Purpose - Based on preceding studies, this thesis focuses on the finding of the definition and category of mobile tourism application and deriving out its characteristics. And after looking for how they make influences on continuous intention to use, we make empirical study with TAM model. Research design, data, and methodology - There are many Chinese tourist who visit Korea with user's constant intention to use of tourism application. This study is to find out the definition and category of mobile tourism application through research of preceding study and to fomulate the research model and hypothesis that how tourism application attributes (convenience, interaction, accessibility, local basis, security) affect constant intention to use of mobile tourism application. In order to verify a hypothesis, we conducted a survey for Chinese users of tourism application. In empirical study, we analyzed a structure model for frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, validity analysis through IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 and IBM SPSS AMOS 21.0 Results - Among tourism applications, convenience, interaction, accessibility and local basis have positive effects on both perceived usefulness and perceived easiness respectively. But security does not. Also perceived easiness has a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Finally, perceived usefulness and perceived easiness have positive effect on constant intent to use. Conclusions - Tourism application enterprises should put emphasis on design such as menu or function in order to simplify the operation of new services for new customers. Therefore, comfortable user interface and development of useful function can improve tourism application. Consequently, it leads to the promotion of tourism application. Also, when users perceive tourism application as a useful media which is easy, comfortable and useful content, the degree of constant intention to use becomes increased. It is important to provide plentiful and useful contents for customers and to develop user interface such as easy operation because these factors have positive effects on constant demand and use of tourism application.

The objectives of this research have been focussed on 1) developing prediction techniques for the flash flood and landslide based on rainfall prediction data in agricultural area and 2) developing an integrated forecasting system for the abrupt disasters using USN based real-time disaster sensing techniques. This study contains following steps to achieve the objective; 1) selecting rainfall prediction data, 2) constructing prediction techniques for flash flood and landslide, 3) developing USN and communication network protocol for detecting the abrupt disaster suitable for rural area, & 4) developing mobile application and SMS based early warning service system for local resident and tourist. Local prediction model (LDAPS, UM1.5km) supported by Korean meteorological administration was used for the rainfall prediction by considering spatial and temporal resolution. NRCS TR-20 and infinite slope stability analysis model were used to predict flash flood and landslide. There are limitations in terms of communication distance and cost using Zigbee and CDMA which have been used for existing disaster sensors. Rural suitable sensor-network module for water level and tilting gauge and gateway based on proprietary RF network were developed by consideration of low-cost, low-power, and long-distance for communication suitable for rural condition. SMS & mobile application forecasting & alarming system for local resident and tourist was set up for minimizing damage on the critical regions for abrupt disaster. The developed H/W & S/W for integrated abrupt disaster forecasting & alarming system was verified by field application.

One of the most frequent uses of Internet is data gathering. Data can be about many themes but perhaps one of the most demanded fields is the tourist information. Normally, databases that support these systems are maintained manually. However, there is other approach, that is, to extract data automatically, for instance, from textual public information existing in the Web. This approach consists of extracting data from textual sources(public or not) and to serve them totally or partially to the user in the form that he/she wants. The obtained data can maintain automatically databases that support different systems as WAP mobile telephones, or commercial systems accessed by Natural Language Interfaces and others. This process has three main actors. The first is the information itself that is present in a particular context. The second is the information supplier (extracting data from the existing information) and the third is the user or information searcher. This added value chain reuse and give value to existing data even in the case that these data were not tough for the last use by the use of the described technology. The main advantage of this approach is that it makes independent the information source from the information user. This means that the original information belongs to a particular context, not necessarily the context of the user. This paper will describe the application based on this approach developed by the authors in the FLEX EXPRIT IV n$^{\circ}$EP29158 in the Work-package "Knowledge Extraction & Data mining"where the information captured from digital newspapers is extracted and reused in tourist information context.

연간 1,600여만 명이 찾는 대구 앞산에는 10여 개의 골짜기가 분포하며, 골짜기를 따라 이어지는 등산로에서는 다양한 지형 관찰이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 탐방객들의 접근성과 지형자원 볼거리 면에서 세 곳의 골짜기(고산골.안지랑골.달비골)를 대상으로 지오투어리즘(geo-tourism) 관점에서 지형관찰 학습장 및 탐방로를 조성하여 보았다. 1) 앞산에서 볼 수 있는 대표적인 지형은 하식애, 풍화동굴, 수직암벽, 건열화석, 연흔화석, 습곡지형, 판상절리지형, 너덜지대, 선상지, 돌개구멍, 단층선, 가마솥바위, 주상절리지형, 변성암 등이다. 2) 앞산에서 볼 수 있는 지형을 대상으로 일반인도 이해할 수 있을 정도 수준의 설명문을 개발하였다. 3) 탐방객들의 학습효과를 높이기 위하여 골짜기별, 탐방객 체류 시간별로 아홉 가지의 지형관찰 탐방로를 개발하였다.

생태관광은 기존의 대량관광의 폐해와 환경문제의 갈등으로부터 탄생된 대안관광의 한 형태로서 환경, 경제, 교육, 문화 등의 요소들을 광범위하게 포함한다. 생태관광은 자연환경 지역에서 자원의 보호, 보존, 지역경제의 활성화, 수준 높은 관광서비스 제공을 통하여 지속 가능한 개발을 구현할 수 있는 환경친화적인 관광으로 정의할 수 있다. 친환경적인 관광산업으로서 생태관광은 지역환경 개선 및 소득증대 효과를 통한 농, 어촌지역의 활성화 수단으로서 또한 도시민들에게 양질의 관광, 휴양기회를 제공함으로써 국민의 여가욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 공간으로서의 역할을 기대할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 생태관광 이론적 고찰을 통해 생태관광 개념을 정리하고 이를 바탕으로 우리 나라 농, 어촌지역의 생태관광지 개발에 적합한 계획모형을 제시하였다. 이와 함께 전라남도 완도군 정도리지역에 계획모형을 적용하는 사례연구를 수행하였다. 사례연구를 통해 본 생태관광 계획모형은 농, 어촌지역의 생태관광지 조성에 있어 실제적인 계획과정으로서 가능성을 보였다.

본 논문은 관광객의 정보이용을 고려한 관광주유행동 분석 목적으로 구조방정식 시스템을 적용한 모형을 구축하였다. 관광주유행동은 관광지 도착이후부터 귀가까지를 다루는 것으로 관광지내 활동과 시간, 관광지점수 등의 지표로 설명하고 있다. 이러한 관광주유행동지표들은 상호 상관관계가 있다는 가정에 구조방정식의 내생변수로 취급하였다. 또한 내생변수들은 지역인지도, 정보이용행동, 개인속성 등에 영향을 받는 것으로 가정하고 있다. 본 모형의 사례분석은 일본 후지 5호 관광지의 관광실태자료를 이용해 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 관광주유행동 모형은 내생변수간의 공분산관계를 통계적 분석으로 다루는 것이 가능해 기존 이산선택 방법론보다 간단하게 관광지의 정보이용 효과를 분석할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

정보통신기술의 발달로 관광객들에 제공되는 새로운 기술 기반의 관광콘텐츠들이 개발되고 활용되어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 제주지역의 환경자산으로서 곶자왈을 테마로 구성된 VR관광콘텐츠인 "비밀의 바람 숲"을 이용한 관광객을 대상으로 이용만족을 살펴보는데 있다. 이를 위해 문헌 고찰을 통해 연구모형을 제시하였으며, VR관광콘텐츠을 이용한 관광객 대상으로 277부의 유효 표본을 확보하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 구조모델의 연구가설(H1~H5)은 채택 되었다. 첫째, 개인혁신성은 지각된 용이성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인혁신성은 이용만족에 영향을 미쳤으며, 지각된 용이성은 이용만족에 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결과는 VR기기 관광콘텐츠 개발과 활용에서 있어 학술적 실무적으로 의미가 있다. 학술적으로는 콘텐츠 응용에 관점에서 VR관광콘텐츠에 대한 관광소비자 관련 연구들에 관광활동, 행동, 태도 등 기초이론을 제공될 수 있으며, 실무적으로는 VR관광콘텐츠를 활용하고자 하는 관광마케터들과 VR기기를 활용하는 콘텐츠 개발자들에게 관광자원의 활용하는 VR기기 스토리 구성과 타켓 시장을 고려한 콘텐츠 기획과 실행에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

최근 스마트폰 보급이 3천만 대를 넘어서고, 증강현실(Augmented Reality) 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지면서, 많은 분야에서 증강현실 기술과의 접목이 시도되고 있다. 문화유산 분야도 그 중에 한 분야이며, 그동안 인터넷이나 3D 기술 등을 이용하여 구축되던 문화유산도 이용자가 보다 현실감 있게 체험할 수 있는 증강현실 기술로 빠르게 전환되고 있다. 국내외 관광객들로 늘 붐비는 서울의 궁궐들은 턱없이 부족한 문화유산 해설사나 리플릿 등 단조로운 안내서비스로 일관하고 있어, 모바일 시대에 좀 더 입체적이고 종합적인 안내서비스 제공이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 증강현실 기술을 활용하여 덕수궁 관광안내서비스 앱(App)구축에 적용하였으며, 지금까지 위치기반 증강현실 기술보다 앞서는, 비 마커(Markerless)기반 증강현실 인식기술을 실제로 덕수궁의 다양한 건축물에 적용하여 구현하였다. 현실 세계에 있는 궁궐 현판이나, 문양, 입체물인 임금님의 좌대 등 특정 이미지를 인식하여 가상의 세계로 전환(트래킹, Tracking)하여 훼손된 문화재를 3D로 재현하고, 과거의 사진과 현재 건물을 합성하여, 그 당시의 시대적인 모습을 엿볼 수 있게 해줌으로써 현실감과 몰입감을 높이고 흥미를 유발함으로써, 문화재 관람이나 역사를 쉽게 이해시켜주는 효과가 있다. 또한 스마트폰에서 스토리텔링 기반의 문화유산 구현을 통해 증강현실(Augmented Reality)이라는 IT 신기술과 인문학과의 융합(Convergence)을 시도하여, 증강현실 기술이 실제 현실 세계를 기반으로 무한한 창의성을 발휘할 수 있다는 강점이 있음을 입증할 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 번화가나 관광지 등 주차공간의 수요가 높은 지역에서 주차하면서 발생할 수 있는 불편함을 해결하기 위해 개발한 주차안내 서비스를 소개한다. 실제 주차장을 측정하고 자동차를 운전하면서 개발하는 데 어려움이 있어, 임시 주차장을 만들고 Arduino RC Car를 만들어서 실제 자동차를 대신하였다. Open CV를 기반으로 한 영상처리로 전체 주차장, 주차 가능 공간, 주차 완료된 공간을 확인하고 움직이는 자동차를 추적할 수 있도록 하였으며, 이 정보를 사용자가 애플리케이션을 통해 확인할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 사용자는 애플리케이션을 통해 원하는 주차공간을 예약할 수 있으며, 길 찾기 알고리즘을 도입하여 선택한 주차 칸까지의 최적 경로를 안내받을 수 있다.

세계적으로 관광시장 규모가 확대되면서 세계 경제에서 관광이 차지하는 위상 또한 높아지고 있다. 서울 관광 역시 단기간에 양적 성장을 이루었고, 외래 관광객 유치 규모 세계 7위이자 국제회의 개최 규모로는 3년 연속 세계 3위를 달성했다. 하지만 이러한 서울의 관광 산업 성장세에 비해 서울을 방문하는 외국인 관광객을 대상으로 한 모바일 애플리케이션은 한정적이며, 그마저도 사용률이 저조한 실정이다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해소하기 위해 외국인을 대상으로 다양한 편의 기능을 포함한 모바일 애플리케이션을 개발하고 그 과정과 결과에 관해 서술하고 있다. 본 논문에서 서술하고 있는 모바일 애플리케이션에서는 카테고리별로 관광지, 식당, 숙박, 쇼핑 등의 정보를 제공하며 그 외에도 행사, 환율 정보와 번역, 지도, 길 찾기 기능을 제공하는 등 다양한 정보와 기능들을 하나의 애플리케이션에서 쾌적하게 이용할 수 있도록 통합 구현하였다.
