Many plant species are used in China in traditional medicine for the prevention and treatment of cancer. This paper presents some of these species with details on other pharmacologic evaluation and its traditional Chinese meditional uses. The known bioaktivities and some chemical constituents of each of the species given. Information on bioactivities of each species resulting from tests on experimental animals are given. Many of the known chemical constituents of each species are given. Various species of plants elective for various types. In this meeting I will present on some antitumor of the plants which are as follows; (1) Akebia trifoliata(Thunb.)Koidz. ((2) Panax notoginseng(Burk.) F, H, Chen., (3) Ziziphus jujuba Mill., (4) coriolus versicolor(Fr.)Que l., (5) Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim., (6) Ficus carica Linnaeus., (7) Acanthopanax senticosus(Rupr.et Maxim.)Harms., (8) Hibiscus mutabilis Linnaeus., (9) Arctium lappa Linnaeus., (11) Agrimonia pilosa Ledebour and (12) Hedyotis diffusa Willd.

The purpose of this study was to review randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of pes anserinus tendinitis or bursitis (PATB) syndrome in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure database to investigate the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for PATB syndrome. There were 20 RCTs published from 2001 to 2021 which were selected for analysis by publication year, number of samples, evaluation criteria, treatment duration, and treatment method. Out of the 142 retrieved RCTs, 20 were relevant to this review, and had performed Chinese medicine treatments including acupuncture (the most common treatment typically using acupoints SP10, ST35, SP9, and LR8), manipulation (typically using acupoints ST35, SP10, and SP9), and external application therapy (typically herbal medicine) in the treatment of PATB syndrome. Chinese medicine treatments were used widely in the treatment of PATB syndrome. We hope in the future, this review may initiate the development of treatments for PATB syndrome using Korean medicine.

The purpose of this study was is to understand how the network pharmacology databases of traditional medicine in China are established and provide suggestion for successful implementation in Traditional Korean Medicine. We searched for network-pharmacology-related TCM Databases provided on the internet, and analysed their contents. Then, we compared herbs related to Sasang with herbs of the TCM Databases. We chose 8 network-pharmacology-related TCM Databases. They shared information about compounds, herbs, formulae, drugs, targets and diseases, and provided interaction networks between these components. In comparison with herbs related to Sasang, TCMSP Database did not have information about 99 herbs in total, and 25 herbs included in major Sasang formulae. The implications and recommendations for Traditional Korean Medicine researches were discussed. Based on the results of this primary study, more related studies should be carried out in the future.

Objectives : Infectious mononucleosis is a clinical syndrome caused by Epstein-Barr virus that is particularly common in adolescents and children. This study was progressed for current oriental medical treatment of infectious mononucleosis in china. The purpose of this study is the opening oriental medical approach to infectious mononucleosis in Korea Methods : Authors conducted a literature search in data of Traditional Chinese Medical Journal. The data were extracted in a standardized, predefined manner and accessed critically. Results : The study for infectious mononucleosis consists of basic, clinical, experimental study. Basic study consists of etiology & pathogenesis and the rule of treatment. Clinical study consists of symptoms-based treatment and adequate prescription treatment. Experimental study consists of effective herbs and new traditional chinese medical injection. Conclusion : Traditional chinese medical approach using herbs works in children with infectious mononucleosis in Korea.

Objectives There are constant increase numbers of cases mumps in children. The purpose of this study is to analyze traditional Chinese medicine treatments of epidemic mumps in children through traditional Chinese medical journal research. Methods 20 studies were selected based on title keyword "Epidemic mumps" "Child" published in CAJ(China Academic Journal). Study researched about clinical effect, herbs, attachment, moxa, venesection treatments in epidemic mumps in children Results & Conclusions There are so many treatments about epidemic mumps in children through analyzing studies in CAJ. Single and combination traditional Chinese medicine treatment is more effective in epidemic mumps in children. Therefore, we need to study more about epidemic mumps in children and should make more clinical case about it.

The objective of this study was to investigate the diagnosis and treatment of Raynaud disease such as syndrome differentiation and herbal medicine by reviewing Chinese traditional medicine's journals. The journal search was carried out using China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and PubMed from January 2008 to August 2013. Searching key words were the various combination of "Raynaud disease", "traditional chinese medicine", "syndrome differentiation", "herbal medicine". The final selection of 38 studies were selected and summarized by researchers. The syndrome differentiation was classified as yang deficiency and cold syncope, qi stagnation and blood stasis. The most frequently prescribed herbal medication was Dangguisinitang.

Objectives : Final assessment of realized on forecasting studies of the literature sector on traditional Korean medicine (2000-2010) revealed results as follows. Methods : We investigated the related peer-reviewed papers and research project reports through Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System(OASIS) of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine(KIOM) and several publishers. Results : Of total five projects, two were realized and three were partially done. The projects 'It wil be standardized by establishing the concept of traditional Korean medical terms' and 'CDs containing traditional medicine books from China, Japan and Korea wiil be released' were decided to be realized. In addition to those, the projects 'Systematic database will be build up for TKM books', 'translation and annotation versions on TKM old books will be completed', and 'A wide range of literature related to traditional medicine of each Asian countries' were concluded to be partially realized. Five projects on predicting TKM in the year 2006-2007 analyzed in 1996 were evaluated as realized or partially realized. Likewise, the five predictions should be reviewed whether it will be necessary in the future after assessment on their realization. Conclusion : Furthermore, it should be studies if the new projects are needed for the future in addition to the existing challenges.

Objective This study aimed to assess the trend of randomized clinical trials conducted in China involving oral herbal medicine for treating adolescent polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods We used the China National Knowledge Infrastructure as our primary resource and conducted a search using keywords such as "PCOS", "多囊卵巢" and "多囊卵巢综合征". We identified and analyzed seven RCTs. Results 1. The group receiving herbal medicine treatment demonstrated significant improvements in total efficiency, sex hormone levels, and ultrasound-measurable values compared to the control group. 2. Epimedii Herba (淫羊藿), Alviae Miltiorrhizae Radix (丹參), and Angelicae Gigantis et Acutilobae Radix (當歸) were among the most used herbs in Traditional Chinese medicine decoctions for treating PCOS. Conclusions The findings suggest that oral herbal medicine is an effective treatment for patients with PCOS. This study provides a foundation for future research on the use of oral herbal medicine in PCOS treatment.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness and safety of herbal medicine treatment for Colles fractures through a systematic review and to provide evidence for applying herbal medicine treatment. Methods We searched for papers published from January 1, 2018 to October 18, 2023, in PubMed and China National Knowledge Infrastructure based on the keyword 'Colles fracture', 'Chinese traditional medicine', 'Chinese medicine', 'herbal medicine', 'drugs, chinese herbal', 'kampo', 'decoction', 'capsule', 'powder'. Results A total of 51 studies were searched at first research. Then the studies were screening according to the criteria, and 13 studies were finally selected. The oriental medical intervention analyzed in this study was an orally administered herbal medicine. Conclusions Studies have shown that herbal medicine has a significant effect on Colles fractures. However, all studies were assessed as having a high risk of bias. In the future, further well-designed studies are needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of herbal medicine for Colles fractures and reduce the risk of bias.
