중국 6세대 감독의 기억에 관한 역사적 재현 영상콘텐츠 연구 (Visual Contents Study of Historic Re-create about Memory of China 6th Generation Director)

  • 본 논문은 중국영화 6세대 감독의 삶에서 그들이 기억하는 역사적 시대를 살펴보고, 역사의 고민과 상처들이 영화에서는 어떠한 방법으로 기억되고 표현되는지 살펴보았다. 그들은 기존세대와 다른, 있는 그대로의 현실을 담아내려고 노력했으며, 역사의 시대적 의미를 기억과 망각 사이에서 무엇을 어떤 방식으로 표현 할지 함께 드러난다. 그것은 중국영화 6세대 작품에서 기억의 은유화를 통해 시대의 상처를 담아내었고, 희망과 절망 사이에 기억이 은폐되면서 꿈을 잃은 생존의 현실을 담아내었으며, 담담하게 현실을 받아들이는 일상의 자아를 보여 주었으며, 변할 수 없는 세상의 시선과 기억에 대항하고 있다. 6세대 작품속에 투영된 욕망은 자신의 정체성을 찾아가려는 과정에서 실현되지 못하는 현실, 전통성을 지켜 나가려는 모습, 변해가는 현실, 이 세 가지 사이에 갈등하며 꿈을 펼치지 못하고 순순히 현실을 받아들이는 수동적 모습을 담아내고 있다. 6세대 감독들은 기억이라는 이름으로 역사를 해석하는 과정에서, 사회적 억압은 가족의 억압, 가족의 억압은 한 개인의 억압으로 이어지고, 억압이 욕망으로 바뀌면서 반작용에 의한 삶이 지속되기도 한다. 그리고 현실에서 개인의 욕망이 실현되지 못하지만 판타지로 대신하면서, 슬픔을 극복하고 현실을 담담하게 이겨내는 모습들로 드러난다. 이런 아련한 정서를 통해 6세대 감독이 기억하는 중국인들의 얼굴로 그려낸다.

향화인의 조선 정착 사례 연구 - 여진 향화인을 중심으로 - (Some Instances of Manchurian Naturalization and Settlement in Choson Dynasty)

  • 고려 말에 동북면에 들어와서 거주하던 토착여진과 요동 지방 내륙에서 남하하여 두만강 유역 부근에 자리잡은 알타리 올량합 올적합 등의 여진족이 향화하였다. 향화한 여진인에게 경제적 사회적 정치적 우대 정책이 시행되었다. 특히 향화인에게 과거 응시를 허락한 것은 이들을 조선의 백성으로 인정한 단적인 예이며, 이들이 과거를 통해서 자신들의 신분을 상승시킬 수 있는 길을 열어놓았다. 향화인 가운데 성공적으로 조선에 정착하여 양반으로 성장한 사례가 있는데, 청해 이씨와 전주 주씨이다. 청해 이씨는 여진의 대추장으로서 관하민도 500호나 되었으며, 개국공신 회군공신 배향공신으로서 조정에서 경제적 사회적 정치적 혜택을 충분히 받았다. 게다가 이지란의 아들 이화영 역시 공신으로서 그의 정치적 입지를 굳혀갔고, 종친과의 혼인으로 왕실과 관계를 돈독히 하였다. 이지란과 이화영이 마련한 기반 위에서 양반 가문으로서 계속 성장된 것은 이화영의 아들 이효양(李孝讓)과 이효강(李孝綱) 집안이다. 이 두 가문에서 배출된 과거 급제자는 문과 7명, 무과 15명, 생원 진사시 16명 등이다. 청해 이씨의 주된 거주지는 서울과 경기 지역이었으며, 일부 함경도 지역에도 남아있었다. 전주 주씨는 함흥에 같이 정착했던 주만(朱萬)은 개국원종공신에 책봉되었고, 주인(朱仁)은 중앙으로부터 서반직을 제수받았다. 전주 주씨는 함흥에 토착하여 재지 세력으로 성장되었다. 16세기부터 문과 급제자가 배출되기 시작하여 17세기 이후로 문과 급제자 22명, 생원 진사시 입격자 40명을 배출한 문인 가문으로 성장하였다. 전주 주씨의 관직 진출을 보더라도 서북 인사에게 통청되기 어려웠던 언관직 진출이 많았다. 전주 주씨는 함흥을 중심으로 재지 기반을 확고히 하고 언관과 같은 청직에 진출되면서 함경도의 명문 성관으로 부상되었다.

  • Commelinaceae (Commelinales), consist of three subfamiles and 40 genera, are distributed in the Old and New world, except Europe. This family is commonly known as dayflower and spiderwort due to their short bloom time and a viscous stem secretion. Although, several morphological and molecular analysis were conducted, the relationships among the genera are still ambiguous. The rapid advances in next-generation sequencing (NGS) enable us to do genomic research widely. Here, we assembled 12 new plastomes of Commelinaceae including Cartonematoideae and compared with previously published data. We identified pseudogened accD and rpoA in Commelinoideae taxa. Phylogenetic analysis inferred from 78 protein-coding genes showed that Rhopalephora scaberrima was nested within Aneilema. Also, there is a need to revise the subtribal relationships in Tradescantieae. This study will contribute to define the genome structures, phylogenetic and biogeographic studies of Commelinaceae.

자가불화합성 Brassica campestris에 있어서 단일유전자좌가설에 의해 분리되지 않는 S-유전자 계통의 분석 (Analysis of Non-segregated S-allele Strain by Single-Locus Hypothesis in Self-incompatible Brassica campestris)

  • Self-incompatibility in Brassica campestris is controlled by multi-allele system in a single genetic locus, the S locus, and it is elucidated that S-glycoproteins are S gene products. In this experiments, we examined the genetic mode(pollen tube behavior and segregation of S-glycoprotein), characteristic of S-glycoproteins and DNA constitution within nuclear genome on S gene family that unexplained by single locus model, and investigated the segregation pattern of S-glycoproteins in bred F1 generation. By diallel cross among the 15 plants within one family the existence of three types of homozygotes and three types of heterozygotes were observed, and segregation of S-allele could not explained by single locus model. From the results of IEF-immunoblot analysis for non-segregated individual plant, the segregation pattern of S specific bands was corresponded with results of diallel cross except with one case(SaSa genotype). The molecular weight of 6 different S-genotype varied in near by 50 kD, and each genotype expressed with 2 or 3 bands. Specific bands in SaSa, SbSb, ScSc has almost similar molecular weight between them. Southern analysis of genomic DNA probed with S-glycoprotein cDNA for 6 different genotypes revealed that there are clear difference in polymorphism, multiple bands of hybridization, when restriction enzymes of EcoR I were used. It could be assumed that there are several sequences related to the S-glycoprotein structural genes within their nuclear genome. Therefore, we suggested the possibilities that S-allele system could be controlled by multi-locus, that dominance-recessive interactions could be explained by modifier gene or supressor gene based on the results of abnormal segregation of S-glycoprotein in bred F1. Three transcripts of EDS1-like genes respond differently to Vitis flexuosa infection

  • Enhanced disease susceptibility1 (EDS1) is a regulator of basal defense responses required for resistance mediated by TIR-NBS-LRR containing R proteins. We identified three transcripts of EDS1-like genes encompassing diverse/separate expression patterns, based on the transcriptome analysis by Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) of V. flexuosa inoculated with Elsinoe ampelina. These genes were designated VfEDL1 (Vitis flexuosa Enhanced Disease Susceptibility1-like1), VfEDL2 and VfEDL3, and contained 2464, 1719 and 1599 bp, with 1791, 1227 and 1599 bp open reading frames (ORFs), encoding proteins of 596, 408 and 532 amino acids, respectively. The predicted amino acid sequences of all three genes showed the L-family lipase-like domain (class 3 lipase domain), and exhibited a potential lipase catalytic triad, aspartic acid, histidine and serine in the conserved G-X-S-X-G. All three VfEDL genes were upregulated at 1 hpi against the bacterial and fungal pathogens Rizhobiumvitis and E. ampelina, respectively, except VfEDL1, which was downregulated against E. ampelina at all time points. Against E. ampelina, VfEDL2 and VfEDL3 showed downregulated expression at later time points. When evaluated against R. vitis, VfEDL1 showed downregulated expression at all time points after 1 hpi, while VfEDL3 showed upregulation up to 24 hpi. Based on the expression response, all three genes may be involved in plant resistant responses against R. vitis, and VfEDL2 and VfEDL3 show additional resistant responses against E. ampelina infection.

Association of the Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms in RUNX1, DYRK1A, and KCNJ15 with Blood Related Traits in Pigs

  • The aim of this study was to detect positional candidate genes located within the support interval (SI) regions based on the results of red blood cell, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), and mean corpuscular hemoglobin quantitative trait locus (QTL) in Sus scrofa chromosome 13, and to verify the correlation between specific single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) located in the exonic region of the positional candidate gene and the three genetic traits. The flanking markers of the three QTL SI regions are SW38 and S0215. Within the QTL SI regions, 44 genes were located, and runt-related transcription factor 1, dual-specificity tyrosine-(Y)-phosphorylation regulated kinase 1A (DYRK1A), and potassium inwardly-rectifying channel, subfamily J, member 15 KCNJ15-which are reported to be related to the hematological traits and clinical features of Down syndrome-were selected as positional candidate genes. The ten SNPs located in the exonic region of the three genes were detected by next generation sequencing. A total of 1,232 pigs of an $F_2$ resource population between Landrace and Korean native pigs were genotyped. To investigate the effects of the three genes on each genotype, a mixed-effect model which is the considering family structure model was used to evaluate the associations between the SNPs and three genetic traits in the $F_2$ intercross population. Among them, the MCV level was highly significant (nominal $p=9.8{\times}10^{-9}$) in association with the DYRK1A-SNP1 (c.2989 G$F_2$ intercross, our approach has limited power to distinguish one particular positional candidate gene from a QTL region.

한국고전문학을 활용한 체험형 게임 관광프로그램 개발 사례 : 중인가객 김수장과 『해동가요』를 대상으로 (A Case of Development of Experiential Game Tourism Program Using Korean Classical Literature)

  • 이 논문에서는 한국고전문학을 활용한 체험형 게임 관광프로그램을 개발하고자 하는 과정의 첫 번째 시도로써 중인가객 김수장과 그의 가집 『해동가요』를 대상으로 1차 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위하여 관광콘텐츠로서 체험형 게임과 한국고전문학의 가치에 대한 이론적 검토를 먼저 진행하였다. 이후 프로그램의 수요층을 가족, MZ 세대 및 연인, 외국인의 세 분류로 설정하였으며, 이들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 각 수요층의 성격 및 프로그램 선호도를 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로, 가집 『해동가요』와 김수장이 창작한 7수의 시조 작품에서 분석틀에 따라 각각의 역사문화자원으로서의 주요 가치를 발굴하고, 대상과 관련된 수요층의 선호를 분석하였다. 이에 따라 가족 단위는 모험플롯으로, MZ세대 및 연인의 경우에는 사랑플롯으로, 외국인의 경우에는 모험과 사랑을 혼합한 플롯으로 구성하여 각 수요층에 맞게 서사구조를 차별적으로 조직하였다. 이 글은 스토리텔링적인 가치가 있음에도 불구하고 지금껏 잘 활용되지 못한 한국고전문학, 그 중에서도 김수장이라는 인물과 그의 작품에서 스토리를 발굴하고, 이를 체험형 게임 관광프로그램으로 발전시킴으로써 한국고전문학의 측면에서도, 관광학의 측면에서도 새로운 시도를 해보고자 하였다. 이후로도 다양한 조선의 문학인들을 발굴하여 지속적으로 스토리텔링을 진행한다면 고전 문학 기행 콘셉트의 여행상품군의 활성화를 기대해볼 수 있을 것이다.

청소년의 이주민에 대한 편견: 부모의 영향 및 청소년의 자아정체감과 대처양식에 미치는 영향 (Adolescent Prejudice towards Immigrants: The Role of Parents and the Effect of Adolescent Prejudice on Self-Identity and Coping Styles)

  • As the immigrant population is rapidly growing in South Korea, it is important for the next generation of Korean adolescents to foster unprejudiced attitudes towards immigrants. This paper thus seeks to shed light on adolescent prejudice towards immigrants, by addressing the following three questions: (1) Does a mother's prejudice towards immigrants and parenting style influence their adolescent children's prejudice towards immigrants? (2) Does an adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants influence his/her self-identity? (3) Does an adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants influence his/her coping styles? The sample consisted of 288 pairs of Korean adolescents and their mothers. According to hierarchical regression analyses, a mother's prejudice towards immigrants significantly predicted her adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants, after taking sociodemographic variables into account, whereas her parenting style did not. In addition, having a low level of prejudice towards immigrants among adolescents predicted high levels of self-identity (e.g. independence, proprioceptive, and mission orientation), and a greater use of positive coping skills (e.g. support-seeking and problem-solving). Overall, results showed that mothers played a significant role in shaping their adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants. Results also provided evidence that prejudice towards immigrants may interfere with the healthy development of self-identity and coping style during adolescence. In conclusion, this study suggests that multicultural education for adolescents can be more effective, when it is provided in partnership with a parent education program that is designed to raise parental multicultural awareness.

The Terminal and Internal Hairpin Loops of the ctRNA of Plasmid pJB01 Play Critical Roles in Regulating Copy Number

  • The plasmid pJB01, a member of the pMV158 family isolated from Enterococcus faecium JC1, contains three open reading frames, copA, repB, and repC. Plasmids included in this family produce counter-transcribed RNA (ctRNA) that contributes to copy number control. The pJB01 ctRNA, a transcript which consists of 54 nucleotides (nts), is encoded on the opposite strand from the copA/repB intergenic region and partially overlaps an atypical ribosome binding site (ARBS) for repB. The ARBS is integrated by the two underlined conserved regions: 5'-TTTTTGTNNNNTAANNNNNNNNNATG-3', and the ctRNA is complementary only to the 5' conserved sequence 5'-TTTTTGT-3'. This complementary sequence is located at a distance from the terminal loop of the ctRNA secondary structure. The ctRNA structure predicted by the mfold program suggests the possible generation of a terminal and an internal hairpin loop. The amount of in vitro translation product of repB mRNA was inversely proportional to the ctRNA concentration. Mutations in the terminal and internal hairpin loops of the ctRNA had inhibitory effects on its binding to the target mRNA. We propose that the intact structures of the terminal and internal hairpin loops, respectively, play important roles in forming the initial kissing and extending complexes between the ctRNA and target mRNA and that these regulate the copy number of this plasmid.

선택과목 '의료와 여성(Women in Medicine)'에 대한 학생반응 분석 (An analysis on the students' responses of the elective course, "Women in Medicine")

  • Even though 35% of Korean medical students are female, medical schools and hospitals maintain a strongly male-dominated culture which discourages female students from active career development. In 2006, Yonsei Medical school instigated an elective course entitled "Women in Medicine" to encourage and stimulate 51 female students who enrolled the course. Researchers conducted participant observations at all 6 lectures, as well as 2 surveys and 4 student fucus group discussions comprising a total of 18 students. The total satis faction r ate of the course was high at 4.6 points out of a 5-point score Nevertheless, the study results confirmed three conflict points between lectures and students. Firstly, the lecturers emphasized the excellence and carrier-goal oriented life style, whereas most students are more interested in an ordinary women doctor's life. Secondly, the lecturers emphasized the importance of husband and family's support for success in their career but most female students have little confidence in their ability to achieve a balance between work and family. Thirdly, the lecturers emphasized the women doctor who is able to lead a team effectively, but women students have few opportunities to play a leadership role in their school life. These study findings imply that there is a generation gap in the concept of "successful women doctor's life" between lecturers and students. and that interactive dialogue between lecturer and students is more important than lecture style presentations from extremely successful female doctors. In addition to such lectures, a leadership program based on active student participation should be developed.
