It is proposed a new approach to the development of the automatic vision system to examine and repair the steam generator tubes at remote distance. In nuclear power plants, workers are reluctant of works in steam generator because of the high radiation environment and limited working space. It is strongly recommended that the examination and maintenance works be done by an automatic system for the protection of the operator from to radiation exposure. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time recognition and examination of steam generator tubes in the proposed vision system. Performance of proposed digital vision system is illustrated by simulation and experiment for similar steam generator model.

The essential point to be considered when restoring lacquered ware is to know its materials and properties, and prior studios from the conservational and scientific examination is the way to achieve it. Recently, to get a close examination of its materials and methods involved in lacquered ware making, cross section microscope studies are being applied. Cross section microscope studies shows that lacquering process has been simplified and that bone and earth substances have been added to the materials, a method also traced from the lacquered wooden coffin excavated from the 'Nak Rang Tomb' and by the lacquered wares of the 'Kyongjoo An Ap' areas. The significance of this Chosun Dynasty lacquered wares's inlaid with mother-of pearl restoration can be found in that we have been able to harmonize the very traditional and the very modern scientific method of our time and that we were able to launch a step forward from using only the synthetics to open up a new range of natural materials such as lacquers, bone and earth substances, oxhide-glue and nacres and of referring to the traditional methods.

Purposes : The object of present study is to detect the Effects of Snail Secretion Filtrate and Hyaluronic acid on the skin barrier's recovery of the Atopic dermatitis. Methods : A total of 20 patients who visited Semyung Hanny Oriental Medical Center from september 1st, 2009 to August 31th, 2010 were included in this study. In this study, they were treated with Snail Secretion Filtrate(experimental group) and Hyaluronic acid(control group). For 4 weeks gross examination, hematological examination and instrumentation through skin-ANBT equipment were made before and after the experiments to see how well the products for experimental group act against those for control group in recovering the damaged skin barriers by Atopic dermatitis. Results : 1. In the primary endpoint, SCORAD Index showed a statistically significant decline in both the control group and the experimental group. However, the experimental group showed greater statistical significance than the control group. 2. In the secondary endpoint index of skin hydration, both the control group and the experimental group did not show a statistically significant increase. However, the degree of skin hydration in the experimental group is greater than in the control group. 3. In global assessment of efficacy, it was higher in the experimental group than in the control group for both the subjects and the researchers. 4. To evaluate the safety of the products for the human body, hematological examination and hematological biochemical examination were conducted; both the control group and the experimental group showed no abnormal level. Therefore, the safety of the products, if used for so long a time, proved to be safe for the human body. 5. Product satisfaction was higher in the experimental group than in the control group. Conclusions : According to above experiments, Snail Secretion Filtrate was effective on the Atopic dermatitis.

Terson syndrome was originally used to describe a vitreous hemorrhage arising from aneurysmal subrarachnoid hemorrhage. Terson syndrome can be caused by intracranial hemorrhage, subdural or epidural hematoma and severe brain injury but is extremely rare in intraventricular hemorrhage associated with moyamoya disease. A 41-year-old man presented with left visual disturbance. He had a history of intraventicular hemorrhage associated with moyamoya disease three months prior to admission. At that time he was in comatose mentality. Ophthalmologic examination at our hospital detected a vitreous hemorrhage in his left eye, with right eye remaining normal. Vitrectomy with epiretinal membrane removal was performed. After operation his left visual acuity was recovered. Careful ophthalmologic examination is mandatory in patients with hemorrhagic moyamoya disease.

This study was a descriptive study to investigate factors affecting sleep time in the Korean elders. A secondary data analysis was conducted using the data of "The Fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2011". The survey included 3,487 people aged over 65 years and 1,163 samples were used for this study. Data were analyzed with the ${\chi}^2$-test and logistic regression using the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Analysis showed that sleep time was related with the number of chronic disease and limit on the activities of daily living(ADL). These findings suggest that nursing researchers need to consider chronic disease, and ADL as important factors affecting sleep time of Korean elders. Therefore nursing intervention focusing on the issues in needed to develope.

A four-year old bitch which showed occasional hemomorragic exudate from the vulva for two weeks after the previous estrus 7 months ago was ovariohysterectomied. About 200m1 of sanguineous fluid was flowed out from the uterus and some scattered blood clots were found in both uterine horns. Hematometra of the bitch which was presumed to occur during the proestrus two weeks ago was thought to progress into early pyometra at the time of diagnosis. To diagnose hematometra, vaginal examination using vaginal speculum or vaginoscope and hematological examination were performed. Radiography and ultrasonography were also proved to be of use to diagnose hematometra. Treatment for hematometra was considered to be the same as for the case of pyometra.
