고속선구에 광역교통서비스 제공을 위한 고속철도와 급행전철 혼용운용 고찰 (Considering combined operation method with the wide area rapid-transit and high speed-transit for wide area traffic service offer at high speed track section)

  • 신도시 개발 등으로 대도시의 생활권이 확대됨에 따라 수도권 교통의 광역화가 지속적으로 진행되고 있어 대도시권내의 광역교통문제해소 및 혼잡비용 최소화를 위한 체계적이고 지속 가능한 장기 마스터플랜 구상이 필요하게 되었다. 이에 따라, 최근 경기도에서는 동탄 신도시와 서울 강남을 20분대에 연결할 수 있는 대심도 급행전철 사업을 구상하였다. 국토부에서는 경부고속철도 2단계와 호남고속철도 완공에 따른 선로용량 부족해소와 수도권 및 경기 남부 지역 주민들에게 고속철도 서비스제공을 위한 강남권 고속철도 노선(수서${\sim}$동탄${\sim}$평택) 건설이 필요한 것으로 "수도권 철도망 개선방안 연구용역(2007.12)" 결과를 발표하였다. 경기도에서 추진 중인 광역급행전철과 강남권 고속철도 노선이 중복됨에 따라 국토의 이용 효율성 향상과 국가재정의 효율적 투자를 위해 고속철도의 선로 여유용량을 활용한 광역급행전철 혼용에 대한 검토가 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 고속철도와 광역급행전철을 혼용 운행할 경우 노반분야 및 E & M 기술조건, 중간역 계획, 열차운영계획 등의 분석을 통해 최적화된 혼용운영 방안과 사업비 절감효과 등을 제시함으로써 동일선로에서 이종의 열차가 운행됨에 따른 철도사업의 투자효율성 제고 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Technology on the rolling stock is very composition and system engineering. We have to consider to many parameters on the rolling stock design. High speed train is interface between rolling stock and infra system of rail, signal, communication etc. For many years testing operation has experienced substantial growth based on various advanced new technology. Recently some problems was clearly stated on effective management, practical use and testing operation of the the rolling stock on the technology change. This paper presents some results of the study on necessary requirements of the operation testing for rolling stock technology change. We propose a general plan to suggest the operation testing and the parameters of the rolling stock on the technology change in the text.

화물열차 노선계획 작성을 위한 열 생성 기반 최적화 모형 연구 (A Column Generation Approach to Line Planning in Rail Freight Transportation)

  • 노선 계획이란 수요를 만족시키면서 열차 운행 비용(operation cost)을 최소화하는 시종착별 열차 운행횟수를 결정하는 과정을 말한다. 그러나 화물 수송의 경우 화물 취급역에서 발생하는 화물의 연결 혹은 해방 작업은 상당한 시간을 필요로 하여, 잦은 중간 화물역에서의 연결 해방 작업은 수송 서비스의 품질을 저하시킬 수 있으므로, 여객 열차의 노선 계획과 달리, 화물 열차 노선 계획에서는 각 열차의 도중 입환역을 어떻게 설정할 것인가가 매우 중요한 문제이다. 본 연구는 열차의 운행 경로, 운행 횟수뿐만 아니라 열차별 도중 입환역를 포함하는 노선계획을 작성하기 위한 최적화 모형을 제시하고, 이 모형에 대한 열생성 기반 해법 및 실험결과를 제시할 것이다.

  • Subway is working in the construction of station and wayside equipment which was controlled by central and local control operating system for more efficient management. Traffic controlled by functional integration to be interlocked but each part is constructed and operated individually that is not efficient. Therefore, this paper offer to plan of integrating central and local system in one place of each feild. Functional integration plan will help central and local system to link strengthening. This is also offering to integrating central of an officer in command and integrating local of control station and office.

  • Railway has recently played an important role in preventing global warming caused by green house gases and furthering a low carbon green growth, The various railway research centers have conducted facilitated studies on saving energy. In particular, urban railway has emerged as the best means of public transportation in terms of punctuality, safety and environmentally friendliness. There are various ways to save energy in terms of operation of urban railway system, and they can be generally divided into hardware aspects that pertain to structure of vehicles and development of control system and software aspects that pertain to effective operation of trains based on operation patterns and diagram control. In this paper, we investigated drive assistance system for railway energy efficiency. The railway operation patterns and train diagram management programs were researched.

  • Owing to the reduction in the peak power of a DC railway subsystem, many studies on energy storage system (ESS) applications have received attention. Each application focuses on improving the efficiency and addressing regulation issues by utilizing the huge regenerative energy generated by braking-phase vehicles. The ESS applications are widely divided into installation on a vehicle or in a substation, depending on the target system characteristics. As the main purpose of the ESS application is to reduce the peak power of starting-phase vehicles, an optimized ESS utilization can be achieved by the operating at the highest peak power section. However, the weight of an entire vehicle, including those of the passengers, continuously changes during operation; thus, considering the total power consumption and the discharging point is difficult. As a contribution to the various storage device algorithms, this study deals with ESS on board vehicles and introduces an ESS operating plan for peak-power reduction by investigating the weight of a train on a real-time basis. This process is performed using a train-performance simulator, and the simulation accuracy can be increased because the weight in each phase can be adopted in the simulation.

철도 고속화에 따른 단계별 신호시스템 구축방안 연구 (A Study on Establishment of Signaling Systems to Speed up Conventional Railway)

  • Studies suggested an increase in the competitiveness and roles of mainline railways like speed and accessibility improvement, as a fundamental direction of the National Transport Network Plan. At this point, topics presented especially for strengthening the role of human and environment centered transportation: as to the greatly improved speed competitiveness, there are an operational speed above 180km/h ~ 200km/h and traveling within 2 ~ 3 hours among big cities. As to accessibility improvement, there are accessibility to main railway stations within 30 minutes, and the improvement of accessibility, safety, eco-friendliness, amenity etc. As a part of these suggestions, field specific plans were proposed for the establishment of expressed mainline railway network in Korea such as train's, civil structures, trolley lines etc. In this paper we analyzed the conventional lines and systems to figure out whether to change details in terms of H/W of signaling system. Additionally, we reviewed the compatibility or difference of signalling system depending on train's speed. With this result, we deduced the number of virtual blocks specific to the speed of 180km/h, 200km/h and 230km/h, which were showed for the speed improvement considering each variable like blocks, braking distance etc. In this way, we suggested the railway signal system establishment plan considering safety operation.

  • In the more and more continues traffic difficulty which comes to be serious it is for solve, in order to like this used plan for new town light train automatic fare collection system, the city development which is balance and the passenger whom it uses, in consequence of the fact that recently believer instruction, the automatic fare collection system the reverse which is convenient is used in the scripture season which is embossed with means it introduces it operates and a manpower with the scientific service control which leads the electric computer anger of passenger service improvement and accounting and statistical business it reduces, the use is convenient and the possibility facility of operating efficiently in rational plan in order to be, description below for the service automation equipment where the efficiency improves it is. Service automation equipment uses a scripture season to be the first boundary gate of the passenger, there must be a place where it uses a service automation facility and in order to be convenient, it considers the moving area and a wait of the reverse station passenger moving area and the space where, must secure the automatic fare collection system which it follows in automation of facility and the service operation of the reverse station which is ticket sale, the collection of tickets back the passenger is convenient and in order it will be able to use, must do and must consider, must arrange the efficient characteristic of the maintenance civil official services.

  • The government makes an effort to disperse the centralization of Seoul through the its surroundings development for relieving the various social problems caused by the capital region concentration. But, the planless development of rail system in the capital region have made it difficult to approach into Seoul city center from its surroundings. Through Seoul metro line 9, constructed by private company first in Korea, that has operation plan with normal and express train together, we would like to study up on promotion of passenger service quality such as "the improvement of the accessibility to Seoul city center from its surroundings" and "service of various pattern of trains"

  • Using AF(Audio Frequency) track circuits to control block signal automatically. ATC(Automatic Train Control) system employed in urban transit 3/4 line, Gwacheon-line, Bundang-line and Ilsan-line pursues the safety of train operation. ATC is employed as important means for the safety. in which the distance between trains is controlled to satisfy the safety requirement. In this paper, we analyze the control algorithm of ATC and investigate the improvement plan of urban transit driving control mode to guarantee the automatic driving function.
