Purpose - Through multinational corporate ethics and environmental, social, and governance (ESG), various policy and strategic countermeasures for transparent management in the management and economic fields are presented. Research design, data, and methodology - A literature review is conducted to find important areas for transparent management and to summarize and present transparent management countermeasures based on simple brainstorming opinions from experts. Result - Issues facing transparent management are presented. In particular, multinational enterprises present cases involving prevention of transfer prices and tax avoidance in relation to Industry 4.0. Additionally, a plan is presented to establish a corruption-free economic system through the practice of ESG transparency, ethical management of social enterprises, and transparent management. Conclusion - According to the brainstorming opinions of experts, ESG management and ethical management should be the cornerstone of transparent management in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to institutionally supplement the imposition of digital taxes on fourth industrial companies.

For effective light harvesting, a design weighting should be implemented in a front geometry, in which the incident light transmits from a surface into a light-active layer. We designed a three-dimensionally patterned transparent conductor layer for effective light management. A transparent conductive oxide (TCO) film was formed as three-dimensional structures. This efficiently drives the incident light at the front surface into a Si absorber to yield a reduction in reflection and an enhancement of current. This indicates that an optimum architecture for a front TCO surface will provide an effective way for light management in solar cells.

This study aims to select ESG items from a consumer perspective and examine the influence of these factors on corporate image and corporate reputation. ESG-related research tends to be conducted from a corporate or investment perspective. However, based on their evaluation of ESG activities, consumers form corporate image and corporate reputation. Accordingly, the E, S, and G evaluation items were applied from the consumer's perspective to analyze the impact of each item. As a result of the study, the impact on corporate image was found to be in the order of transparent management, support for small and medium-sized businesses, and response to climate change. The results of corporate reputation analysis showed transparent management, response to climate change, and support for small businesses. From the consumer's perspective, activities related to a company's response to climate change are considered a corporate obligation, and demands for coexistence and transparent corporate management of small and medium-sized businesses are growing. The significance of this study is that ESG requires environmental management, symbiotic management, and transparent management from a consumer point of view, suggesting that transparent corporate management is the most important factor. In addition, it suggests that communication with consumers of companies requires communication not only in the environmental area, but also in the social and governance areas.

This study aims to find the causal relationship between the effects of apartment inhabitants' life management and administrative management on housing satisfaction. The study results are as follows. Firstly, life management showed to have a positive effect on life satisfaction. In other words, the better the management of public order and facilities, the higher the satisfaction of housing satisfaction. Thus, the principal agent of management needs to increase inhabitants' housing satisfaction through education and training on developing life management techniques. Secondly, administrative management showed to have a positive effect on life satisfaction. Thus, the more accurate the completion documents and management transfer process necessary for administrative management, the higher the cost-cutting effects of accounting, construction, and service contracts, the more transparent the resident agreement process in accordance with management policies, the more transparent the election process of building representatives and resident representatives, and the higher the effects of energy saving, the higher the housing satisfaction of inhabitants. This revealed that the principal agent of management needs to increase housing satisfaction through education and training on developing administrative management techniques because the level of administrative management had a positive effect on housing satisfaction. As a result, in order to create reliability between inhabitants and the principal agents of management, the transparency of administrative management such as document disclosure must be ensured, thus improving the housing satisfaction of inhabitants.

Transparent conducting nanoscale-domes were periodically patterned on a Si substrate by nanoimprint method. Transparent conductor of indium-tin-oxide (ITO) was shaped as a nanodome, which effectively drives the incident light effectively into a light-absorber and therefore induces a substantially enhanced photo-response. An ITO nanodome is electrically isolated from the neighboring nanodomes. This structure benefits to provide a low contact between a Si substrate and a front metal electrode giving an efficient electrical path. The ITO nanodome device showed a significantly enhanced photo-response of 6010 from the value of 72.9 of a planar ITO film. The electrical and optical advantage of an ITO nanodome is suitable for various photoelectric applications.

This study reviewed corporate social responsibility activities of fashion companies and discussed strategies of social enterprises. The research was conducted on 6 Korean fashion companies with sales over KRW 1 trillion as of the end of the term in 2015. Corporate social responsibility activities of each company were investigated from economic, social and environmental viewpoints. The results of this study were as follows: First, each company promoted win-win growth, co-existence management, transparent management and ethics management through economic activities. They pursued win-win growth and co-existence management, which aimed to respect and grow with their partners. Also, they ensured transparent management and ethics management to show their moral management. Second, each company conducted various social contribution programs as part of their social activities. Through the programs, they made donations, supported welfare and culture, and practiced voluntary work, local activities, training and equal opportunities. Third, as for environmental activities, each company tried to protect nature through various activities such as donation to environmental organizations, environmental cleanup activities, environmental management from production to disposal, reuse, eco-friendly system, environmental volunteering, etc. Articles on fashion companies' social responsibility activities have an influence on boosting their attitude and image towards businesses.

Currently, the record of part-timer is mainly written in handwriting or using excel work schedule, paper work recorder, and time attendance program using POS program. And, work table, commute records, paycheck are managed separately. Time-attendance information is not linked and is managed separately, and payment of wages is often not done accurately. And, it is difficult to pay the wages because it is not able to accurately grasp the state of attendance of part-timer. Therefore, it is necessary to have a transparent wage and work management system based on the trust between the owner and the part-timer. In this paper, we design a system that can perform real-time commute check using beacon, transparent wage management, wage calculation by automatic calculation, and smooth communication between owner and the part-timer. We have also implemented a store management mobile application using Android Studio 2.3, Eclipse, Android 5.1 and Beacon devices in a MySQL environment.

The face stability of shield tunnelling is the most important control index for safety risk management. Based on the reliability of the transparent clay (TC) model test, a series of TC model tests under different buried depth were conducted to investigate the progressive failure mechanism of tunnel face. The support pressure was divided into the rapid descent stage, the slow descent stage and the basically stable stage with company of the local failure and integral failure in the internal of the soil during the failure process. The relationship between the support pressure and the soil movement characteristics of each failure stage was defined. The failure occurred from the soil in front of the tunnel face and propagated as the slip zone and the loose zone. The fitted formulas were proposed for the calculation of the failure process. The failure mode in clay was specified as the basin shape with an inverted trapezoid shape for shallow buried and appeared as the basin shape with a teardrop-like shape in deep case. The implications of these findings could help in the safety risk management of the underground construction.

Using materials with high thermal conductivity is a matter of great concern in the field of thermal management. In this study, we present our experimental results on an important physical property of carbon nanotube (CNT) films, two-dimensional thermal conductivity obtained by using an optical method based on Raman spectroscopy. We prepared four kinds of CNT films to investigate the effect of CNT type on heat spreading performance of films. This first comparative study using the optical method shows that the arc-discharge single-walled carbon nanotubes yield the best heat spreading film. And we observed thermal conductivity values of CNT films with various transmittances and found that the Raman method works as long as the sample is a transparent film. This study provides useful information on characterization of thermal conduction in transparent CNT films and could be an important step toward high-performance carbon-based heat spreading films.

Background There are currently no guidelines for the postoperative wound management of the hard-palate donor site in cases involving mucosal harvesting. This study describes our experiences with the use of an artificial dermis for early epithelialization and transparent plate fixation in cases involving hard-palate mucosal harvesting. Methods A transparent palatal plate was custom-fabricated using a thermoplastic resin board. After mucosal harvesting, an alginic acid-containing wound dressing (Sorbsan) was applied to the donor site, which was then covered with the plate. After confirming hemostasis, the dressing was changed to artificial dermis a few days later, and the plate was fixed to the artificial dermis. The size of the mucosal defect ranged from 8×25 to 20×40 mm. Results Plate fixation was adequate, with no postoperative slippage or infection of the artificial dermis. There was no pain at the harvest site, but a slight sense of incongruity during eating was reported. Although the fabrication and application of the palatal plate required extra steps before and after harvesting, the combination of the artificial dermis and palatal plate was found to be very useful for protecting the mucosal harvest site, and resulted in decreased pain and earlier epithelialization. Conclusions The combination of artificial dermis and a transparent palatal plate for wound management at the hard-palate mucosal donor site resolved some of the limitations of conventional methods.
