가로주행식 케미게이션 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Linear Chemigation System)

  • A linear chemigation system, integrating agrichemical appication units of pesticide and fertilizer into an irrigation system, was selected as a suitable model for the cost savings in farm management and automation. Technical designs were conducted in the areas of structure, power, drive, control, and hydraulic systems. An experimental farm was sectioned into the fields of 40m by 200m and systemized with the linear-move chemigation system of 36m in span. The chemigation system consisted of a base unit monitoring and controlling overall operation, and a driving unit traveling linearly and injecting agrichemicals. Monitoring and interlocking systems were utilized against unexpected malfunctions of power, injection and drive systems using radio freuency modems between the units. The system can be also modified to various farm sizes and stationary systems of indoor and outdoor.

  • The objective of this study is to replace labor intensive forging processes by an automated system. For achieving it, an exclusive mechanism that consists of a positioner, an arm, and a hanger is configured to handle hot forging objects. Also, a structural analysis is applied to the horizontal motion unit, which is the most highly loaded, in order to verify its validity. In addition, its possibility is also verified through identifying the performance of the proposed system before applying it to sites. As a result, the major characteristic items, such as positioning accuracy, material diameter, object traveling weight, product failure rate, and forging process rate, in this system are perfectly verified for applying it to manufacturing sites.

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish an effective inspection system by using OMM (On-Machine Measurement) system based PC-NC. This system can reduce manufacturing lead time because a workpiece is inspected at every machining process and the manufacturing system which includes inspection faculty is able to realize on-line process on CNC machining center. The proposed OMM system is composed of a few algorithms for determination of inspection parameters. It is accomplished by determining the number of measuring points, their location, measuring path using fuzzy logic, Hammersley's method, TSP (Traveling Salesperson Problem) algorithm. The inspection feature applied to this system is based on machining feature. This method is tested by simulation and experiment that are analyzed measuring data and geometry tolerance.

  • In this paper, the maze navigation system using image recognition for autonomous mobile robot is proposed. The proposed maze navigation system searches the target by image recognition method based on ADALINE neural network. The infrared sensor system must travel all blocks to find target because it can recognize only one block information each time. But the proposed maze navigation system can reduce the number of traveling blocks because of the ability of sensing several blocks at once. Especially, due to the simplicity of the algorithm, the proposed method could be easily implemented to the system which has low capacity processor.

  • High speed railway is under construction from Seoul to Pusan. A traveling train is large single phase load that consumes 14MW power in feeding system of high speed railroad. In this paper, measurement scheme and method of power system harmonics which are generated from those loads in railroad supply system are described. This measurement scheme will be used as a first step to pave a way to power quality management due to harmonic distortion by the highspeed rail way.

  • A velocity planning method is proposed that ensures collision-free and minimal delay-time motions for two robotic manipulators and auxiliary equipments. Additional path, which makes robot start with possible largest speed, is added to the original prescribed path of one of two robots, and this running start along the additional path reduces delay time introduced to avoid collision between the robots and therefore reduces total traveling time.

  • In this paper, research of unmanned electric bicycle based on autonomic traveling is discussed. We derived dynamic equation of bicycle and introduced control theory that bicycle´s tilt angle and velocity is stable in some region. We implemented system using DSP processor, accelerometer and DC motor. Then, we carried out an experiment based on studied Control theory.

  • In the braking process of rolling stocks, the equivalent braking force is applied to the all bogies. However, the load applied to the front and rear bogie are different in the actual commercial traveling. In the case, since the different slip situation is occurred in each bogie, it is essential to use the independent anti-slip control per bogie unit in order to reduce the loss of braking force. In this paper, the algorithm about bogie unit braking is proposed and verified.

  • This paper considers the vehicle routing problem taking account of not only delivery but pick-up at the same time. A mathematical formulation is presented for finding the route which satisfies all the demands of customers and enables picking up most containers without exceeding the capacity of the vehicle. A table comparing traveling distance and the pick-up amount is provided by using heuristic method, which will be of help to the decision makers.

  • 본 논문에서는 에너지 함수의 직접적인 평가에 기초해 홉필드 신경망을 진화시킴에 따라 적응적으로 에너지 계수를 결정하는 기법을 제시하고자 한다. 이 기법에 근거하여 구해지는 계수들의 효과를 검증하기 위해 응용 모델인 TSP(Traveling Salesman Problem)에 적용하여, 실험을 통한 계수 값의 변화 추이를 분석하고 그 결과를 기존의 기법들과 비교한다. 또한 제안된 방법에 필수적인 각 단계에서의 에너지 값의 평가를 위한 부가적인 연산을 줄이기 위해 단계적으로 증감분만을 계산하는 효율적인 연산법을 제시한다.
