This study were obtained elapsed time phase-by-phases, displacement, user angle, velocity and angular velocity to analyse kinematically contributing factors at impact of forehand drive motion, on targeting three male players. The results of the study were presented as follows; In the forehand drive swing, the elapsed time by phases was a total of .52 seconds: .30 seconds from backswing to impact and .22 seconds from impact to follow-through, Considering the mean change in locations of COM of each(part$\rightarrow$body segment) at impact, racket head, left shoulder, right wrist and left hip, the left-right directions(X-axis) were showm to be each $.61{\pm}.03$, $1.19{\pm}.08$, $.66{\pm}.03$, $.94{\pm}.06$, and $.45{\pm}.03m$. The displacement differences of COM of each body segment were shown to be -.57, -.05, -.33, and .16m. For the vertical direction(Z-axis), the center of mass was lowest at impact and highest at E3. For the displacement of the right wrist on the left hip, the right wrist moved to .82m to the lower direction without change in the locations of the hip from E1 from E2. When the left hip moved .02m from E2 to E3, the right wrist moved .7m in the upper direction. In respect to the velocity of each body segment, the hip and the shoulder joint accelerated and then the wrist followed. Then the right wrists of all the subjects and their racket heads showed maximum speed, and an effective swing was observed. At the angle of each part, the angle of the right wrist was the smallest at the backswing and the largest at the moment of the impact. Then it increased gradually in the follow-through section. In respect of angular velocity for subject A, the hip moved and the largest change occurred. Immediately before the impact, the subject made a swing using his right wrist, his hip, and the shoulder joint, showing the maximum value, which was judged to be effective.
The attention in construction Automation is getting higher since it could be the answer to the lack of skilled labor by decrease in construction population and aging which adversely affects productivity and quality in the construction site. We are on the way to develop a construction automation system adequate for domestic circumstances in Korea; it is called RCA(Robotic-crane based Construction Automation)system. Climbing hydraulic robots system is a part of RCA system and makes Construction factory(CF) climb through the guide rail on the core wall. The safety of climbing hydraulic robots system is at issue due to the overloaded weight of CF. Preventing this issue, present study did the design verification through the structural analysis and the simulation. Mock-up test also was done to analyze the drive performance of climbing hydraulic robots system.
In a precise control system, the Lu-Gre friction model has often been used to describe the nonlinear friction. For the XY table system with this friction model, we identified the friction parameters and designed nonlinear observer. The nonlinear friction effects could be removed within appropriate position tracking errors and control inputs through experiments. Also, we designed the nonmodel-based SMC system to compensate the nonlinear friction. Through experiments, it is shown that this method has the similar performance compared with the nonlinear observer system and is useful when friction parameters are hard to identify except the problem of input chattering.
The Roadway caused through Power Train engine vibration and bad ride comfort. It is very important to analyze the vibratory characteristics. The mathematical models on the Power Train, which is composed of engine-/transmission block, universal joint shaft, differential, rear axle arm and wheels, are developed and is verified by the experiments. This Paper describes the coupling influence occurred through a complete drive system for the power train. Dies study is carried out computationally with a calculation program and experimentally with the aid of the mode analysis.
A kind of fluorescent lamps CCFL(Cold Cathod Fluorescent Lamp) is used for backlight of LCD and the demand of backlight for TV is getting more. CCFL is also used in a backlight for TFT-LCD panel. BLU(Backlight Unit) has lots of components so it looks a electrical product. As the size of LCD display is larger with increasing of the demand, to drive CCFL inverter is more important. Therefore, a sort of modeling to drive 4 lamps with a transformer is used and we have a simulation test with proposed modeling so we can take some data from the test. The utility of the proposed modeling is verified through using for 30-inch LCD backlight with the data.
This paper presents the implementation and characteristic analysis of a drive system for a three-phase permanent magnet motor with independent excitation winding that is applicable for electric bicycles. The design features improves the phase current waveform, output power, and torque by using advance angle control. This adjusts the phase angle of each phase current in relation to back EMF. In addition, a DC-side PI current control is performed through PWM generation circuit using a low-cost one-chip microcontroller and a CPLD chip, resulting in reduced system costs. Finally, the validity of this control scheme for driving electric bicycles and output/torque improvement characteristics are verified through analysis and experimental results.

A new sustain driving method for the AC PDP is presented. In this driving method, the voltage source is connected to a storage capacitor, this storage capacitor charges an intermediate capacitor through LC resonance, and the panel is charged from the intermediate capacitor indirectly. In this way, the current flowing into the AC PDP when the sustain discharge occurs is reduced because the current is indirectly supplied from a capacitor, a limited source of charge. Thus, the input power to the output luminance efficiency is improved. Since the voltage supplied to the storage capacitor is doubled through LC resonance, this method call drive an AC PDP with a voltage source of about half of the voltage necessary in the conventional driving methods. The experiments showed that this charge-controlled driving method could drive ail AC PDP with a voltage source of as low as 107V. Using a panel of the conventional structure, luminous efficiency of 1.28 lm/W was achieved.
This work presents the feasibility of shunt damping far vibration suppression of the rotating HDD disk-spindle system using piezoelectric bimorph. A target vibration mode which significantly restricts the recording density increment of the drive is determined through modal analysis and a piezoelectric bimorph is designed to suppress unwanted vibration. After deriving the two-dimensional generalized electromechanical coupling coefficient of the shunted drive, the shunt damping of the system is predicted by simulating the displacement transmissibility using the coefficient. In addition, optimal design process using sensitivity analysis is undertaken in order to improve the shunt damping of the system. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology is verified through experimental implementation by observing the vibration characteristics of the rotating disk-spindle system in frequency domain.
