선로변 시설물 차상 제어를 위한 차상중심 열차제어시스템 예비 현장시험 (Preliminary Field Trial of Improved Train Control System Using on-board Control)

  • 열차의 안전 운행을 위한 철도신호시스템은 궤도회로, 연동장치 등의 지상 설비를 이용하여 열차의 안전거리를 확보하기 위해 열차의 속도와 거리를 제어한다. 또한 이러한 철도신호시스템은 열차의 진로에 따라 선로전환기 등의 선로변 설비들을 제어한다. 이러한 지상 중심의 열차제어시스템은 높은 유지보수 비용이 요구된다. 이에 대한 해결책으로, 최근 차상중심 열차제어시스템이 제안되었고, 관련 기술들의 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 차상중심 열차제어시스템은 차상에서 직접 열차 진로상의 선로변 설비들을 제어하는 기술이며, 이러한 시스템의 도입으로 선로변 시설물들이 간소화되어 효율적이고 경제적인 열차제어시스템의 구현이 가능하다. 이에 따라 차상제어장치와 선로전환기, 건널목차단기 등의 선로변 제어장치의 시제품을 개발하였고, 테스트 베드를 구축하여 열차운영 시나리오에 따른 통합 운영 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 차상중심 열차제어시스템의 현장 적합성 시험에 앞서 설치시험, 무선망 통신시험, 차상제어장치의 인터페이스 시험 및 정상 기능 시험을 포함한 예비현장시험 결과를 기술한다. 시험 결과는 시험 시나리오의 모든 항목을 만족하였으며, 이를 통해 개발한 차상중심 열차제어시스템의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • Railway construction in the random vibration natural phenomena, as well as a relatively regular train loads for dynamic loads, such as a usability and safety should be ensured. Vibration due to train loads and seismic vibrations caused by wind compared to the typically very small in size, rather than the safety of the structure affects the usability. Recently in the downtown area, ground and underground facilities, such as a permanent facility that may cause excessive vibration increases, associated with the construction of these transportation facilities on ground vibrations of structures has been increasing concern and complaint. More recently, high-speed train vibration and noise due to furnace is increasing. In order to solve this problem, such as soundproof considering several feet, but by applying the vibration and noise reduction measures insufficient for the study is Free. In this study, track structure, track, and the inside of the building to support the system, the different forms of neurological history and share about the history cheonanahsan high-speed rail, if passed by the bus stop on the train loads of noise, and the history of interior noise and vibration measurement / analysis of measurement results to assess the relative comparison with the relevant provisions were reviewed. Based on this history, future plans for the design of the bridge to reflect the results of a study is intended to provide information. Waiting for the analysis of vibration and noise reduction, cheonanahsan history passed quietly in the train, on average, appeared to 67.53dB and 65.41dB nervous week on average, were measured with the history.   • 중국경제의 급부상과 함께 물류산업이 최근 몇 년간 빠른 속도로 성장하고 있다. 특히 한 중간의 물동량이 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 상황에서 물류비용 절감을 위한 복합수송시스템의 도입 필요성이 대두되고 있으며, 육상수송 위주에서 친환경적 수송수단인 철도, 연안해운 등으로 modal shift가 활성화 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이미 운용중인 중국의 기반시설을 고려하여 한중 열차페리 시스템 도입을 위한 기술적 시사점을 제시하였다. 열차페리 시스템의 기술적인 평가에는 선박뿐 만아니라 제반시설과 기술이 포함되어야 한다. 즉, 한 중간 열차페리 시스템의 도입을 위해서는 효율적인 modal shift를 위한 항만 및 철도시설, 그리고 운용기술의 확보와 표준화를 위한 작업이 선행되어야 한다.

  • This study suggests several ways to improve the railroad facilities in the urban areas so as to maintain the urban railroad facilities and minimize their adverse impact on the roads around the facilities. Environmental problems such as noise and vibration can be minimized by constructing soundproofing walls and improving railway and train systems. To reduce the traffic congestion at the railroad crossings, current at-grade crossings should be changed to separated crossings. Moreover, the criteria by where railroad crossings are located should be revised. In the long term, the land use development for the railroad station and the surrounding areas needs to be changed. Several case studies of Japan's and France's major cities show the potential of successfully integrating the development of railroad facilities and their surrounding areas. In addition, there is a need to .consider institutional aspects, to improve the railroad facilities in the urban areas and to allow the integrated development of the railroad facilities and the surrounding areas.

틸팅 차량용 시뮬레이터 적용을 위한 통제 및 가상현실 영상 시스템 개발 (Development of a Control and Virtual Realty Visual System for the Tilting Train Simulator)

  • This paper presents a development of the control and the virtual reality visual system for a tilting train simulator. The user of the tilting train simulator is able to set up the environmental and operating conditions through the user interface provided by the control system. In the control system, an arbitrary track which has user-defined curve radius, length and direction can be generated. The virtual reality visual system provides an artificial environment that is composed of several facilities such as station, platform, track, bridge, tunnel and signaling system. In order to maximize the reality, all of the 3D modeling were based on the real photographs taken in the Jungang line. A dome screen with 1600mm diameter was used to maximize the view angle. The hemispherical screen can ensure the view angle of the 170 degrees of vertical direction and 135 degrees of lateral direction.

  • The bullet train runs more than 200km/h so that it is invisible to the naked eye. For this reason, KTX solely dependent on the ATC operation system. Above all things, 'stability' and 'regular time' are essential to Train Control Operation system. But intermittently, there is a signal transmission problem between ATC operation facilities and ground equipments. which is caused by wheel sliding and friction coefficient between wheel and rail when the train starts. This paper analyzed train service data for one year for accurate survey. In addition, this thesis examines the main cause of a signal transmission problem through simulation and experiment. Further, the method to solve the conventional problem is presented.

  • Railroad disasters are frequently occurred by man-made causes or natural causes. In general, man-made causes are illegal construction practices, deterioration with the lapse of time and railroad crossing accidents, and natural causes are rainfall. snow, wind, earthquake, etc. Of cause, railroad disasters by man-made causes are prevented from keeping the safety principle, constructing multi-level crossing, securing enough men of ability and financial resources and making a thorough check using equipments with high capacity. And railroad disasters by natural causes are also minimized by construction of disaster prevention facilities, introduction and operation of general disaster prevention system and reasonable train passage control. Therefore, to setup the criterion of train passage control for train safety at railroad bridge under heavy rainfall, risky factors, national and oversea criteria under such circumstances are reviewed and a scheme to setup the criterion is suggested.

  • The psychophysical magnitude estimation thechnique can provide a useful tool for determining the best design features of a product in terms of user preference, especially when it is difficult or almost impossible to obtain objective and quantitative data on the user performance. In this research, several interior design features of a high speed train such as arrangement of passenger seats, and availability of interior facilities were examined quantitatively to provide interior design recommendations for the high speed train. A train simulator was built to provide a realistic interior enviror enviroment of the high speed train, and individual design features were manipulated by using a three-factor within-subject experimental design. At the same time, a psychophysical scale of verbal descriptors ranging from "extremly like" to "extremly dislike" was developed to explain the magnitude estimates of the design features in ordinary language.n ordinary language.

KTX 객실내 공기청정도 측정 (The Measurement of the Indoor Air Quality in KTX Train)

  • Indoor air quality is an important determinant of human health and comfort. However, the complexity of pollution sources and the multitude of parties responsible for creating indoor exposures makes the improvement of air quality difficult. The KTX HVAC(Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) system is important facility to provide comfortable environment passenger service. The Ministry of Environment is planning to enforce$\square\square$Indoor Air Quality Management law in Public Facilities$\square\square$in year 2008. Hereupon, the train and the subway are included. In this research air quality in the KTX Train compartment has measured. As a result, The average amounts of PM10(particulate matters), $CO_2$(carbon dioxide)measured $20{\mu}g/m^3$, 1,097ppm in KTX respectively. There are compare to regulation the value is 10% for PM10 and 43% for $CO_2$. Thus, the indoor air quality of KTX train have been proved satisfy the recommendation the Ministry of Environment guidelines.

  • After the reform of rail industry, a system to evaluate service qualities is required for the continuous improvement of railway service and the strength of competitiveness. This research provides evaluation categories and indices which are considered to be suited to the evaluation of rail service qualities. This study provides 4 categories and 11 indices to assess the rail service qualities: provision-operation interval/average operation speed, reliability-regularity/operation cancellation rate, safety- train usage term/facilities for the weak, client satisfaction- easiness of reserving and purchasing of tickets/comfort of queuing facilities/ kindness of train crews/ pleasantness of trains/provision of information, etc.
