  • In this study, we intend to test whether experience variables such as sense, feel, think, relate, and action experiential activities of farming village can be usefully applied to revisit intention. As a result, we found that the sense, relate, and action experiences were adopted, while the feel and think variables were rejected, leading to the conclusion that Schmitt's (1999) experiential marketing theory was also applied to 6th industry experience marketing activities in rural areas. Therefore, the significant effect of rural experience activities on revisiting intention is thought to be related to the fact that they stimulated sensitivities by drawing attention and interest of consumers during the 6th industrial experience configuration, and to the environmental facilities connected to the experience site. The Feel experience has been rejected due to limitation of development of emotional element from the 6th industry certification business experience program, leading to the necessicity for development of a program that can stimulate the consumer's emotions. The reason why the Think experience was rejected is that the experience of the rural area 6th industry did not create surprises or curiosity, and thus does not meet the expectations of consumers. In case of relational experience, experiential marketing through social organizational relationship formation is expanding, and in case of behavioral experience, experience of 6th industry constitutes experience related to interaction with others and lifestyle.

Online is greatly increasing consumers' digital customer experience based on digital technologies. In this study, we studied the effect of digital experience factors on digital customer satisfaction based on the Schmitt(1999)'s experience marketing. The effect of digital customer satisfaction on purchase, continuous use intention, and recommendation intention were also studied. In addition, the moderating effect of experience frequency was studied. We randomly sampled 180 individuals among fashion mall users.. SPSS 24, AMOS 23 and Process Macro 3.5 were used for statistical analysis. In the study in which digital experience factors influence digital customer satisfaction, all except the digital act showed positive influence. The impact of influence was digital sense (β = .366) > digital think (β = .225)> digital feel (β = .191) > digital relate(β = .163). Digital customer satisfaction have been positive impact on purchasing, continuance use and recommendation intention. In the moderating effect of digital experience frequency, between digital feel, digital act and digital customer experience showed a statistically effective relationship. In this study, the elements of sales promotion was picked out and 5 types of experience such as sense, feel, think, act, relate of Bernd H. Schmitt was investigated. The spatial composition of drugstores were classified into destination, assortment, convenience and occasion, and through self experienced visual research, the experiential marketing strategy applied to drugstores and the elements of sales promotion applied with experiential marketing was analyzed. The streets of Hongik University as a strategic point of beauty, by selecting four H&B stores which were recently opened, a future direction is proposed by conducting the case analysis on the elements of sales promotion of drugstores and the spatial composition of drugstores applied with experiential marketing. In conclusion, in overall space, the behavioral experiential elements are weak. The behavioral experiential elements are a marketing that induce the intuitive behavior added with expertise and considered difficult to be maintained. Although the consumers think that the biggest value of drugstores is 'free and convenient product test' but in the other hand, they tend to think most positively about the consulting of experts. Therefore, the space emphasized with expertise should be more highlighted but such space should consider the convenience of consumers.

  • This study tried to investigate the relationships among the sought benefits, consumer-brand relationship and purchase experiences with regard to cosmetics, based on Scmitt (1999)'s Strategic Experiential Modules (SEM) which classified consumer's purchase experiences into five modules (sense, feel, think, act & relate) and provide strategic implications based on the results. According to the result, among the sought benefits of cosmetics, functionality had the most significant impact on purchase experience, and brand affected "sense" and "think-act-relate" experiential modules. Fashion was only found to affect "feel" module. Also, the "think-act-relate" module positively affected all components of consumer-brand relationship. And, "love and passion" component was significantly influenced by sensory experience, while "mutual commitment" and "affinity" were both affected by affective experience. In addition, gender difference was found in fashion, economy, and functionality among the sought benefits, Specifically, women showed higher score on fashion and functionality than men, while men scored higher in economy benefit than women. Also gender was a differentiating factor for "feel" and "think-act-relate" experiential modules, where women scored higher than men. Finally, In terms of causal relationships, "functionality" influenced all three experiential modules (sense, feel, think-act-relate) for both men and women. But, women showed more significant relationship between brand and sensory module, whereas men showed significant relationship between brand and think-act-relate module. At conclusion, the study provides some strategic implications that cosmetics companies need to strengthen brand relationship with consumers in order to provide them with targeted purchase experiences that fit the benefits most sought by them, which will result in competitive strengths.

  • Recently, as consumer interest in DIY increases and the industry develops, theoretical interest in DIY is also gradually increasing, but in-depth research has hardly been conducted. In particular, research on DIY marketing from a marketing perspective is lacking, and moreover, the influence of the characteristics of individuals participating in DIY has hardly been studied. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to supplement the limitations of these existing studies by examining the effect of individual characteristics on DIY experience and intention to continue. In addition, we hypothesized the effects of these variables on the DIY experience such as sense, feel, think, act, relate, and the effect of the DIY experience on intention to continue DIY. We analyzed 231 copies of data for consumers who have experienced DIY in various fields, and the results are as follows. As expected, it was found that affect intensity positively influenced sense and feel, need for cognition had a positive effect on think, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on act and relate. As expected, it was found that affect intensity had an effect on sense and feel, need for cognition had an effect on think, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on act and relate. And it was confirmed that all DIY experiences had a positive effect on the intention to continue DIY. This study provides theoretical and strategic implications by confirming the influence of personal characteristics of DIY consumers and approaching DIY from the perspective of a comprehensive experience.

  • Science festivals have occupied a very important axle in informal science education that enables students to experience the amazement of scientific experiments to think over scientific principals beyond the formal education in the classrooms. Among the concerned person, the most benefit-taken group may be the assistant who help the participants experience the activities in the festival. In order to find out the ways to make the student assistant's participation into a meaningful education experience, we analyzed the types of the activities in the science festival as well as the characteristics of the interaction between the student-assistants and the participating students are studied. The research findings are as follows: First, most activities in the science festival had related to the scientific concepts or principals; however, the understanding of the concepts and principals didn't highly affect the procedure of the activities. In many cases the students operated and made results without checking the related concepts or principals. Second, the student-assistants showed the consistency of operation in guiding their activities. They were explaining mainly the process of the experiments without giving a chance to think of related concepts or principles. We suggest that teacher should consider the student-assistants' learning in the festival as well as that of the participants.
