1989년 5월부터 1993년 7월까지 남한 각 지역에서 채집한 유각변형충류를 주사 전자현미경(SEM)으로 동정하였다. 그 중 Centropyxis aerophila, Bullinularia garacilis, NEtzelia oviformis , Nebela caudata , N. collaris, N. lageniformis, Difflugia lanceolata, and D. wailesi 등 8종이 한국미기록종으로 밝혀졌다.

The formulation for hybrid-QUICK scheme of convective transport terms in finite-volume calculation procedure is presented. Source terms are modified to apply the hybrid-QUICK scheme. Test calculations are performed for wall-driven cavity flow at Re=$10_2$, $10_3$, and $10_4$. These include the evaluation of boundary conditions approximated by third-order finite difference scheme. The stable and converged solutions are obtained without unsteady terms in the momentum equations. The results using hybrid-QUICK scheme show no difference with those using hybrid scheme at low Re ($=10_2$) and are better at higher Re ($10_3$, and $10_4$).

In order to investigate the generation of carbon monoxide and heat loss of incomplete combustion in compartment fires, an experiment was conducted in a small scale compartment by using methanol as a fuel. The concentration of carbon monoxide and the toxicity parameter showed high values when the mass air - to - fuel stoichiometric ratio is under 1.0. The constitution of the combustion gas was showed to estimate it from the . The heat loss due to incompleteness of combustion is about one third of heat of combustion in case of under 1.0.

In this paper we prove that every positive solution of the third order rational difference equation $$x_{n+1}\;=\;\frac{{\beta}x_n\;+\;x_{n-2}}{A\;+\;Bx_n\;+\;x_{n-2}}$ converges to the positive equilibrium point $$\bar{x}\;=\;\frac{{\beta}\;+\;1\;-\;A}{B\;+\;1}$, where $0\;<\;{\beta}\;{\leq}\;B$, $1\;<\;A\;<\;{\beta}\;+\;1$

The kinetic study of the enaryloxynitriles via the nucleophilic vinylic substitution reaction of various phenol derivatives with 1-chloro-1-phenyl-2,2-dicyanoethene (1) was conducted in the presence of 1,4-diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octane (DABCO). Nucleo philic vinylic substitution of phenol derivatives with electrophilic olefins carrying sluggish leaving group involves a third-order reaction. The reaction was applied to solution polymerization of diphenol derivatives with p-bis(1-chrolo-2,2-dicyanovinyl)benzene (2), which yielded various polyenaryloxynitriles with moderate molecular weight.

In the present paper, we investigate the upper bounds on third order Hankel determinants for certain class of close-to-convex functions in the unit disk. Furthermore, we obtain estimates of the Zalcman coefficient functional for this class.

In this article, we investigate the upper bounds on the coefficients for inverse of functions belongs to certain classes of univalent functions and in particular for the functions convex in one direction. In this study, we investigate the explicit characterization of spherical curves using the Flc (Frenet like curve) frame in Euclidean 3-space. Firstly, the axis of curvature and the osculating sphere of a polynomial space curve are calculated using Flc frame invariants. It is then shown that the axis of curvature is on a straight line. The position vector of a spherical curve is expressed with curvatures connected to the Flc frame. Finally, a differential equation is obtained from the third order, which characterizes a spherical curve.

Dynamic analysis of a shear deformable shell is investigated with accounting thickness stretching using Hamilton's principle. Through this method, the total transverse is composed into bending, shearing and stretching portions, in which the third part is responsible for deformation along the transverse direction. After computation of the strain, kinetic and external energies, the governing motion equations are derived using Hamilton's principle. A comparative study is presented before presentation of full numerical results for confirmation of the formulation and methodology. The results are presented with and without thickness stretching to show importance of the proposed theory in comparison with previous theories without thickness stretching.

In this paper, we compose neural network predictive HMM(NNPHMM) to provide the dynamic feature of the speech pattern for the HMM. The NNPHMM is the hybrid network of neura network and the HMM. The NNPHMM trained to predict the future vector, varies each time. It is used instead of the mean vector in the HMM. In the experiment, we compared the recognition abilities of the one hundred Korean syllables according to the variation of hidden layer, state number and prediction orders of the NNPHMM. The hidden layer of NNPHMM increased from 10 dimensions to 30 dimensions, the state number increased from 4 to 6 and the prediction orders increased from 10 dimensions to 30 dimension, the state number increased from 4 to 6 and the prediction orders increased from the second oder to the fourth order. The NNPHMM in the experiment is composed of multi-layer perceptron with one hidden layer and CMHMM. As a result of the experiment, the case of prediction order is the second, the average recognition rate increased 3.5% when the state number is changed from 4 to 5. The case of prediction order is the third, the recognition rate increased 4.0%, and the case of prediction order is fourth, the recognition rate increased 3.2%. But the recognition rate decreased when the state number is changed from 5 to 6.
