The rapidly growing global population increases the awareness of water, energy, and food security worldwide. The concept of Water, Energy, and Food nexus (hereafter, WEF nexus) has been widely introduced as a new resources management concept that integrate the water, energy, and food in a single management framework. Recently, WEF nexus analyzes not only the interconnections among the resources, but also considers the external factors (such as environment, climate change, policy, finance, etc) to enhance the resources sustainability by proper understanding of their relations. A nation-level resources management is quite complex task since multiple regions (e.g., watersheds, cities, and counties) with different characteristics are spatially interconnected and transfer the resources each other. This study proposes a multiple region WEF nexus simulation and transfer model. The model is equipped with three simulation modules, such as local nexus simulation module, regional resources transfer module, and optimal investment planning module. The model intends to determine an optimal capital investment plan (CIP), such as build-up of power plants, water/waste water treatment plants, farmland development and to determine W-E-F import/export decisions among areas. The objective is to maximize overall resources sustainability while minimize financial cost. For demonstration, the proposed model is applied to a semi-hypothetical study area with three different characterized cities. It is expected the model can be used as a decision support tool for a long-term resources management planning process.

Strategic management of universities is crucial for the regional competitiveness due to the high impact of universities on the economic growth of regions through entrepreneurial training and support. The study aimed to investigate the HEInnovate self-assessment tool, valuable in building entrepreneurship-oriented strategy, by considering the case of Turan University. The tool can be used to study entrepreneurial capabilities of the university and make strong management decisions. The self-assessment allows getting feedback from all stakeholders, including external ones, which helps to make institutional changes to influence the regional economic growth. The framework of the research is based on the theories of strategic management and regional competitiveness, which can be deployed with the HEInnovate self-assessment recommendations and findings. The research methodology comprises objective and functional approaches to system analysis. HEInnovate self-assessment by Turan university revealed some weaknesses in the university strategy and helped make some recommendations, namely, the university's entrepreneurial ecosystem must act as part of a regional business support ecosystem to provide input into local economic development, attract more international faculty and faculty with more practical experience, create an entrepreneurial culture across staff of the university, address a lack of internal structures to support staff, and improve university-business cooperation.

CII BM&M(Benchmarking & Metrics) in USA and DTI(Department of Trade and Industry) in UK have built up systems that enable performance measuring and made the results of performance measurement comparable between projects to utilize them as benchmarking tools. By comparing the results of performance measurement, it is possible to grasp the success level of project management and to establish the direction of management. However, construction projects are much diversified and even those projects with the same work type have different attributes. Therefore, simply comparing the results of project performance measurement without considering the characteristics of projects is not justifiable and affects the reliability of the benchmarking results. Therefore, to solve this problem, this study presents a methodology that makes it possible to compare the individual construction projects considering various characteristics. The benefits and importance of project characteristics to overall project performance will be quantitatively expressed and they will be reflected on the results of performance management. By maximally converting multiple projects with different characteristics into the same projects through a new methodology to convert different projects into the same level utilizing such utility-bases and comparing the performances of those projects, project performance results can be utilized in project management as a tool for more accurate decision making and as a robust benchmarking tool.

Purpose: This study aimed to develop a self-management mobile app for adults with osteoarthritis based on a self-determination theory to use it as a nursing intervention tool, and to evaluate the effects of the developed mobile app on adults' basic psychological needs, indexes of osteoarthritis, self-management and quality of life. Methods: The 56 participants were randomly assigned to either the experimental group (n=28) or the control group (n=28). The participants of the experimental group used a self-management mobile app for 12 weeks after the pretest, and two posttests were taken at the end of every 6 weeks. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS/WIN 25.0 for Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA. Results: Basic psychological needs, indexes of osteoarthritis, self-management, and quality of life score of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusion: Our findings suggest that mobile app intervention can support improvements in psychological needs, symptoms of osteoarthritis and quality of life in adults with osteoarthritis. It is recommended that the developed mobile app be used as a nursing intervention tool for adults with osteoarthritis in the community.

본 논문에서는 발달장애 아동의 교육 및 치료에 있어서 감각, 인지훈련을 효과적으로 할 수 있는 에듀테인먼트 플랫폼을 제시한다. 이를 위해 임베디드 하드웨어를 개발하고 여기서 재생할 콘텐츠를 제작하기 위한 저작도구, 학습 결과를 확인할 수 있는 관리도구, 학습 상황을 실시간으로 모니터링하는 도구를 개발하였다. 발달장애 아동의 특성을 관찰 분석하여 개발한 하드웨어는 주의집중을 위한 감각훈련을 집중적으로 할 수 있도록 시각, 청각, 촉각 등의 자극을 제공한다. 이와 함께 개발한 소프트웨어는 특수교사 이외의 비전문가도 쉽게 교육용 콘텐츠를 만들고 학습 현장이외에서도 학습상황을 볼 수 있도록 하는 기능을 제공한다. 또한, 학습한 결과를 다음 학습단계로 적용할 수 있도록 이를 보관하고 살펴 볼 수 있는 기능도 제공한다. 이를 통해 시간, 장소의 제한 없이 효과적으로 반복 학습을 수행이 가능하다. 개발한 플랫폼을 직접 교육현장에 적용해봄으로써 주의집중과 학습 능력을 높이는데 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The ultimate goal of health promotion programs is to improve the quality of life through promoting community health. Since the performance of health promotion programs are greatly affected by the quality of the planning and implementation process of the programs, the proper quality assessment of the program process is very important. According to existing literature, the tool for assessing the quality of the process and implementation as well as the outcome. However, no assessment tool for the quality of the process of health promotion programs has been developed in Korea. The purpose of the study is to develop a quality assessment tool for the process of health promotion programs being conducted at public health centers in Korea. The quality assessment tool developed in the study consists of the following four domains： strategic planning (14 items), program management (11 items), monitoring and evaluation (13 items), and resources and information (15 items). The strategic planning deals with the function of the planning staff and committees, community data analysis, the feasibility of the program, and the approach methods for attaining the goal of the program. The program management includes items on the qualification and power of the program staff. Monitoring and evaluation deals with the planning and education for monitoring, reporting and communication among program units, and feedback after monitoring. Finally, the resource and information covers the planning and activities for obtaining resources and information, community networking, beneficiaries' response, and consulting activity of the staff.

IPSE(Integrated Project Support Environment) 도구는 언어 중심적이고, 개발방 법론에 근거한 툴셋 형태로 제공되는 현재의 CASE 도구들의 주요 기능들을 하나로 통 합하고자 하는 노력의 결과로 볼 수 있다. 프로세스 모델을 기반으로 한 IPSE 접근방 법이 통합 CASE 구현을 위한 효과적인 방법으로 여겨진다. PM-CASE(Process Model based CASE)도구는 새로운 프로세스 모델링 기법에 의해 프로세스를 표현한 다이아그 램을 작성하기 위한 시제품으로서, 프로세스내의 태스크 관련 속성들을 정의 하고 데 이터 베이스에 저장한다. 이들 속성들은 태스크 수행 중에 만들어진 산출물에 대한 정 보의 검색 및 태스크와 연관된 도구를 호출하는데 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 PSEE (Process centered Software Engineering Environments) 도구들을 비교 분석하고, PM- CASE 도구의 기본개념, 구조, 설계에 대한 기술을 통해 효과적인 소프트웨어 개발관리 를 지원하는 프로세스 모델 기반 CASE 도구의 구축방법을 제시한다.

기존 수기 작성기반 선박 수리장비 관리 시스템은 빈번한 장비 분실 및 연체로 장비 관리에 많은 문제점들이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 바코드 시스템을 도입하였다. 그러나 바코드 훼손에 따른 위조 장비의 대체 문제에 대처할 수 없다. 따라서 고가의 선박 수리장비의 관리를 위해 추가적인 확인 절차가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 선박 수리장비 관리를 위한 이미지 비교기법을 제안한다. 구체적으로 모바일 디바이스의 특징을 이용한 정규화와 이미지 비교 판단 조건을 제안한다. 실시간 촬영 및 오버랩과 Crop 기능을 가진 모바일 디바이스를 이용하여 이미지를 정규화 하였고, 유사이미지에 대처할 수 있는 이미지 비교 판단 조건 세 가지(사각형의 내각의 합, 각 내각의 크기, 모서리의 좌표점)를 적용하였다. 그 결과 본 논문에서 제시한 방법이 방향, 조명, 크기 등의 변화에도 강건함을 보이며 테스트 결과 95% 이상의 정확도를 보였다.

Nurses use a nursing process. that is a scientific approach method. in order to understand the clients' condition and to solve their problems. Professional nurses have accepted the nursing process as a standard framework for nursing activities, and the first step of the nursing process is nursing assessment. The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing assessment tool for emergency patients. Assessment is a first step in the nursing process, and scientific assessment helps to better understand the patients. Thus the development of an assessment tool for emergency patients will improve of nursing quality and advance to efficacy of emergency room(ER) management. The study involved the development of a conceptual framework, preliminary tool, content validity verification process. and reliability verification process. The conceptual framework was developed through a review of the literature. and preliminary tool was developed from the conceptual framework that based on care flow sheet' developed James A. Haley. The preliminary tool was evaluated for validity and reliability by seven experts, one ER nurse manager, two ER head nurses, two emergency medicine doctors. and two ER charge nurses and by ten nurses with one to five year careers in ER nursing. The results of this study was as follows 1. The conceptual framework which was developed was composed of three parts. They were triage criteria, first assessment and secondary assessment. 2. The preliminary tool which was developed had 31 items based on the conceptual framework. 3. To test expert validity a 4-point scale was used. items which had gained 3-4 points from six persons of the seven experts were selected. All 31 items from the preliminary tool were selected. 4. The reliability test was done by ten nurses educated in the use of the assessment tool. Two pairs of nurses simultaneously assessed the same patients. A total agreement percentile was calculated and result was 87.3% agreement. 5. After the validity and reliability testing. the final emergency patient nursing assessment tool was finalized with 31 items. and a check-list for the responses. This study concludes that the tool which was developed is both valid and reliable will advance quality care for emergency patients. This emergency nursing assessment tool was also found to be an adequate tool for assessment of emergency patients.

TQM is considered as a kind management innovation tools. Managers are apt to be embarrassed in face of too many emerging and diminishing faddish management innovation tools. In spite of their expected usefulness, the result of implementation used to be depressing. One of the most important things for successful implementation is to understand their correct usefulness and characteristics. This paper analyzes the characteristics of TQM as innovation tool by comparing TQM with other management innovation tools in terms of criteria derived in view of competitive strategy formulation.
