A wide range of challenges and obstacles still exist for "mumpreneurs" in creating or developing their business ventures. It is important to investigate the factors regarding why many mothers choose to become self-employed and partially abandon the benefits offered by traditional employment. This study focus on the individual, but an implied positive relationship also exits between motivational factors and mumpreneurs in Korea. Thus, four factors in this study - push, pull, environmental, and financial factor - raise the practical implications regarding the motivational factors of women entrepreneurial challenges in Korea. This study's findings also consider the nature and changes of Korean mumpreneurs' motivational factors, their challenges, and attitudes as business owners in Korean labor markets. This study's findings suggest that a combination of push and pull factors could similarly trigger new business ownership. The empirical contrast in such variables as motivations or barriers to mumpreneurship, in realities provide a superior understanding of women's tendency or willingness toward business creation, as they struggle to survive in the Korean labor market. They tend to start their own businesses to gain more responsibilities in both work and their families, and want to manage their own lives to contribute as capable members of society. Therefore, any Korean mother, regardless of any industry-specific experience, wants to use entrepreneurship as a shortcut to satisfy her need for self-fulfillment. The general motivational factors for becoming a mumpreneur exist among both external and internal situations. The circumstances beyond their control, such as job termination or unemployment, compel these mothers into the workforce due to their responsibility toward their families, but they simultaneously dream of self-achievement and development. Most mumpreneurs in Korea also want to demonstrate their potential and achieve societal recognition as well as increase in property.

This paper is proposed a customized market analysis method using SVM and collaborative filtering. The proposed customized market analysis scheme is consists of DC(Data Classification) module, ICF(Improved Collaborative Filtering) module, and CMA(Customized Market Analysis) module. DC module classifies the characteristics of on-line and off-line shopping mall and traditional markets into price, quality, and quantity using SVM. ICF module calculates the similarity by adding age weight and job weight, and generates network using the similarity of purchased item each users, and makes a recommendation list of neighbor nodes. And CMA module provides the result of customized market analysis using the data classification result of DC module and the recommendation list of ICF module. As a result of comparing the proposed customized recommendation list with the existing user based recommendation list, the case of recommendation list using the existing collaborative filtering scheme, precision is 0.53, recall is 0.56, and F-measure is 0.57. But the case of proposed customized recommendation list, precision is 0.78, recall is 0.85, and F-measure is 0.81. That is, the proposed customized recommendation list shows more precision.
BACKGROUND: This study was conducted to monitor residual pesticides in domestic agricultural products and to assess their risk to human health. METHODS AND RESULTS: 123 samples containing both general and environment-friendly certified agricultural products were purchased from traditional domestic markets and supermarkets in six provinces of Korea. Multiresidue analyses of one hundred twenty-two pesticides except for herbicides were performed with gas chromatography-electron capture detector, gas chromatography-nitrogen/phosphorus detector, and high-performance liquid chromatography. Sixteen pesticides were detected in 45 agricultural product samples, which were 38 general, 6 low pesticide and 1 of GAP agricultural product samples and the detection rate was 33.6%. Pesticides detected in agricultural product samples were cypermethrin, lufenuron, fenvalerate, bifenthrin, chlorfenapyr and iprodione. Residual concentration of 18 samples were exceeded the recommended maximum residue limit set by Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and two kinds of unregistered pesticides in korea were also detected in two samples. CONCLUSION(S): In order to do risk assessment by agricultural products consumption, estimated daily intake of residual pesticides were determined and compared to acceptable daily intake, referring to %ADI values. The range of %ADI values was from 0.038% to 2.748%. Taken together, it demonstrates the pesticides found in agricultural products samples were below the safety margin, indicating no effect on human health.
Electronic commerce and the Internet offer unprecedented opportunities. The explosive expansion of the use of the Internet makes it possible for businesses to expand their markets and render services. Global transaction costs are easy to cut off using Internet and transaction speed is faster than before. Where cyberspace is not free from claims, Offline transaction can lead to problems and disputes the same is for cyberspace transactions. However ADR is not meet for the online transaction for speed, cost and open network system, ODR methods to resolve electronic commerce conflicts is crucial for building confidence and permitting access to justice in an online business environment. The use of the Internet and the network in dispute resolution has an impact on the types of communication implied in the relevant processes such as automated negotiation, online mediation and online arbitration and involves new technological issues such as the integrity and confidentiality of data and communication used to transmit and store data. Among the ODR systems Online Arbitration is currently binding both parties disputed and can achieve the aim of dispute award the same as the traditional arbitration. Arbitration is based on the New York Convention 1958, Arbitration Model law 1985 and national Arbitration Act that are founded on territorial area and rested on arbitration agreement, constitution of the arbitral tribunal, due process, final and binding award and enforcement of the arbitration award. To compare with this issues Online arbitration has unnecessarily legal unstability and risk. ODR is the burgeoning field and has created a new issues. All such issues which have been debated in the ADR are composed with ODR. But these are not limited Some of issues are further complicated by the nature of the online environment such as confidentiality and principle of parties. It is true that online arbitration should comply with legal provisions, but which is impossible to adhere of the law. Flexible translation and functional equivalence of legal provisions are needed for acceptance of electronic commerce disputes. Finally electronic commerce now takes place on the Internet, it is inevitable that the commercial world wants access to dispute resolution process that best suits the new commercial environment. ODR methods are processing for development and legal issues are considered by both national and international authorities. Introduction of new Conventions or amend Convention and Model law of ODR comes near.
One of the most enduring concepts in the history of marketing thought relates to the classification of consumer goods. The product classification theory first proposed by Copeland(1923) has, with little modification, survived to the present day, and continues to be endorsed by the American Marketing Association and other related institutions some 80 years after it was first published. In truth, Copeland's classification is now outdated and bears little, if any, relevance to modern product advertising, retailing and consumption. In particular, it can not accommodate the fact that, in modern societies, consumer preoccupations with style, personal identity and status have meant that the social characteristics of goods, heavily promoted by brand managers who understand their markets, are key determinants of consumer choice and buyer behavior. In this respect, the author attempted to explore the reasons why product classification theory has been unresponsive to changes in market conditions over so many years and argue that its failure to embrace the many social influences on consumption and on consumer behavior is now its most serious weakness. And also, the author proposed the new categorization system of goods, based on the several existing literatures.
Purpose - The objective of this research is to investigate whether national culture influences consumers' service evaluations. The services industry is receiving increasing attention from academia and practitioners as its position grows in global markets. Standardization or localization is a traditional managerial decision in global business. As the boundaries of services expand across national borders, firms are required to decide whether to standardize services or adjust to local needs. Though it is imperative to reflect global perspectives in marketing theories, these perspectives are mostly based on Western conceptualization of the world. Through a comparison of consumer groups from two culturally remote countries, service quality evaluation mechanisms are examined based on similar stimuli. The study tries to expand service marketing perspectives across national borders. Research design, data, and methodology - Eastern and Western countries are known to be culturally distinct. One Eastern and one Western country were chosen: an Anglo-Saxon country (the U.S., England, and Australia) and South Korea. In Hofstede's cultural dimensions, the differences between the two are pronounced. The Anglo-Saxon based countries share many similarities. Samples of the same sites are targeted. Questionnaires using a service quality scale (SERVQUAL) and a customer satisfaction scale were distributed. Utilizing Hofstede's typology of culture, the service evaluation mechanisms of the respondents from the two groups are evaluated. Three hypotheses are proposed from the review of the literature. These are service evaluation habits, importance of service quality dimensions for the individualistic/collectivistic countries, and strong/weak uncertainty avoidance cultures. Consumers from the individualistic countries are considered to care about themselves and demand a higher level of responsiveness and assurance. On the other hand, consumers from high uncertainty avoidance cultures are assumed to rely more on tangible questions of service quality, as these are the only predictable service quality indicators. A t-test and regression analysis are applied to validate the constructs. Results - The respondents from the Anglo-Saxon countries are more generous on service evaluations than Koreans. Researchers have indicated that Americans tend to give higher service evolution scores than European, Mexican, and Korean counterparts. The tendency is the same here. The sample from Anglo-Saxon countries demonstrated higher service evaluation scores on every dimension of SERVQUAL. For the second hypothesis, the respondents from the collectivistic culture rely less on core service dimensions (assurance and responsiveness) due to their tendency to place more value on group harmony than individual interest. However, the third hypothesis was not validated. Conclusions - The study attempted to expand the scope of service marketing to reflect cross-national perspectives. Service quality is known to have a strong influence on customer satisfaction and loyalty behavior. However, this research demonstrated that individuals from different cultural territories respond heterogeneously to the same stimuli. Scholars argue that national cultures are main factors in such deviated behavior. Scholars and global managers should be aware of differences in consumer value judgment mechanisms such as satisfaction, expectations, and perceptions.
With transition to Knowledge society and introduction of information industry, there are many companies which have higher stock price than the suggested value from its financial information. To explain similar cases in capital markets, many researchers focus on non-financial information such as Web Traffic data or intangible assets such as intellectual property rights rather than traditional financial analysis. Besides, the relationships between financial and non-financial information with firm value are changed according to industry lifecycle. As Industry grows, financial information of company is more important for firm valuation in Capital market. We'd like to review the changes of relationships between financial information and firm valuation in Capital market especially for "Software", "Digital Contents", and "Internet" companies listed in Kosdaq market during 2000~2011. The result of data analysis shows the financial information gets more important after 2007. Inversely, it provides analytical bases that related industry gets mature. Also we show that intangible properties are more relevant to stock price of those technical based companies than others.

LL (Leased Line service) is a facility-based service as a traditional business data service, but new competition services, such as FR (Frame Relay), VPN (Virtual Private Network), and ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode), are value-added services. Because of different service classifications, it is hard to gather necessary data for the service providers to plan their market strategies and regulations and policies are also applied asymmetrically to each service provider. Therefore an appropriate market classification is required for the business data services. After various methods of market classification are reviewed, the Hendry model is selected in this paper to analyze substitution-degree among brands or among services. Since the structure of virtual competitions is required for the Hendry model to be applied to data service market, the market is analyzed first by the well-known Porter's model. By the analysis of Porter's model, two virtual competition structures are set up - one is for the competitions among leased line service providers, and the other is for the competitions among business data services such as LL, FR, VPN and ATM. After the Hendry model is applied to each competition structure, it is confirmed that 7 LL service providers do not compete directly, but 2 sub-markets exist for the LL service provisions. However, it is shown that 4 business data services compete directly. Using the Switching Probability Matrix from Hendry model, future market shares of LL service providers and market shares of business data services are forecasted. These empirical results are helpful for service providers to set competitive strategies with the minimization of cannibalization effect and they can easily and efficiently predict their market demands.
Recently, 3D displays are supplied in the 3D markets so that the demand for 3D stereoscopic contents increases. In general, a simple method is to use a stereoscopic camera. As well, the production of 3D from 2D materials is regarded as an important technology. Such conversion works have gained much interest in the field of 3D converting. However, the stereoscopic image generation from a single 2D image is limited to simple 2D to 3D conversion so that the better realistic perception is difficult to deliver to the users. This paper presents a new stereoscopic content production method where foreground objects undergo alive action events. Further stereoscopic animation is viewed on 3D displays. Given a 2D image, the production is composed of background image generation, foreground object extraction, object/background depth maps and stereoscopic image generation The alive objects are made using the geometric transformation (e.g., translation, rotation, scaling, etc). The proposed method is performed on a Korean traditional painting, Danopungjung as well as Pixar's Up. The animated video showed that through the utilization of simple object transformations, more realistic perception can be delivered to the viewers.

The bio-technology industry is a technology-intensive high value added area where R&D and securing core technology are important. Many countries across the world are nationally supporting and nurturing this industry as a next generation growth engine. This study aims to introduce development plan for the bio-tech industry in Korea through analyzing factors for the development of bio-tech industry by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and to set the priorities among such factors. The analysis shows that key element for the development of bio-tech industry is technological capacity in the present and in the year of 2015. It also shows that it is essential to have government support and investment in strengthening R&D and cooperative system of industry, academia and research institute for the development of basic original technology. In addition, it suggested 5 plans for the development of bio-tech industry in Korea including securing new technologies in bio-tech industry, improving efficiency of R&D management system, protecting and culturing traditional bio-tech industry, creating emerging markets and efficiently providing support to nurture bio-venture companies.
