Stability Improvement of Three Phase Inverter based on LCL filter using an Active Damping (능동댐핑을 통한 LCL필터 기반 3상 인버터의 안정도 향상)

  • 본 논문은 LCL 필터를 사용하는 계통연계형 인버터에 커패시터 전류 피드백 방식의 능동댐핑을 적용한 안정도 향상 방안를 분석하였다. 커패시터 전류 피드백 방식은 커패시터에 저항을 병렬 연결한 수동댐핑과 동일한 특성을 나타내며, 안정도 해석에 $1.5T_s$의 연산 및 PWM 시지연을 고려하였다. 주파수 응답 특성과 이산시간 영역에서 근궤적을 이용하여 안정도를 해석하며, 필터 공진을 저감시키기 위한 능동댐핑의 이득 $k_d$의 범위를 산정하였으며 PSIM 시뮬레이션과 5kW 계통연계형 실험을 통해 필터 공진에 대한 저감 효과를 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, the power electronics requirement and the controls of an induction motor for fuel cell electric vehicle system are presented. The power topology is selected based on performance, cost, size, volume, manufacturability, component count and simplicity. Another highlight of the topology is the reduction of battery bank and its control strategy. The proposed approach consists a full-bridge DC/DC converter to boost the fuel cell voltage. The induction motor operated with vector control is driven by a three-phase PWM inverter supplied by the DC-link voltage. The investigation of the electric vehicle performed due to parameter variation of the induction motor has been presented.

  • In this paper, a novel nonlinear control method of the CVCF(constant voltage and constant frequency output voltage for the three-phase PWM inverter is proposed, which gives high dynamic responses at load variation as well as zero steady-state error. The experimental results are shown th verify the validity of the proposed scheme.

  • We often use induction motor in the hard environment including vibration and high ambient temperature, or in maintenance free operation, because induction motor has durable and simple structure. However, when we use it as servo actuator or accurate speed control motor, we have to equip sensor such as encoder and tachogenerator with the motor control system. And generally those sensor's abilities against bad environment are less than the induction motor itself, So if we can remove these sensors from the system, it'll have more environmental resistance, and the cost will also be reduced. Actually this removal has been achieved in limited field. However, that needs complex calculations and a certain elapse time for data processing. In our study, we intended to estimate the rotational speed from the motor current instead of speed sensor, easily and rapidly in comparison to former methods.

  • The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) has become an integral part of modern computer and communication system to assure a continued and stable operation by providing an uninterruptible power to vital equipments. Various control methods have come to the fore in recent times with the advent of high frequency switching technologies. This paper describes the DSP control method for three phase UPS inverter which guarantees the sinusoidal output voltage under nonlinear load conditions.   • When controlling a three-phase inverter that drives AC motor, it is important to know the value of the current. In this case, shunt sensing methods are known as low cost and useful performance. However, for certain swithcing condition, immeasurable areas exist and it is necessary to reconstruct the current in the area. This paper proposes a reconstruction method using voltage injection in synchronous coordinates system at the area, and verify the validity of the method through simulation.

  • This paper presents a study on the indirect FOC (field oriented control) of induction motor using TMS320F240. This DSP has become possible to design and implement a highly efficient and accurate AC induction drive control. This paper describes a pulse width modulator based on the voltage space vectors technique that accepts voltage demands in dq coordinates and generates three-phase PWM waveforms to drive a variable frequency voltage-source inverter. The Current Model lock is added to generate the rotor flux angular speed.

  • 기존 LCL 필터 설계 방법의 경우, 시뮬레이션에 기반한 반복 과정을 통해 필터 파라미터를 최적화므로 많은 시간이 소요된다. 하지만 본 논문에서는 3상 PWM 인버터와 LCL 필터 분석을 통해 설계 시 고려 사항을 단순화할 수 있다. 또한 LCL 필터의 다양한 제약 조건을 파악하고, 이러한 조건 하에서 제작 비용을 최소화할 수 있는 해석 해(analytical solution)를 도출한다. 결과적으로 제안된 단계적(step-by-step) 설계 방법을 통해 빠른 시간내에 최적화된 LCL 필터를 선정할 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 유효성은 시뮬레이션을 통해 최종 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 종전의 3상 H-브리지 PWM 인버터와 다른 토폴로지를 갖는 3상 벅-부스트 DC-AC 인버터를 위한 제어 기법을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 공간벡터 변조 방식(SVM : Space Vector Modulation) 및 PI 제어기를 벅-부스터 DC-AC 인버터에 적용하고 이를 PSIM 시뮬레이션 통하여 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • A BLDC motor with higher number of phases has several advantages, compared to the conventional three-phase BLDC motors. It can reduce the commutation torque ripple and the iron loss without increasing the voltage per phase and increase the reliability and power density. Higher number of phases increase the torque-per-ampere ratio for the same machine volume and output power by widening the electrical conduction period. In this paper, the proposed seven-phase BLDC motor drive system is made into several functional modular blocks, so that it can be easily extended to other ac motor applications: back-EMF block, hysteresis current control block, pwm inverter block, phase current block, and speed/torque control block. Also in a system of BLDC motor drive, the PI controller has been widely used in the speed controller because of the simple implementation. To obtain a good speed response in a general drive system using the PI controller, the high bandwidth of a controller is established. therefore, in this paper, a Fuzzy controller is applied to the 7-phase BLDC motor drive system in order to improve the speed control performance. The Fuzzy controller is compared with a conventional PI controller through the experiment with respect to speed dynamic responses. These experimental results show that the Fuzzy controller of the 7-phase BLDC motor drive system is superior over the conventional PI controller. The algorithm using the Fuzzy controller can improve a comfortable ride in the field of high performance 7-phase BLDC motor drive applications.
