  • Purpose: This study was done to explore time management behavior and self-efficacy in nursing students and to analyze the correlations between time management behavior and self-efficacy. Methods: The data were collected from May 12 to 20 2010 using self-report questionnaires about time management behavior and self-efficacy of nursing students. The data from 508 students were analyzed using descriptive analysis, K-means clustering, and one-way ANOVA. Results: The mean score for time management behavior was 3.03${\pm}$1.11 out of a possible 5, and self-efficacy was 3.65${\pm}$0.42 out of a possible 6. Four groups were identified according to time management behavior. The four groups were significantly different on self-efficacy total (p=<.05) and self-regulatory efficacy (p=.<005). The group with the highest score for time management had the highest score for self-efficacy. Conclusions: The results of the study indicate that time management behavior styles are related to self-efficacy for nursing students. Therefore, time management education programs based on the time management behavior styles are needed to increase self-efficacy in nursing students.

  • The purposes of this study were firstly to reveal the sub-dimensions of time management behaviors and secondly to group workers by time management behaviors. The major findings of this study were as follows. (1)Factor analysis of the 36 items on the time management behaviors instrument revealed three components: factor planning, relations-intention, and urgency. (2)Workers were categorized into four types by the level of those three factors of time management behaviors: 'accomplishment type'($28.31\%$), 'chronic-urgency type'($24.39\%$), 'valuing-job type'($23.73\%$) and 'valuing-human relations type'($23.57\%$). (3)The accomplishment type gained the highest points on the time management satisfaction score, and the level of important${\cdot}$non-urgencies was the highest score, indicating that the accomplishment type had good time management. However, the level of unimportant${\cdot}$urgencies was the highest score. Therefore, this type should try to reduce the level of unimportant${\cdot}$urgencies.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the differences in time perspective by socio-demographic variables and to investigate the effect of time perspective on time management and life satisfaction for college students. Questionnaires including time perspective, time management, and life satisfaction scales were used for this study. The survey data from 382 college students were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and stepwise regression. The time perspective, composed of four factors future insensibility and present, past, and future orientation, differed according to the sex, academic grade, and specialty of the college students. The time perspective of the college students and the socioeconomic status of their households were investigated as effective variables on time management and life satisfaction. Based on these results, the implications for research and policy on the time perspective of college students were discussed.

Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, Factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis and Multiple linear regression were conducted by SPSS WIN12.0. The major findings were as follows. First, factor analysis of 20 items on the time management behaviors related questions revealed six factors: establishment of standards, reality, overlapping, checking, adjusting and facilitating. Second, many factors such as facilitating, establishment of standards, reality, overlapping were significant in the regression analyses for the satisfaction of time management. Especially, establishment of standards and facilitating had high levels of effort on the satisfaction of time management. In combination, these results suggest that establishment of standards and facilitating are very important factors for high satisfaction of time management.

  • Secure broadcasting is requirement for payment of TV systems, government or company. Hierarchical key management for access control provides efficient key management in those environment. Also, time-bound hierarchical key management technique generates different keys in each time period. In 2004, Tzeng proposed a time-bound cryptgraphic key assignment scheme for access control in a hierarchy and in 2008, Bertino et al proposed an efficient time-bound hierarchical key management scheme for secure broadcasting. Tzeng's scheme and Bertino et al's scheme are organized in different environment and primitive. In this paper, we analysis above two time-bound hierarchical key management scheme.
