LNG 냉열과 재생 유기 랭킨 사이클을 이용한 복합 사이클의 성능 특성 해석 (Performance Characteristics Analysis of Combined Cycle Using Regenerative Organic Rankine Cycle and LNG Cold Energy)

  • This paper presents a thermodynamic performance analysis of a combined cycle consisting of regenerative organic Rankine cycle (ORC) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) Rankine cycle to recover low-grade heat source and the cold energy of LNG. The mathematical models are developed and the system performances are analyzed in the aspect of thermodynamics. The effects of the turbine inlet pressure and the working fluid on the system performance such as the mass flow rates, heat transfers at heat exchangers, power productions at turbines, and thermal efficiency are systematically investigated. The results show that the thermodynamic performance of ORC such as net power production and thermal efficiency can be significantly improved by the regenerative ORC and the LNG cold energy.

  • 본 연구에서는 아파트단지에 적용되는 태양열 급탕 시스템의 에너지 활용도를 높이기 위해 유기랭킨사이클을 적용하여 해석적 연구를 수행하였다. 시스템 해석은 Aspen $Plus^{(R)}$을 활용하였으며 태양열집열기는 급탕 온도와 유기랭킨 사이클의 운전 조건을 고려하여 진공관형 집열기를 적용하였다. R134a, R141a, R245fa 등의 냉매를 작동유체로 선정하였으며, 시스템 성능해석을 통하여 R245fa 냉매가 적용가능성이 가장 높게 나타났다. 비가역성 해석과 민감도 해석을 통해 유기랭킨 사이클 시스템의 효율 및 성능 확보를 위해서는 증발기와 터빈에 대한 기술 개발이 매우 중요하다는 것을 밝혀냈으며, 순수 급탕으로만 활용하는 시스템에 전기 생산 설비를 추가하게 되면 약 50%의 추가적인 경제성이 확보됨을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper an optimization of the industrial congeneration system which have a thermal storage tank is proposed for the short-term operation strategy. Short-term operation costs of topping cycle and bottoming cycle are calculated by using the proosed model of a thermal storage tank. Simulation result of four cases are compared and analyzed each other.By these simulations which are similar to real operation circumstances. the validity of the proposed model is verified.

  • 액체로켓엔진의 연소기는 고온고압의 연소가스에 의해 벽면온도가 매우 높은 수준에 도달하기 때문에, 연소기가 열적으로 안정적으로 작동할 수 있는 메카니즘이 필요하게 되며, 따라서 이러한 방식의 하나로서 추진제를 이용한 재생냉각방식이 널리 사용되고 있다. 일반적으로 재생냉각형 연소기의 내벽은 열전도도가 우수한 구리 또는 구리합금 계열이 많이 사용되고 있다. 이러한 내벽 재질의 내구성은 주로 creep rupture, low cycle thermal fatigue, thermal-mechanical ratcheting에 의해 결정되는데, 사각형태의 냉각채널의 연소기에서는 thermal-mechanical ratcheting 특성이 수명 결정 주요 인자이다. Thermal-mechanical ratcheting은 그림 1과 같이 연소가스 영역과 냉각제 영역을 분리하는 벽면에서 국부적인 부풀음이 일어나면서 벽면두께가 감소하는 소성변형 형태로 나타나는데, 이러한 것을 Dog- house 형상이라 한다.

  • The fatigue behavior of thermal butt fusion in safety class III high-density polyethylene (HDPE) buried piping for nuclear power plants was investigated using load-controlled bending fatigue on four-point bend test specimens. Based on the results, the presence of thermal butt fusion beads was confirmed to reduce the fatigue lifetime in the low- and medium-cycle fatigue regions while having a negligible effect in the high-cycle fatigue regions.

  • In this paper, the effects of the reflow number in the mechanical reliability of flip chip solder joint was investigated by flip chip shear test and thermal shock test. For evaluation mechanical reliability of flip chip, We experiment that specimens were operated 3-times, 6-times, 9-times, 12-times under reflow Process. After shear test and thermal shock test, We measured max shear strength and coming first crack number of thermal cycle. And We observe fracture surface and cross section by using SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) and optical scope. In the results, the more specimens were operated reflow process, the more decreased maximum shear strength and number of thermal cycle.

  • A thermal aging is observed in a primary reactor cooling system(RCS) made of a casting stainless steel when the RCS is exposed for long period at the reactor operating temperature, 290~3300C An investigation of effects of thermal aging on a low cycle fatigue characteristics included a stress variations caused by a reactor operation and trip, is required. The purpose of the present investigation is to find an effect of a thermal aging of the CF8M on a low cycle fatigue life. The specimen of CF8M are prepared by an artificially accelerated aging technique holding 300 and 1800hr at 4300C respectively. The low cycle fatigue tests for the virgin and two aged specimens are performed at the room temperature for various strain amplitudes($\varepsilon$ta), 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5% strain. Through the experiment, it is found that the fatigue life is rapidly reduced with an creasing of the aging time. The experimental fatigue life estimation formulas between the virgin and two aged specimen are obtained and are proposed to a analysis purpose.

핀치포인트온도차에 따른 해양온도차발전용 유기랭킨사이클의 성능분석 (Performance analysis of an organic Rankine cycle for ocean thermal energy conversion system according to pinch point temperature difference)

  • 해양온도차발전용 유기랭킨사이클은 해양의 표층수와 심층수사이의 온도차를 이용하여 발전하는 사이클이다. 작동유체는 유기랭킨사이클의 열역학적 성능에 있어 중요한 요소이다. 유기랭킨사이클의 열역학적 분석방법으로 핀치포인트분석이 있다. 본 연구는 열교환기내 핀치포인트온도차의 변화와 열원 및 열침의 출구온도의 변화에 따른 열역학적 성능분석을 수행하였다. 핀치포인트분석법에 따라 설계한 해양온도차발전용 단순랭킨사이클에 7종의 단일 작동유체를 적용하여 열역학적 성능을 분석하였다. 성능분석결과 열교환기에서 핀치포인트온도차와 열원 및 열침의 온도변화가 작을수록 사이클 총 비가역성 및 총 엑서지 파괴인자가 감소하였으며, 제2법칙 효율은 상승하였다. 또한 비가역성은 열역학적 변화가 발생한 곳에서 크게 변화하였다. RE245fa2는 선정한 작동유체 중에서 가장 우수한 열역학적 성능을 보여주었으며, 모든 작동유체의 성능은 유사하였다. 열교환기 및 작동유체 선정에 있어 열역학적 성능과 함께 다양한 요소들에 대해서도 엄밀한 이론적 근거가 필요하다.

디젤기관에 대한 앳킨슨사이클 구성과 사이클의 열역학적 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Composition of Atkinson Cycle and Thermodynamically Analysis for a Diesel Engine)

  • The present study composed a diesel-atkinson cycle of high expansion as a method of achieving high efficiency in diesel cycle engines. It also interpreted the cycle engine thermodynamically analysis to determine the possibility of the improvement of thermal efficiency and clarified the characteristics of several factors . According to the result of theoretical analysis, heat efficiency was highest when expansion-compression ratio Reど:1. In addition. diesel engines with high apparent compression ratio had higher expansion-compression ratio than otto engines and consequently their effect of high expansion was high. which in turn enhanced thermal efficiency. When the atkinson cycle was implemented in a real diesel engine by applying the miller cycle through the variation of the closing time of the intake valve, the effective compression ratio and the quantify of intake air decreased and as a result, the effect of high expansion was not observed. Accordingly. the atkinson cycle can be implemented when the quantity of intake air is compensated by supercharge and the effective compression ratio is maintained at its initial level through the reduction of the clearance volume. In this case. heat efficiency increased by $4.1\%$ at the same expansion-compression ratio when the apparent compression ratio was 20 and the fuel cut off ratio was 2. As explained above, when the atkinson cycle was used for diesel cycle. heat efficiency was improved. In order to realize high expansion through retarding the intake value closing time, the engine needs to be equipped with variable valve timing equipment, variable compression ratio equipment and supercharged Pressure equipment. Then a diesel-atkinson cycle engine is realized.
