSQR method can give better reconstructions of the true image than other parameters considered in this study.

  • The purpose of this article is primarily to give prominence to the importance of International Business English education. Although English is one of the most crucial parts in international business transaction it has not been treated as one of academical sciences. As English is a main language when the international business transaction is done International Business English should be studied by scholars who majored in international business area. It is true that there has been no study at all regarding International Business English(in this article, it does not mean General International Business English) so far. Anyone who does and learn the international business should have some opportunities to have a contact towards international business correspondence and other documents before they do in reality. However, in Korea, most English education has been focused on general English and English certificate tests at universities. At universities' level, it is certainly a scholars' task to study International Business English education in order to provide decent education to the students. For doing so, this article examine, focusing only on reading part, how International Business English should be taught and especially, how reading skills should be activated and integrated with other language skills. This objective will be fulfilled by asking, what reading means in International Business English, as well as what role reading plays in International Business English education.
