요인분석을 활용한 일반국도 유형분류 (Classification of National Highway by Factor Analysis)

  • 도로분류체계는 도로의 기능. 설계기준을 정의하기 위한 기초가 된다. 본 연구는 요인분석을 활용한 일반국도 유형분류에 대해 다루고 있다. 이를 위해 2004년도 상시 교통량 조사지점에서 수집된 교통자료를 이용한 요인분석을 수행함으로써 일반국도를 유형별로 분류하였다. 적용된 변수는 총 9개로 AADT(연평균 일교통량), $K_{30}$(설계시간계수) $D_{30}$(중방항계수), 중차량 비율, 주간 교통량 비율, 첨두율, 일요일 계수, 휴가철 계수, 그리고 COV(변동계수)이다. 요인분석 결과, 교통량 변동 특성 요인과 중차량 및 방향별 특성요인이 추출되었다. 군집분석 결과 전체 353개 상시지점이 3개의 그룹으로 분류되었으며 그룹 I은 관광부도로, 그룹 II는 지방부도로, 그룹 III은 도시부도로로 판단된다.

스테레오 CCTV 영상에서 딥러닝을 이용한 교통량 추정 (Estimation of Traffic Volume Using Deep Learning in Stereo CCTV Image)

  • 교통량 산정은 주로 교통량조사시스템, 차량검지시스템, 통행료징수시스템 등과 같은 조사 장비와 CCTV를 통한 인력 조사를 병행하고 있으나 이는 많은 인력과 비용이 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 단일 CCTV의 경우 전체 차량을 탐지하지 못하는 한계를 극복하기 위해서, 딥러닝과 스테레오 CCTV를 이용하여 교통량을 산정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 차량을 탐지하기 위한 딥러닝 모델을 학습하기 위해 COCO 데이터셋을 사용하고, 실시간으로 좌우 CCTV 영상에서 각각 차량을 탐지하였다. 그리고 나서, 각 영상에서 추출하지 못한 차량을 부등각사상변환을 이용하여 추가적으로 차량을 탐지하여 교통량 산정의 정확도를 개선하였다. 실험은 평상시 도로 환경과 안개가 발생한 기상 상황의 경우에 대해서 각각 수행하였다. 평상시 도로 환경의 경우 단일 CCTV 영상을 사용할 때보다 좌우 영상에서 각각 6.75%, 5.92%의 차량 탐지의 개선효과가 있었다. 또한, 안개가 발생한 도로 환경의 경우 좌우 영상에서 각각 10.79%, 12.88%의 차량 탐지의 개선효과가 있었다.

토빗모형을 이용한 교차로 보행자 사고모형 개발 (Developing the Pedestrian Accident Models of Intersections using Tobit Model)

  • This study deals with the pedestrian accidents of intersections in case of Cheongju. The objective is to develop the pedestrian accident models using Tobit regression model. In pursuing the above, the pedestrian accident data from 2007 to 2011 were collected from TAAS data set of Road Traffic Authority. To analyze the accident, Poisson, negative binomial and Tobit regression models were utilized in this study. The dependent variable were the number of accident by intersection. Independent variables are traffic volume, intersection geometric structure and the transportation facility. The main results were as follows. First, Tobit model was judged to be more appropriate model than other models. Also, these models were analyzed to be statistically significant. Second, such the main variables related to accidents as traffic volume, pedestrian volume, number of traffic island, crossing length and the pedestrian countdown signal systems were adopted in the above model.

시나리오를 이용한 울산 내항의 혼잡 분석 (Congestion Analysis in the Inner Harbour of Ulsan Using a Scenario)

  • Since traffic congestion ratio at any given port fluctuates on the number of arriving and departing vessels, the total tonnage of freight volume being handled, and the number of berth in operation and other factors, there exists a need to numerically analyze the waterway traffic volume. However, there are no effective regulations in regards to the waterway traffic analysis prior to expansion of a port facility. The current analysis requires the traffic analysis in relation only to the width of the waterway, which clearly falls short of achieving a comprehensive evaluation study that could be used in consideration of port expansion.This study provides five scenarios to execute a comprehensive evaluation study and base for the sensitivity study by analyzing the scenarios. As a result of the sensitivity analysis, the A, B, and C scenarios varies the average arrival ratio of the berth shows 1.1, 1.19, and 1.28 times of delays respectively. Also, The D and E scenarios take place malfunctions of pier shows 1.21 and 1.53 times of delays respectively. Therefore, various strategies of harbor development and method of harbor management are needed for the flexible correspondence to the environmental changes such as the excessive increasing of the freight volume and often taking place of malfunctioning.

지능형 주행 안내 시스템을 위한 유전 알고리즘에 근거한 최적 경로 탐색 알고리즘 (An optimal and genetic route search algorithm for intelligent route guidance system)

  • In this thesis, based on Genetic Algorithm, a new route search algorithm is presented to search an optimal route between the origin and the destination in intelligent route guidance systems in order to minimize the route traveling time. The proposed algorithm is effectively employed to complex road networks which have diverse turn constrains, time-delay constraints due to cross signals, and stochastic traffic volume. The algorithm is also shown to significantly promote search efficiency by changing the population size of path individuals that exist in each generation through the concept of age and lifetime to each path individual. A virtual road-traffic network with various turn constraints and traffic volume is simulated, where the suggested algorithm promptly produces not only an optimal route to minimize the route cost but also the estimated travel time for any pair of the origin and the destination, while effectively avoiding turn constraints and traffic jam.

  • Incheon International Airport is becoming a hub in the Northeast Asia region since its opening in 2001. Along with an increasing volume of air traffic, demands for airspace are also increasing significantly. In particular, air traffic delays have been growing rapidly due to an increasing volume of air traffic, specially flying to Europe through China. And therefore, there should be an alternative protocol to prevent flight delays. The main purpose of this study is to review current West Sea Airways of G597/Y64 which contains highly potential problems and to evaluate the efficacy of double-tracked airways in the west sea area.

A Study on Prediction of Traffic Volume Using Road Management Big Data

  • In reflection of road expansion and increasing use rates, interest has blossomed in predicting driving environment. In addition, a gigantic scale of big data is applied to almost every area around the world. Recently, technology development is being promoted in the area of road traffic particularly for traffic information service and analysis system in utilization of big data. This study examines actual cases of road management systems and road information analysis technologies, home and abroad. Based on the result, the limitations of existing technologies and road management systems are analyzed. In this study, a development direction and expected effort of the prediction of road information are presented. This study also examines regression analysis about relationship between guide name and traffic volume. According to the development of driving environment prediction platform, it will be possible to serve more reliable road information and also it will make safe and smart road infrastructures.

시계열 분석을 활용한 고속도로 교통류 예측 (Forecasting of Motorway Traffic Flow based on Time Series Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the factors that reduce prediction error in traffic volume using highway traffic volume data. The ARIMA model was used to predict the day, and it was confirmed that weekday and weekly characteristics were distinguished by prediction error. The forecasting results showed that weekday characteristics were prominent on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and forecast errors including MAPE and MAE on Sunday were about 15% points and about 10 points higher than weekday characteristics. Also, on Friday, the forecast error was high on weekdays, similar to Sunday's forecast error, unlike Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, which had weekday characteristics. Therefore, when forecasting the time series belonging to Friday, it should be regarded as a weekly characteristic having characteristics similar to weekend rather than considering as weekday.

A Study on Traffic Distribution Processing using the Round Robin Monitoring System

  • As the result of the study shows, Round Robin Algorithm allows servers to ensure definite traffic distribution, unless incoming data loads differ much. Although error levels are high in some cases, they were eventually alleviated by repeated tests for a long period of time. The study uses two software packages (Packet Capture and Round Robin Test Package) to check packet volume from Virtual Network Structure (data generator, virtual server, Server 1, 2, 3), and finds out traffic distribution toward Server 1, 2, and 3. The functions of implemented Round Robin Load Balancing Monitoring System include round robin testing, system monitoring, and graphical indication of data transmission and packet volume.

교통량 분석을 통한 항만 VTS 관제사의 업무량 평가 (A Study on Evaluation of Harbor VTS Operators' Workload by the Analysis of Marine Traffic)

  • 전세계적으로 물동량이 증가하고 동시에 지난 10여년간 VTS는 급격한 성장을 하여 왔다. 그러나 VTS가 생겨난 이후 15년간 VTS 관제사의 업무량에 대한 관심과 연구는 미흡하였다. VTS 관제사의 업무량을 측정하기 위해 우선, Port-MIS 자료와 De-briefing자료를 이용하여 7일간 입출항 척수를 시간-톤수별로 구별하여 조사한다. 그러나, 한 척의 선박이 입항하더라도 관제사가 느끼는 부담의 정도가 달라지므로 선종, 크기, $L^2$ 환산치등을 조사한다. 여기에 설문조사를 통하여 구해진 관제 비관제 척수를 1과 0.3의 가중치를 주어 환산관제척수를 구한다. VTS 업무량에 영향을 주는 요소인 관제구역 크기, 사고발생 빈도, 거대선, 위험선을 조사 분석하여 관계식을 정립하고, 이 연구의 결론인 복합환산 관제척수(실제로 관제사에게 부담이 되는 업무량 교통량)를 산출한다.
