장기간의 신체 단련에 따른 체지방, 심폐기능 및 혈액화학상의 변화 (Changes of Body Fat Contents, Cardiopulmonary Functions and Some Blood Constituents by Long-Term Physical Training)

  • 줄넘기 운동의 신체 단련 효과를 측정하기 위하여 사병 9명에게 9주동안 규칙적으로 줄넘기 운동을 시킨 후 체격, 심폐기능, 혈액화학적인 변화를 관찰, 단련전과 비교하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 효과를 검사하기 위해 부하한 운동은 트레드밀 달리기 운동이었다. 1) 단련에 의해 몸무게, 체표넓이, 피부두겹두께 및 총지방량이 유의하게 감소하였다. 2) 안정시 폐기능검사 값 중 최대환기능과 노력성 호기유속 25%가 단련후에 유의하게 증가하였다. 3) 심장박동수는 단련에 의해 안정시와 운동시, 회복기 전 시간대를 통해 매우 유의하게 증가하였다. 4) 단련으로 수축기 동맥혈압은 안정시와 회복기 전 시간대에서 거의 유의하게 감소한 반면, 이완기 동맥혈압은 회복기 전체를 통해 유의하게 증가하였다. 5) 안정시와회복기의 호흡회수는 단련에 의해 변화가 없었다. 6) 안정시와 회복 초기의 혈중 총 콜레스테롤 농도는 단련 후에 유의하게 감소하였지만 혈당, HDL-콜레스테롤 농도는 약간의감소에 그쳤다. 7) 단련전에 비해 단련후의 혈중 젖산 농도는 회복기에 대체로 감소하엿고 20분과 60분 값의 감소는 뚜렷하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 9주 동안의 규칙적인 줄넘기 운동으로 체내 지방이 감소하고 순환기계 기능에 뚜렷한 향상을 가져오며 혈액화학적인 변화가 생긴다고 할 수 있겠다.

심장재활 프로그램이 허혈성 심장환자의 건강행위 이행, 심혈관 기능 및 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Cardiac Rehabilitation Program on Health Behavior Compliance, Cardiovascular Function, and Quality of Life for the Patients with Ischemic Heart Disease)

  • This study is aimed at developing a cardiac rehabilitation program and enlightening the effects of the program on patient's health behavior compliance, cardiovascular functional capacity, and quality of life. Using a quasi-experimental approach the nonequivalent control group pretest - posttest design was accepted for this study. The subjects of this study consisted of 55 patients with ischemic heart disease at the Cardiac Center of 'G' Hospital located in Inchon from May 1, 1998 to April 30, 1999. The patients were divided into two groups: the experimental group, which participated in the cardiac program with 30 patients and 25 patients of a control group were not involved in the program. There were two phases in the cardiac rehabilitation program: the first phase was a team approach education. It focused on reducing the risk of ischemic heart problems. The second phase was individual training by using a home based exercise program, which was comprised of 8 weeks, three sessions per week, 40-60 minutes per session, and followed by consultation. Every session involved 20-40 minutes of aerobic exercise at 40-60% of heart rate reserve, 11∼13 RPE and 10 minutes of warm-up and 10 minutes of cool-down exercises. The experimental tools for the study were the health behavior compliance scale developed by Lee, Yoon-hee (1992), and quality of life scale developed by McGirr et al.(1990). RPPsubmax were measured by the treadmill. The collected data was processed by SPSS and analyzed by χ²test and t-test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The health behavior compliance in experimental group was significantly increased (t=5.091, p=.000) when compared to the control group. 2. RPPsubmax also decreased significantly in the experimental group when compared to the control group(t=-2.109, p=.040). 3. The quality of life significantly improved in the experimental group (t=3.853, p=.000) as compared to the control group. As the above results of this study revealed, the effectiveness of the cardiac rehabilitation program of the study was confirmed. It increased the health behavior compliance for reducing the risk of further coronary events, enhanced the cardiovascular functional capacity, and eventually improved the patient's quality of life.

매실 추출물 섭취가 에너지기질 및 피로물질 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Prunus Mume Supplementation on Energy Substrate Levels and Fatigue Induction Factors)

  • 이상의 연구결과를 종합해볼 때, 매실투여로 인해 젖산, 암모니아, 무기인산과 같은 피로물질의 축적은 감소되고, 혈중 글루코스 수치는 감소한 반면 유리지방산 농도는 증가했다. 피로는 일반적으로 피로물질의 축적과 에너지기질의 고갈로 인해 발생한다. 매실에 포함되어 있는 citric acid는 피로회복의 역할로 가장 널리 알려져 있으며, 본 연구를 통해 매실 섭취가 운동이 진행됨에 따라 산성화되어 가는 인체를 약알칼리로 유지하게 하여 pH 감소를 억제함으로 혈중 피로물질들의 낮은 농도를 가져온 것으로 보인다. 또한 글리코겐 결핍이 citric acid cycle 중간물들의 고갈을 통한 피로 발전과 연관되어질 수 있는데, 매실에 함유된 citric acid가 글리코겐 고갈을 지연시키고 반면에 유리지방산을 많이 사용하게 함으로 피로물질의 적은 축적을 가져온 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 매실이 운동 시 발생하는 에너지 기질 이용과 혈중 피로물질들의 축적에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 매실이 운동에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 매실만을 투여하였으며, 매실 섭취가 운동에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결론을 얻었으므로 운동 시 다양하게 적용할 수 있으리라 기대할 수 있다. 그러나 본 연구에서 사용한 매실투여량과 다른 매실투여 관련 연구들 및 시중에서 판매되는 매실음료의 함량 사이에는 차이가 발생한다. 이에 매실의 최적의 효과를 위한 투여량이 결정될 필요가 있으며 이와 관련된 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다. 또한, 매실이 에르고제닉 에이드로써 활용되기 위해서 다양한 운동 및 훈련 조건에서의 과학적 자료가 확립될 필요가 있다고 본다.

4주간의 지구성 트레이닝과 thiamine 섭취가 골격근 내 PDH 활성에 미치는 영향 (The effect of thiamine and endurance training of 4weeks for PDH activity in skeletal muscle)

  • 본 연구는 지구성 트레이닝과 thiamine(thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide: TTFD)의 투여가 골격근 내 글리코겐과 PDH(Pyruvate dehydrogenase), 그리고 PDH 활성에 관여하는 효소의 단백질인 PDK4(Pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 4)와 PDP1(PDH phosphatase 1)의 발현에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 6주령의 ICR 마우스를 대상으로 비운동집단(Sedentary; CON, TH), 운동집단(Exercise; EX, THEX)으로 나누어 4주간의 지구성 트레이닝과 체중 kg 당 50 mg의 thiamine을 경구투여 하였다. 4주간의 지구성 트레이닝은 간과 근육 내 glycogen의 저장량에 유의한 증가가 나타났지만 thiamine 투여에 따르는 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 마찬가지로 골격근 내 PDH와 PDH 조절에 관련한 PDK4, PDP1의 단백질 발현을 측정한 결과 4주간의 지구성 트레이닝에 따르는 효과는 관찰되었지만, thiamine 투여에 집단간 유의한 효과는 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 장기간 지구성 트레이닝에 따른 골격근의 적응으로 인하여 thiamine 투여에 따른 시너지 효과가 나타나지 않은 것으로 보인다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 지구성 트레이닝의 기간을 고려한 thiamine의 섭취 타이밍 그리고 탄수화물의 복합투여에 따른 PDH와 관련 단백질의 분석이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

엘리트 선수들의 운동특성에 따른 20 m 셔틀런 검사의 유용성 (The availability for cardiorespiratory fitness measurement by 20 m shuttle run test in different sports type of elite athletes. Exercise Science)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 엘리트 선수들의 에너지 기여비율에 기인된 종목특성에 따른 20 m 셔틀런 검사를 이용한 심페지구력 측정의 유용성을 평가하는데 있다. 본 연구에 참여자는 K 국립체육대학교에 재학중인 학생 67명을 대상으로 하였으며, 종목 특성은 무산소성종목(단거리, 도약, 역도, 투척; 35명), 유산소성 종목(중장거리; 9명), 투기종목(유도; 23명)으로 3집단을 구성하였다. 20 m 셔틀런 검사는 Leger et al.(1982)방법을 이용하였으며, 측정된 셔틀런 횟수를 이용한 가속도 산출은 Brewer et al.(1988) 방법을 이용하였다. 유용성 평가를 위한 VO2max 준거검사는 트레이드밀을 이용한 점증부하 방법을 실시하였으며, 순발력 체력요인은 제자리멀리뛰기와 50 m 달리기를 이용하였다. 순발력, 민첩성, 근지구력을 고려한 체력요인은 Z-점프를 측정하였다. 종목별 체력특성차이는 제자리멀리뛰기와 50 m 달리기에서 무산소성 집단(Anaerobic Group; AnG)이 유산소성집단(Aerobic Group; AeG)과 투기종목집단(Combat Sport Group; CG)에 비해 유의하게 높았다(p<.05). 하지만 Z-점프는 CG가 AnG와 AeG에 비해 유의하게 높았다(p<.05). 20 m 셔틀런 검사결과와 VO2max관련성은 AnG(r= 0.577, p<.0001)와 CG(r= 0.760, p<.0001)에서 유의하게 높은 상관계수를 나타내었으나 AeG는 낮은 상관계수를 나타내었다. 20-셔틀런검사의 유용성평가를 위한 집단간 차이는 20 m 셔틀런 검사결과를 VO2max로 전환하였을 때 집단 간 차이가 없었으며 오차가 감소하는 것을 발견하였다. 우리는 이번 연구에서 20 m 셔틀런 검사의 유용성을 판단하였으며 셔틀런 검사횟수를 이용한 VO2max 산출에 따른 오차가 감소하는 것으로 나타나 현장 활용적인 측면에서 셔틀런 검사를 종목 구분 없이 보편적으로 이용하기 위해 VO2max전환의 필요성을 확인할 수 있었다.

가시오가피를 이용한 기능성 건강음료의 제조 (Preparation of Functional Healthy Drinks by Acanthopanax senticosus Extracts)

  • 본 연구에서는 가시오가피 줄기를 이용하여 농축액을 제조한 후 운동수행능력 증진 효과를 확인하고, 관능검사를 통해 가시오가피의 유용한 기능적인 특성을 살린 기호성 있는 건강 음료를 제조한 후 그 품질 특성을 조사하여 가공식품 및 식품소재로서 가시오가피의 활용도를 높이기 위한 기초 연구 자료로 제시하고자 하였다. 본 실험에서 사용한 건가시오가피 줄기의 일반성분 분석 결과 수분함량 $6.50{\pm}0.12%$, 조단백질 $5.89{\pm}0.16%$, 조지방 $1.18{\pm}0.11%$, 조회분 $3.03{\pm}0.40%$로 나타났다. 건가시오가피 줄기 추출물을 이용하여 제조한 가시오가피 농축액의 DPPH 라디칼 소거능은 증류수로 희석한 10% 농축액에서 $87.42{\pm}1.63%$로 나타나 positive control인 butylated hydroxy anisole (BHA) 1%의 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성 $88.65{\pm}2.42%$와 비슷한 수준으로 높은 활성을 보였으며, 최대운동수행능력을 측정한 결과 가시오가피 농축액을 섭취한 생쥐에서 대조군 생쥐에 비해 농도 의존적으로 운동수행 거리와 시간이 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 관능검사를 통해 선호도가 가장 높은 가시오가피 음료를 제조하여 그 특성을 확인한 결과 당도는 $14.9^{\circ}Brix$, pH는 4.51, 색도는 L값(명도) -62.70, a값(적색도) 3.67, b값(황색도) -6.12로 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 가시오가피 농축액을 이용한 기호도가 증진된 기능성 음료로의 개발이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

작업 강도가 방진 마스크의 밀착도와 감성품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Work Intensity on Fit Factor and Affecive Quality of Dustproof Mask)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of work intensity on fit factor and affective quality of the dustproof Background: Among the victims who suffer pneumoconiosis due to the inhalation of toxic substances or the lack of oxygen during the work, the proportion of the victims is larger than the other causes. Wearing a respirator may prevent pneumoconiosis, but it can be hazardous to workers because of the leakage through filters, cartridges, exhaust valves, broken parts, and face-to-face contact. Despite leakage through the contact area between the mask and the face has various causes such as the wearer's activity, sweat accumulation, facial shape, etc., There is a lack of relevant research and regulation compared to developed countries that have already institutionalized the law 30 years ago and give the right to sell through a test Method: The work intensity was adjusted by walking or running at 6km/h and 11km/h on the treadmill, and tasks were defined with reference to the test procedure and the exercise sequence applied in the face leakage test of the dustproof mask. And fit factor was measured objectively using 'Respirator Fit Tester 8038' which measures fit factor calculated by dividing the number of dust present outside the mask by inside the mask. In addition, affective quality was classified by the ease of use, ease of breathing, and ease of wearing, and was measured using the 5-point likert scale questionnaire. Results: There was a significant difference in fit factor, ease of breathing, and wearing convenience according to work intensity and no significant difference in ease of use(${\alpha}=0.01$). And when the work intensity was high, fit factor, ease of breathing, and wearing convenience were all lower than when the work intensity was low. Conclusion: In Korea, it is necessary to consider consideration of the work intensity when testing the leakage rate of the face part for safety certification of the respiratory protective equipment, When developing a mask, it should be possible to maintain high adhesion even under intense, active situation and high temperature conditions by selecting materials, improving the wearing style, and expanding the adjustable range.

흥분독성 소뇌손상 백서모델에서 운동기술학습이 균형 및 협응력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Motor Skill Learning on Balance and Coordination in Excitoxicity Induced Cerebellar Injury Model of Rat)

  • Purpose : This study is intended to examine the motor skill learning on balance and coordination in the cerebellar injured rats by 3AP. Methods : This study selected 60 Sprague-Dawley rats of 8 weeks. Experiment groups were divided into four groups and assigned 15 rats to each group. Group I was a normal control group(induced by saline); Group II was a experimental control group(cerebellar injured by 3AP); Group III was a group of motor skill learning after cerebellar injured by 3AP; Group IV was a group of treadmill exercise after cerebellar injured by 3AP. In each group, motor performance test, histologic observations, synaptophysin expression and electron microscopy observation were analyzed. Results : In motor performance test, the outcome of group II was significantly lower than the group III, IV(especially group III)(p<.001). In histological finding, the experimental groups were destroy of dendrities and nucleus of cerebellar neurons. Group III, IV were decreased in degeneration of cerebellar neurons(especially group III). In immunohistochemistric response of synaptophysin in cerebellar cortex, experimental groups were decreased than group I. Group III's expression of synaptophysin was more increased than group II, IV. In electron microscopy finding, the experimental groups were degenerated of Purkinje cell. Conclusion : These result suggest that improved motor performance by motor skill learning after harmaline induced is associated with dynamically altered expression of synaptophysin in cerebellar cortex and that is related with synaptic plasticity.

짐나르기의 에너지 소요량 (Energy cost of loads carried on the hands, head, or feet)

  • Oxygen consumption, pulmonary ventilation, heart rate, and breathing frequency were measured on 8 men walking on a treadmill carrying load of 9 kg on hand, back, or head. Besides measurements were made on subjects carrying loads of 2.6 kg each on both feet. The speed of level walking was 4, 5, and 5.5km/hr and a fixed speed off km/hr with grades of 0, 3, 6, and 9%. Comparisons were made between free walking without load and walking with various types of loads. The following results were obtained. 1. In level or uphill walking the changes in oxygen consumption, pulmonary ventilation, breathing frequency and heart rate were smallest in back load walking, and largest in hand load walking. The method of back load was most efficient and hand load was the least efficient. The energy cost in head load walking was smaller than that of in hand load walking. It was assumed that foot load costed more energy than hand load. 2. In level walking the measured parameters increased abruptly at the speed of 5.5 km/hr. Oxygen consumption in a free walking at 4 km/hr was 11.4ml/kg b.wt., and 13.1 ml/kg b.wt. 5.5 km/hr, and in a hand load walking at 4 km/hr was 13.9, and 18.8 ml/kg b. wt. at 5.5 km/hr. 3. In uphill walking oxygen consumption and other parameters increased abruptly at the grade of 6%. Oxygen consumption at 4 km/hr and 0% grade was 11.4 ml/kg b. wt., 13.6 at 6% grade, and 16.21/kg b. wt. at 9% grade in a free walking. In back load walking oxygen consumption at 4km/hr and 0% grade was 12.3 ml/kg b.wt.,14.9 at 6% grade, and 18.7 ml/kg b.wt. In hand load walking the oxygen consumption was the greatest, namely, 13.9 at 0% grade, 17.9 at 6%, and 20.0 ml/kg b. wt. at 9% grade. 4. Both in level and uphill walking the changes in pulmonary ventilation and heart rate paralleled with oxygen consumption. 5. The changes in heart rate and breathing frequency in hand load were characteristic. Both in level and uphill walk breathing frequency increased to 30 per minute when a load was held on hand and showed a small increase as the exercise became severe. In the other method of load carrying the Peak value of breathing frequency was less than 30 Per minute. Heart rate showed 106 beats/minute even at a speed of 4 km/hr when a load was held on hand, whereas, heart rate was between, 53 and 100 beats/minute in the other types of load carriage. 6. Number of strides per minute in level walking increased as the speed increased. At the speed floater than 5 km/hr number of strides per minute of load carrying walk was greater than that of free walking. In uphill walk number of strides per minute decreased as the grade increased. Number of strides in hand load walk was greatest and back load walk showed the same number of strides as the free walk.

족저근막염 환자의 미세전류발생 신발 착용이 족부 근피로 및 통증 완화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Induced Microcurrent Shoes on Fatigue and Pain in Painful Foot to Patients with Plantar Fascitis)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate how induced microcurrent shoes affect relief of feet pain, which often occurs to persons who are more than fifty years old and how they prevent fatigue of feet generated during everyday life. The subjects of this study were comprised af five males and five females, who agreed with this research and ate more than fifty years old. And they all have plantar faciitis and pain in their feet. Methods: Subjects ware the induced microcurrent shoes far more than 4 hours everyday during the test. When they wore those shoes, they also wore the specially produced shacks made of silver-mixed thread and they were asked to avoid serious exercise. Prior to starting test and after the test, assessments were carried out two times. In the examination before the test, general shoes were used and in examination after the test, induced microcurrent shoes used. Muscle fatigue was measured by electromyography(MP150, Biopac, USA). When the walking rate of subjects on a treadmill was increased from 2.Km/h to 3Km/h for 10 minutes, muscle activities of a lower leg were measured during the whale walking process by MP150 remote monitoring system(TEL 100C). And pain was measured by VAS. Results: The results are as follows. 1. Comparisons of VAS before and after experimentation showed that degree of pain was significantly decreased(p < .05). 2. Degree of fatigue of Tibialis anterior was significantly decreased after 6 weeks of treatment(p < .05). 3. Degree of fatigue of Soleus was slightly decreased after 6 weeks of treatment, but did not show significant difference (p > .05). Conclusion: The above results suggest that induced microcurrent shoes is helpful decreasing fatigue of feet and relief of feet pain.
