Voltage Vector Selection Area of the Direct Torque Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

  • The control of stator flux, torque angle, excitation torque, reluctance torque and total torque of the direct torque control (DTC) for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) are studied in this paper. Simplified expressions to represent the changes of these variables due to the application of a voltage vector are given. Finally, a voltage vector selection area and the implementation of a voltage vector selection strategy are proposed.

DSP를 이용한 SRM 드라이브의 PLL 제어방식에 관한 연구 (Researching to PLL Control-mothod of SRM Drive based on DSP)

  • The switched reluctance drive system is known to provide a good adjustable speed and torque characteristics. However, acoustic noise and higher torque ripple are drawbacks. These drawbacks show the fact that SRM drive is not operated with mmf current specified for dwell angle and input voltage. Reducing torque ripple and having precise speed control, PLL technique is adopted. The PLL system in conjunction with dynamic dwell angle control scheme has good speed regulation characteristics. A TMS320F240 based on the DSP is used to realizing this drive system. Test results show that the system has the ability to achieve good dynamic and precise speed control.

하악운동 회전량과 과로의 형태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Amount of Mandibular Rotation and Pattern of Condylar Path)

  • The author performed this study to investige the relationship between condylar movements recorded with Pantronicⓡ and mandibular rotational torque movements with BioEGNⓡ. For this study 56 patients with Temporomandibular disorders(TMD) and 30 dental students without any masticatory signs and symptoms were selected as patients group and control group, respectively. The items recorded with Pantronicⓡ(Denar Corp., USA) were immediate side-shift, progressive side-shift, angle of orbiting path, protrusive path and PRI. BioEGNⓡ(Bioelectric gnathography, Bioresearch Inc., USA) were used to measure the amounts of mandibular rotational torque movements in frontal and horizontal plane, and the distance of mandibular translation at incisal area. Amount of mandibular rotational torque movement depicted between the condyles was automatically analysed by angle and difference in frontal and horizontal plane. The obtained data were processed with SAS program and the conclusion of this study were as follows : 1. Mean values of items between patients group and control group in Pantronic measurements were not significantly different except in left protrusive path and in Pantronic Reproducibility Index(PRI). There were no significant difference of condylar paths by preferred chewing side and affected side between the two groups. 2. The amount of mandibular rotational torque movements were differed in frontal angle and difference on protrusion, and in frontal and in horizontal difference on left excursion between the two groups. But the amounts of translatory movements were actually same on all eccentric movements. 3. The amount of mandibular rotational torque movements with splint mere almost not changed from those without splint, with the exception of in horizontal measurements on protrusion. 4. The correlations of items between in Pantronic measurements and in BioEGN measurements wert not consistently, significant, however, generally the ISS related significantly with horizontal torque movement positively, and with frontal torque movement negatively on the contrary, the PSS showed positive correlation with frontal torque movement, and negative correlation with horizontal torque movement.

고정밀 체결토크 성능 너트런너 시스템 개발 (Development of High Precision Fastening torque performance Nut-runner System)

  • 현재 자동차 산업과 함께 발전하고 있는 전자제품을 포함하는 전반적인 제조업 분야에서 초정밀 제어를 요하는 너트 체결기가 요구되고 있고 너트 체결시의 중요한 성능 요소는 체결력 부족에 의한 풀림과 과도한 체결에 의한 파손 및 강한 진동이나 외부 충격에 강건한 체결력 유지 등 조립 품질의 유지와 향상 및 제품 수명 보장을 위해 정확한 조임 토크, 각도 등이 요구된다. 현재 너트런너라는 제품명으로 판매되는 너트 체결기는 고토크 및 정밀토크제어, 정밀 각도제어 그리고 생산량 증대를 위한 고속운전 등의 특성들이 필요하며 고출력이 가능한 BLDC모터 및 너트체결기 전용의 정교한 토크제어에 필요한 고정밀 토크제어드라이버와 고속, 저속, 고응답의 정밀 속도 제어시스템의 개발이 요청되고 있으나 현재 고객이 요구하는 고정밀, 고토크 및 고속 작업특성을 만족시키지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 정확한 체결 토크 및 고속 회전에서도 저진동 및 저소음을 구현할 수 있는 d축, q축의 좌표변환에 의한 벡터제어와 토크제어기반의 BLDC모터 가변속 제어와 너트런너의 제어 기술을 제안하고 여러 실험을 통해 성능 결과를 분석하여 제안한 제어가 너트런너 성능을 만족하는지를 확인 하였다. 또한 일단 운전 체결 방식(One Stage 운전 체결 방식)으로 패턴을 프로그램하여 10,000[rpm] 고속 운전 후 목표 토크로 정확히 체결됨을 확인하였으며 토크 리플에 의한 가체결 토크 검출의 문제점도 외란관측기을 사용하여 해결하였고 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

신경회로망을 이용한 SRM의 토크 추정과 스위칭 각 제어 (A Torque Estimation and Switching Angle Control of SRM using Neural Network)

  • 본 논문에서는 신경회로망을 이용한 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기(Switched Reluctance Motor, SRM)의 간편한 순시토크 추정기법과 스위칭 각 제어에 관해 연구하였다. 간단한 구조와 높은 효율 등의 많은 장점을 가지고 있는 SRM은 부하토크와 회전속도에 따라 운전특성이 달라지므로 최적운전을 위해서는 스위칭 각 제어가 필수적이다. 이러한 스위칭 각은 고정자 및 회전자 극호각, 토크 및 속도 능의 여러 변수들에 따라 달라지기 때문에 적정 스위칭 시점을 결정하는데 있어서 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 부하토크 및 회전속도에 따라 효율이 가장 높은 적정 스위칭 각을 실험을 통해 선정한 후 신경회로망(Neural Network, NN)을 이용하여 전동기 제어에 적용하는 방안에 관해 고찰하였다. 또한 스위칭 각 제어에 있어서 필수적인 순시토크의 추정에 있어서도 신경회로망을 이용하여 인덕턴스의 비선형적인 특성이 고려되도록 하였다. 구현된 스위칭 각 제어기를 실제 시스템에 적용하였으며, 고효율 측면에서 선정된 스위칭 각 제어기의 동특성을 확인함으로써 스위칭 각 제어기의 적합성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper present a transient experiment to verify the performance of limited angle torque motor(LATM) designed using electromagnetic transient analysis. LATM requires access to the transitional state to the torque performance evaluation. Because LATM moves the rotor using a magnetic torque generated by the interaction of the permanent magnet and the armature winding. A separate control is not applied, it is switched on at the same time under the conditions that the current applied to the armature winding. It was compared to the transient analysis of the experimental data of LATM for the verification of approach method in the transitional state.

  • EPS(Electric Power Steering) systems have many advantages over traditional hydraulic power steering systems in space efficiency engine efficiency and environmental compatibility. In this paper an EPS system control logic using a torque map is proposed. The main function of the EPS system is to reduce the steering torque exerted by a driver by assist of an electric motor. Vehcile speed steering torque and steering wheel angle are measured and fed back to the EPS control system where appropriate assist torque is generated to assist the operator's steering effort. Another capability of the EPS system for easy adaptation to different steering feels via simple tuning is demonstrated by the experiments. It will be also verified that the EPS system can also improve damping and return performance of the steering wheel by control of the assist motor.

저전압 SR모터의 퍼지로직 기반 전상각 제어 (Fuzzy logic based advance angle control for low voltage SRM)

  • In this paper, a fuzzy advance angle control method is described to drive an industrial low voltage SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor) for 10kW forklift truck. SRM has a highly non-linear characteristic that is due to change the rotor and stator. And low voltage SRM is designed that its phase resistance and phase inductance is very low to inject high current into the phase windings. In this reason, the proper current control is necessary to drive the low voltage SRM efficiently. SRM has positive torque at increasing inductance region and negative torque at decreasing inductance region. Due to this reason, the current has to be built up in the increasing phase inductance part as soon as possible. Therefore, the phase switch must be turned on before the phase inductance increases, and this angle is called as the advance angle. Also, the phase current has to be dropped before the phase inductance decreases. Fuzzy logic is a flexible and general-purposed method of implementing non-linear functions and as such it is useful in control applications. Consequently, we designed a fuzzy advance angle controller to control the phase current appropriately.

  • In the high speed range for salient type synchronous reluctance motor, the effect of iron loss can not be negligible. We have investigated the voltage equations including iron loss from the model that is added the equivalent iron loss in the equivalent inductance in series. In this paper, we derive Ld linear approximate equation from saturation range of Ld, Lq vs applied voltage characteristics and obtain equations including saturation and iron loss related to maximum torque control using Ld. The effect of saturation and iron loss is investigated under maximum torque control. And we show that the proposed maximum torque control scheme achieves the desired performances through experimental results.

  • Recently, AC servo motor has expanded its application areas the to the development of the power semi-conductor and control technology. But it has large torque ripple for its nonlinear characteristics and phase commutaion. In this paper, we proposed the switching angle overlapping method, and current control using tracking method in order to generate the constant torque of AC servo motor that has the trapezoidal back e.m.f. It is compared the these types of control method with the characteristics through simulation. We show that these methods lead the torque ripple to reduce and makes the position and speed characterlistics improved effectively. Also we prove that current control using tracking method is the best way to reduce torque ripple among the these types of control method.
