IPTV 환경에서 스마트카드 복제에 강건한 다중 셋톱박스 인증기법 (A Robust Multiple Set-Top Box Authentication Scheme for IPTV Against Smart Card Cloning Attack)

  • IPTV 시스템에서 콘텐츠 및 서비스 제공자의 권익보호는 수신제한시스템(CAS, Conditional Access System) 및 디지털저작권관리(DRM, Digital Right Management)를 통해서 이루어진다. 특히 CAS의 경우, 계층화된 인증키를 사용하여 권한이 있는 사용자에게만 암호화된 콘텐츠를 복호화할 수 있도록 한다. 하지만 CAS가 콘텐츠 제공자와 스마트카드(SC, Smart Card) 사이 구간만의 보안을 제공하기 때문에 셋톱박스(STB, Set-Top Box)와 SC 간 보호 받지 못하는 채널을 도청하는 McCormac Hack 공격이나 SC 복제 공격으로부터 시스템을 보호할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 McCormac Hack 공격뿐 만 아니라 SC 복제 공격에도 강건하면서 다중 STB를 지원할 수 있는 SC / STB 인증 기법을 제안한다. SC 복제 공격을 막기위해 SC등록 단계에서 STB와 SC를 바인딩하였던 기존 기법은 다중 STB환경을 지원하지 못한다. 제안하는 시스템은 가입자관리시스템에서 STB 정보를 IPTV의 양방향 채널 특성을 이용하여 동적으로 갱신함으로서 사용자의 다중 STB를 효과적으로 지원한다.

  • 디지털 방송은 양방향 통신을 기반으로 하여 고객의 요구를 만족시키는 다양한 부가 서비스를 제공한다. 새로운 방송환경을 위한 중요한 요소 중 하나는 분산되어있는 환경에서 여러 소비자와 공급자간의 상호운용성의 유지에 있다. 이를 위하여 디지털 방송을 위한 메타데이터의 표준이 제안되었고, TV-Anytime 메타데이터는 이러한 요구를 만족시키기 위한 차세대 방송 표준 메타데이터의 하나이다. 한편, 사용자 측면에서 다양한 방송 서비스 및 부가 서비스를 원활히 활용하기 위해서 방송사용자단말(Set-Top Box: STB) 환경에서 메타데이터를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 연구들이 진행중이다. 본 논문에서는 TV-Anytime 메타데이터를 저 비용, 저 사양의 STB에서 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 메타데이터 관리 시스템을 제안한다. STB 기반 관리시스템은 메타데이터의 저장을 위한 저장엔진과 검색을 위한 XQuery엔진으로 구성되며, 효율적인 저장과 검색을 위해서 인덱싱 방법을 제안하고 있다. 또한. XML 검색을 위한 표준 질의어인 XQuery를 방송용 메타데이터 검색을 위한 질의어로 사용하는 우리의 메타데이터 관리 시스템은 향후 다양한 방송 응용들 사이에서 상호운용성(Interoperability)을 보장할 뿐만 아니라 메타데이터의 확장에도 유연하게 대처할 수 있다.

  • Computer-based systems operating between two or more co-operating organizations as part of their business relationship are generally referred to as inter-organizational systems(IOS). IOS automates aspects of transactional work between organizations and coordinate other activities. These systems facilitate organizational interaction as well as flows of materials, services and information. This planning provides as business direction for IOS applications, coordinates the efforts of participants, and deals with technical and non-technical IOS issues. This paper seeks to research the effect of strategic determinants of IOS to the efficiency of IOS. The determinants that selected from prior researches are top management support, is support and vendor/consultant support. The results show that the effect of top management support to efficiency of IOS was significant and this effect mediates the effect of other factors.

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the major determinants affecting the usage and performance of information technologies in Daedeok Valley and Zhongguancun venture firms. The development of the research model is based on the theoretical linkages of IDT (Innovation Diffusion Theory) and TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). Seven hypotheses are derived and tested using regression analysis. The results from regression analysis suggest that the usage of Information technologies is affected by innovation characteristics (perceived usefulness) as well as organizational characteristics (top management support, employee capability on information technology acceptance) in Daedeok Valley venture firms. But, The results from regression analysis suggest that the usage of Information technologies is affected by innovation characteristics (perceived usefulness), organizational characteristics (top management support, employee capability on information technology acceptance), and external pressure (environmental uncertainty, intensity of competition) in Zhongguancun venture firms.

  • A management planning is an index to accomplish the goal of business enterprise and a managing guide of the top manager. It is a top manager's authority with he gives directions at the beginning of the budget year and has something to do with a responsible accounting. If we correlate this management planning with an area of accounting, we can subdivide it into followings; production and marketing schedule, demand-supply program of raw material, demand-supply program of the personnel and lobor cost program, facility investment program, balance fund program, profit and loss, and financial position program. I think, in the field of accounting for the sake of the management planning, there are motivation accounting, responsible accounting, divisional system accounting, evaluating accounting and so on. A management planning should be accomplishe and as it is accomplished, a business is going to be grown up and developed. Especially, it must be set up on the ground of the long-term strategies. When the accomplishment through the management planning, which is a social responibility that all the business enterprise are seeking after, is attained, it makes the development of business possible and we cannot dent that it is closely connected with the national economic development.

  • The study aims to provide some evidence of the effects of CSR practices on financial-based brand equity in Malaysia. Nowadays, many companies have embraced corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices because CSR is a vital component of the current competitive and complex business arena. It contributes greatly to social, environmental, and economic condition. With CSR practices, companies are able to achieve many benefits and there is evidence that CSR practices predict higher brand equity. However, little evidence has been produced concerning the effects of CSR practices on financial aspects of brand equity in developing countries such as Malaysia. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the effects of CSR practices on financial based brand equity among Malaysia Top 100 brand. A CSR checklist instrument was used in the current study to examine the extent of CSR practiced. The results indicated that PLCs that were actively involved in CSR practices such as environmental, community, workplace and marketplace, found that this involvement enhanced their brand equity. The findings provide useful support and evidence for the management of PLCs in Malaysia, as well as companies in other developing countries, to engage more in CSR practices as a core element of their strategic and brand management.

Factors Affecting HR Analytics Adoption: A Systematic Review Using Literature Weighted Scoring Approach

  • In the era of disruptive change, a data-driven approach is vital to Human Resource Management (HRM) of any leading organization, for it is used to gain a competitive advantage. HR analytics (HRA) has emerged as innovative technologies since advanced analytics, i.e., predictive or prescriptive analytics, were widely used in the High Performing Organizations (HPOs). Therefore, many organizations elevate themselves to become HPOs through Data Science on the "people side." This paper proposes a systematic literature review using the Literature Weighted Scoring (LWS) to develop a conceptual framework based on three adoption theories, which are the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE), Diffusion of Innovation (DOI), and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The results show that a total of 13 theory-derived factors are determined as influential factors affecting HRA adoption, and the top three factors are "Quantitative Self-Efficacy," "Top Management Support," and "Data Availability." The conceptual framework with hypotheses is proposed to provide a foundation for further studies on organizational HRA adoption.

웹 기술 융합을 통한 정보시스템 성공 요인 (The Study of Factors on Information System Success through Web Assimilation)

  • 본 연구에서는 조직 내에 스며든 웹 기술이 얼마나 해당 조직에 융합되어 정보시스템의 성공에 이바지하는지 알아보고자 수행되었다. 위계적 회귀분석 등을 통해 확인한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 최고 경영진 지원, 전략적 투자 정당성, 그리고 컴퓨터 접근과 사용은 웹 기술 융합에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 또한 웹 기술 융합은 정보시스템 프로젝트의 성공에 유의한 영향을 가지고 있음도 확인하였다. 둘째, 웹 기술 융합을 전략 차원과 활동 차원으로 구분하여 확인한 결과 전략 차원에서는 최고 경영진 지원이 정보시스템 성공에 가장 큰 영향력을 가진 반면 활동 차원에서는 전략적 투자 정당성이 제일 중요한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 정보시스템 프로젝트의 성공에 영향을 미치는 웹 기술 융합에 있어서 세부 차원 중 전략 차원이 활동 차원보다 높은 성공요인임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 웹 기술과 같은 정보기술은 조직의 성공을 위한 강력한 사업도구이며 높은 수익의 원천이 될 것이다.

면접상황에서 신체적 매력도와 의복이 여성지원자의 평가에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Physical Attractiveness and Dress on Evaluation of Female Job Applicants)

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of physical attractiveness and dress on evaluation of female job Applicants in terms of suitable employment potential and job- type. The study was a 2$\times$3 between subject factorial design with two levels of attractiveness (attractive, moderately attractive) and three levels of dress image(masculine, androgynous, feminine). A group of clothing experts and the middle.level management staffs within a large corporation selected two models(attractive, moderately attractive) through two-step evaluation Process after viewing photographs of 50 female university students. Dresses in three levels were selected by a group of five experts. Two models were photographed with controlled background in three different clothes. Data were collected from 162 management level staffs enrolled in the Top Business Management, The Top Policy Science and the Top Press Information Graduated School of Korea University. Each respondent saw photograph and evaluated the applicant in terms of eight items of employment potential and suitable job type (management position vs. secretary) The results of this research were as follows: 1. Physical attractiveness had significant influences on applicants 'employment potential. Attractive applicant's emplolyment potential was evaluated higher than moderately attract live applicant. 2. Dress had little influence on female job applicants 'employment potential, but dress of androgynous image was evaluated relatively positively. 3. Physical attractiveness had some influences on the evaluation of suitable job-type. The attractive applicant was judged to fit in as a secretary and the moderately attractive model in management position.
