'바닥 꾸미기' 과제를 이용한 수학적 모델링 과정에서 초등수학영재의 메타인지 분석 (An Analysis of Metacognition of Elementary Math Gifted Students in Mathematical Modeling Using the Task 'Floor Decorating')

  • 수학적 모델링이란 실세계 문제 상황을 이해하고 이를 수학적인 방법으로 변환하여 수학적 모델을 토대로 실세계 문제 상황을 해결해나가는 일련의 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 선행연구를 통해 수학적 모델링을 활용한 수업의 학습 효과가 밝혀짐에 따라 우리나라에서도 효과적인 수학적 모델링 수업을 위한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 초등수학영재의 수학적 사고 양식에 따라 수학적 모델링 과정에서 나타나는 메타인지적 특성을 분석함으로써 수학적 모델링 지도 과정에서의 시사점을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 S시 소재 대학부설과학영재교육원 초등수학 영재학생 39명을 대상으로 수학적 사고 양식 검사를 진행하여 검사 결과에 따라 시각적, 분석적, 혼합적 모둠으로 분류하고 각 사고 양식이 가장 뚜렷하게 드러나는 3개 모둠(총 12명)의 수학적 모델링 과정에서 나타나는 메타인지 특성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 모델링 단계와 모둠 특성에 따라 메타인지 요소가 다르게 나타나는 것을 확인하였으며, 이와 같은 분석 결과에 기초하여 수학적 모델링 지도 과정에서의 교수학적 시사점을 도출하였다.

사회적 지지 및 대처방식이 아내학대 피해여성의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Support and Coping Styles on Quality of Life in Abused Wives)

  • The purposes of present study were to investigate relationships among wife abuse, social support, coping styles, and quality of life, and to examine how abused wives' social support influences coping and quality of life. The subjects were consisted of 144 abused wives in Gwangju, Korea. The major findings are as follows; 1. Problem-focused coping and seeking of social support were different by the wife abuse. 2. Abused wives' quality of life was positively related monthly income, social support, problem-focused coping, and wishful thinking coping. 3. The results of the hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the social support had the strongest impact on abused wives' quality of life. And the problem-focused coping, monthly income, and emotion-focused coping. These variables accounted for 32% of variance of abused wives' quality of life.

A Study on Learners' Perceptions and Learning styles of Task Research (R&E) conducted by Science High School Students

  • We studied learners' perceptions and learning styles of project research activities in the chemical field conducted by 54 science high school students. In a survey of students' perceptions of task research, positive responses were found in "internal motivation," "cooperation," "task solving," and "tenacity and immersion," and statistically significant differences were found in "self-directedness," "cooperation," and "tenacity and immersion" by year. The 'lower' group responded most positively in the 'cooperation' category, and the 'higher' group responded most positively in the 'task solving' category. As a result of investigating the learning styles of the students who conducted the task research, it was found in the order of assimilator, converger, accommodator, and diverger. The assimilators showed the characteristic of systematically and scientifically approaching the problem. Convergers were found to have excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability, are practical, and have experimental-based thinking characteristics. In this study, the characteristics of science high school students showed well in the results of the learning style performed.

초등과학영재의 과학 노트를 활용한 정리활동 특성분석 (The Characteristics of Summarized Activities using Science Notebook for Elementary School Science Gifted)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the writing styles and features of science writing by using science notebook for elementary school science gifted. The subject of this study was 37 sixth grade elementary school science gifted in P city. The preliminary 1 hour instruction was conducted to explain the usage of science notebook. The summarized activity using science notebook was conducted for 20 minutes following 4 hour lesson. These activities were performed for 8 times. As the result of this study, in The content which is learned today (main learning content)' which is one of components of science note, the writing appears the most frequently in external expression types and features of scientific writing, followed by writing+drawing, drawing, cartoon, writing+cartoon, mind map, table. Science writing which uses inductive thinking appears the most frequently in internal expression types and features of scientific writing, followed by deductive thinking, creative thinking. Among the components of science note, 'thinking and feeling', 'question,' 'one's own thinking of question' which are the components of science note promote the reflective thinking of elementary school student gifted for science.

  • The ways of mathematical meditative concentration of one's attentive calculation are the important records of the mathematics in the Korean mathematical history. Through them, we can find the methods of the mathematical thinking several generations ago, and presume the styles of life in the Chosun dynasty as men see the ancient life by the fossils. Thus we need to see them out of our unconcerns and rearrange them from the disorder without distortions.

1990년대 하위문화 스타일에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Subcultural Style in the 1990s)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the formative style and aesthetic value of contemporary subcultural style with the understanding of characteristics of subcultural style in the sociocultural context. As for the research methodology, literary survey has been performed to study the concept and the history of subcultural styles from 1940s to 1980s. In addition, demonstrative studies on aesthetic images have been carried out through the analysis of pictures and photographs in order to categorize the subcultural styles since 1990s. In this study, subcultural styles since 1990s have been illustrated through the socio-cultural grounds. which are diversity of street culture, diffusion of moss culture or bubble-up phenomenon, pursuit of anti-social ideology among intellectual heads, club Cultures in the form of kitsch and pastiche and communal thinking as collective harmony. With the socio-cultural context examined above, subcultural styles in the contemporary fashion are categorized and deduced following aesthetic values ; Drag and Club style as the tendency of surrealists or artificial hedonists, Urban military style and Cyberpunks as pursuit of Bionic being, Sports casual style based upon, the pursuit of comfort and freedom, Vintage style and Retro dressing represented by the spirit of DIY (no It Yourself), Ecology style of New conservatives, and Mysticism style as the fusion of technology and shamanism (Technoshamanism).

과학 영재 학생들의 사고양식에 따른 지구시스템에 대한 인지 특성 (The Recognition Characteristics of Science Gifted Students on the Earth System based on their Thinking Style)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 과학 영재 학생들의 사고 양식에 따른 지구시스템에 대한 인지 특성을 분석하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 광역시 소재 대학 부설 과학영재교육원에 재학 중인 24명이다. 연구 방법은 먼저 과학 영재 학생들을 대상으로 Sternberg의 정신자치제 이론에 근거로 사고양식 측정 검사를 실시한 후, 그 유형에 따라 Type I(입법적, 사법적, 전체적, 진보적)과 Type II(행정적, 지엽적, 보수적)집단으로 구분하였다. 그 후 각 집단에 대해 설문지 3종(A, B, C형), 단어 연상, 그림 분석, 개념 지도, 숨겨진 차원파악하기 (hidden dimension inventory), 자료해석 및 그 결과에 대한 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 과학 영재 학생들의 사고양식 유형은 입법적, 사법적, 무정부적, 전체적, 외부적, 그리고 진보적 사고 양식의 특성을 나타내어 새로운 과제를 선호하며, 창의적인 방식으로 문제를 해결하려는 경향을 보여주었다. 사고 유형에 따른 지구시스템에 대한 인지 특성에 대한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, '시스템 이해'에서 Type I, II 집단의 양적 측정치는 비슷하였으나, 세부적으로 살펴보면 상당한 차이가 존재한다. 둘째, '시스템 내 관계 파악'은 사고양식 유형과 상당히 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있으며, Type I집단이 보다 다각적, 역동적, 순환적으로 접근하여 보다 유리하다. 셋째, '시스템 일반화'에서 시스템에 대한 단순 해석 능력은 두 집단 모두 비슷하나, 숨겨진 차원 요소를 가미하여 추정할 경우 일반화 경향이 Type I집단이 우수하다. 하지만 시스템 예측 측면에서는 집단에 관계없이 미약하다. 이러한 결과를 볼 때 시스템 학습 프로그램 개발과 적용에 있어 다양한 대상에 대한 구체적인 개발 전략이 요구되며, 이를 통한 시스템 인지와 관련된 여러 분야에서의 활용성과 기대 효과가 클 것이라 생각된다.

일 대학 간호대학생의 학습유형에 따른 학업성취도, 자기주도적 학습능력 및 비판적 사고성향 (Academic Achievement, Self-directed Learning, and Critical Thinking Disposition According to Learning Styles of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This descriptive study was done to identify the academic achievement, self-directed learning (SDL), and critical thinking disposition (CTD) of nursing students according to their learning styles. Method: The participants were 240 nursing students. Data were collected using structured questionnaires which included Kolb's Learning Style Inventory, Academic Achievement in Fundamental Nursing and Health Assessment, Self Directed Learning Readiness Scale, and California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA, Pearson' correlation coefficients, and Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Results: One third of respondents were shown to be Convergers in their learning style (33.3%). The Academic Achievement of students who were Convergers was significantly higher than those who were Divergers or Accommodators (F=5.95, p=.001). The SDL and CTD of students who were Convergers were significantly higher than Divergers and Assimilators (F=9.67, p<.001 and F=8.42, p<.001). No significant correlations were found between Academic Achievement and SDL or CTD, but a statistically significant positive correlation was found between SDL and CTD (r=.68, p<.001). Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that learning style influences academic achievement, SDL and CTD.

클럽 패션 스타일 분석 및 디자인 개발 - 홍대 강남 지역 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Club Fashion Styles for Designing Clubber Fashion - Focusing on the Hongdae and Kangnam Club Areas -)

  • The club culture is not something unified. Rather, it is a group of subcultures which share intertwined areas. And it keeps its own dress code, dance style, music genre along with series of authoritarian and unlawful rituals. For young adults, a club is a new cultural space to enjoy in reasonable price and they can express themselves without thinking much about others. A club creates its unique mass culture by producing continuously changing and experimental fashion styles. As the club culture’s influence becomes powerful, the club market was established and experimental fashion styles are wide spread among general public, young adults who try to express their unique characters and even fashion-leading industry. The study results are as follows. First, dance club and its derivative, rave is symbolic axles and the center of social activity. They are also defined as culture which is related to specific space that continues to present and change sound and style. Second, the definition of clubber in a dictionary is club member or a person who is united with others. Third, based upon clubbers' fashion styles in Hongdae and Kang-nam areas, there are 5 different images including sexy casual, lingerie, dynamic, chic style and feminine style. Fourth, based upon case study above, to take unique life style of fashionista that leads fashion with trendy fashion style into account, we suggested five designs which are unique, sensitive and trendy. Fifth, through analyzing clubber generation and design factors of clubbers' fashion style combined with various trend, unique brand was developed to meet the demands of clubbers who want differentiated images and leading styles.

결혼이주 임신여성의 스트레스 대처방식 유형에 따른 모-태아애착과 모성정체성 (Maternal-Fetal Attachment and Maternal Identity according to Type of Stress Coping Strategies on Immigration Pregnancy Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive survey study was designed to identify the stress coping types of married immigrant pregnant women and find out the differences in maternal-fetal attachment and maternal identity based on each types. Methods: 151 married immigrant women who visited 3 women's hospitals located in J-do for pre-pregnancy checkup were selected as study objects. Data were analyzed by dsecriptive statistics, cluster analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ multiple comparison test. Results: Cluster analysis revealed 4 distinct stress coping styles; low stress-coping involvement social support-oriented type, high stress-coping involvement hopeful thinking type, low stress-coping involvement type, effective stress coping types. Women frequently using effective stress coping type among the four types reported higher maternal-fetal attachment. The group of active coping styles got significantly higher score on maternal identity. Conclusion: Proper stress coping of married immigrant pregnant women regarding pregnancies proved to result in high levels of maternal-fetal attachment and maternal identity. Studies measuring the stress coping styles that affect pregnancies should be continuously conducted.
