주기적인 선물체에 대한 Contrast Transfer Function의 수치계산 (Numerical calculation of contrast transfer function for periodic line-space patterns)

  • 광학계의 결상성능평가는 optical transfer function(OTF)을 측정하는 것이 표준적인 방법으로 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 대량 생산되는 광학계의 경우에서는 측정의 편리함 때문에 test pattern을 투영하여 contrast를 검사하는 방법도 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 회절결상이론을 사용하여 주기적 line-space pattern에 대한 contrast transfer function(CTF)을 계산하는 프로그램을 개발하고, C­계수와 Zernike 다항식으로 표현되는 3차 파면수차에 의한 광학계의 modulation transfer function (MTF)과 CTF 변화를 비교, 분석하였다.

경질유 유량표준장치의 신뢰도 검증을 위한 측정정확도 비교 (Intercomparison of Light Oil Flow Standard System for the Reliability of Measurement Accuracy)

  • Light Oil Flow Standard System(LOFSS), as a national oil flow standard system, in Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science(KRISS) was developed for oil flowmeter calibration, and the expanded uncertainty of flow quantity determination was estimated within 0.04 %. In order to improve the reliability of the LOFSS measurement, a proficiency test was carried out in the flow range of 20 and $240\;m^3/h$ (Reynolds number $20,000{\sim}900,000$). A turbine flowmeter was used as a transfer package in round robin test. The water flow standard system of KRISS, the pipe prover of the national calibration and test organization and the master meter calibrator of the turbine flowmeter supplier, which used the different working fluid respectively, were compared with the turbine flowmeter measurement. The maximum difference of measurement was 0.15 % between the LOFSS and the pipe prover. The En numbers of the each system measurement were evaluated at the same Reynolds number. It was found that the En numbers were less than 1 in the comparison, which means the procedures of the uncertainty estimation of the each calibrators were reasonable and reliable.

  • Voltage variation caused by large loads such as arc furnace and large motors, which use the large and instantaneous currents, can cause the voltage flicker. The flicker irritates the human's eyes and also has an adverse effect on protection device, rotating machine and electronic device etc, therefore the flicker needs to be managed effectively. Recently, the Korea power quality standard has been established on the IEC standards. This paper presents the flicker management standard for distribution power system and suggests the flicker transfer coefficients for Korea power system based on the IEC 61000-3-7.

  • In this paper, the process of predicting efficient durability performance for vibration durability test of automobile parts using vibration test load on automobile fuel tank is presented. First of all, the common standard load that can be applied to the initial development process of the automobile was used for the fuel tank and the vulnerability of the fuel tank to the vibration fatigue load was identified through frequency response analysis. In addition, the vulnerability of the fuel tank was re-enacted through vibration durability test results, and the scale factor was applied to the standard load. In order to predict the vibration durability performance required for detailed design, vibration fatigue analysis was performed on the developed vehicle with the frequency of vibration severity equivalent to the durability test, and the vulnerability and life span of the fuel tank were identified through the process of applying weights to these selected standard loads, thereby reducing the test time of the development vehicle.

  • It is not possible to exchange parametric information of CAD (Computer Aided Design) models based on the current version of STEP (Standard leer the Exchange of Product model data). The design intent can be lost during the STEP transfer of CAD models. The ISO Parametrics Group has proposed the SMCH (Solid Model Construction History) schema in June 2000 that includes structures fur exchange of parametric information. This paper proposes the macro parametric approach that is intended to provide capabilities to transfer parametric information. In this approach, CAD models are exchanged in the form of macro files. The macro file contains user commands which are used in the modeling phase. To exchange CAD models using the macro parametric approach, modeling commands of commercial CAD systems are analyzed. Those commands are classified by the grouping method suggested by Bill Anderson. As a neutral file format, a standard modeling commands set has been defined. Mapping relations between the standard modeling commands set and the native modeling commands set of commercial CAD systems are defined.

  • MAP is a standard communication protocol for manufactoring automation. In this paper we implemented IEEE 802.2 LLC class 3 protocol, which consist of type l(unacknowledged connecionless data transfer) mode and type 3 (acknowledged connectionless data transfer) mode. This implemented protocol is verified by the test.

Effects of Transfer Gate on the Photocurrent Characteristics of Gate/Body-Tied MOSFET-Type Photodetector

  • In this study, we studied the effects of transfer gate on the photocurrent characteristics of gate/body-tied (GBT) metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET)-type photodetector. The GBT MOSFET-type photodetector has high sensitivity owing to the amplifying characteristic of the photocurrent generated by light. The transfer gate controls the flow of photocurrent by controlling the barrier to holes, thereby varying the sensitivity of the photodetector. The presented GBT MOSFET-type photodetector using a built-in transfer gate was designed and fabricated via a 0.18-㎛ standard complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) process. Using a laser diode, the photocurrent was measured according to the wavelength of the incident light by adjusting the voltage of the transfer gate. Variable sensitivity of the presented GBT MOSFET-type photodetector was experimentally confirmed by adjusting the transfer gate voltage in the range of 405 nm to 980 nm.

폴리머 층 전사 및 처짐 현상을 이용한 곡선 형태의 PMMA 나노채널 제작 (Curve-typed PMMA Nanochannel Fabrication using Polymer Layer Transfer and Collapse Technique)

  • We present a simple and low-cost method to fabricate poly(methyl-methacrylate) (PMMA) nanochannels with various shapes by combining the standard optical lithography with a PMMA layer transfer and collapse technique. We utilized PMMA membrane reflowing/collapsing phenomena into microchannels to fabricate nanochannels at both corners of arbitrarily-shaped microchannels. This allows nanochannels with various shapes such as curved nanochannels as well as straight nanochannels to be easily fabricated since the shape of the microchannel determines the shape of the nanochannels. This nanochannel fabrication method is simple, flexible, and low-cost since the standard optical lithography with low-resolution optical masks can be used to fabricate nanoscale channels as small as 100 nm wide with various shapes. Also, the sealing of nanochannels can be naturally achieved while the nanochannels are formed through the polymer layer transfer and collapse.

아트리움 공간에서 화재발생시 복사열전달의 영향 분석 (Effects of Radiation Heat Transfer on the Fire in an Atrium)

  • 본 연구는 아트리움 방호공간에서 화재발생시 복사열전달의 유무에 따른 유동장 및 온도분포의 예측을 목적으로 수치해석을 수행하였다. 화재모델로 Field 모델을 사용하였으며 난류 모델로 SIMPLE 알고리즘이 적용된 표준 $k-{\varepsilon}$ 모델을 사용하였다. 복사열전달 해석에 필요한 복사물성치의 계산은 속도를 단축하며 정확성을 유지하는 WSGGM-RG를 사용하였다. 난류유동장과 복사열전달의 계산은 자체 개발된 CCRHT-3D 프로그램을 사용하였다. 해석결과에 의하면 화재지점을 제외하고 아트리움의 천장부가 높은 온도분포로 나타났다. 유동과 온도의 분포가 출입문 방향으로 편향되고 화재의 위치에서 아트리움의 천장과 벽에 가까워질수록 온도가 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 천장 스프링클러헤드의 작동 시점을 예측하는데 복사열의 영향이 크다는 것을 의미하게 된다.

  • This paper presents an effective numerical method for analyzing three-dimensional unsteady conjugate heat transfer problems of a curved pipe subjected to infernally thermal stratification. In the present numerical analyses, the thermally stratified flows in the pipe are simulated using the standard $k-{\varepsilon}$turbulent model and the unsteady conjugate heat transfer is treated numerically with a simple and convenient numerical technique. The unsteady conjugate heat transfer analysis method is implemented in a finite volume thermal-hydraulic computer code based on a non-staggered grid arrangement, SIMPLEC algorithm and higher-order bounded convection scheme. Numerical calculations have been performed far the two cases of thermally stratified pipe flows where the surging directions are opposite each other i.e. In-surge and out-surge. The results show that the present numerical analysis method is effective to solve the unsteady flow and conjugate heat transfer in a curved pipe subjected to infernally thermal stratification.
