Objectives : The aim of this study was to show the application to add the Dong-Qi therapy of the Dong-Si acupuncture to exercise therapy of the movement system impairment syndrome(MSIS) and to determine the best acupuncture point for the Dong-Qi therapy. Methods : We reviewed Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement Impairment Syndrome and Movement System Impairment Syndromes Of The Extremities, Cervical and Thoracic Spines written by Sahrmann SA. to show the exercise therapy of the sort of MSIS. We reviewed complete works of Yang Wei Jie to show the acupuncture points of the Dong-Si acupuncture and the Dong-Qi therapy. Results : We showed the acupuncture point of the Dong-Si acupuncture by each type of MSIS based on the reference book of MSIS, the Dong-Si acupuncture. Also, we selected and tabulated the best possible acupuncture point of the Dong-Si acupuncture which could minimize a side effect of acupuncture during the therapeutic exercise by each type of MSIS. Conclusion : A specific acupuncture point of the Dong-Si acupuncture could be chosen for a specific MSIS therapeutic exercise. The best possible acupuncture point could be chosen when selecting an acupuncture point of the Dong-Si acupuncture.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence on sympathetic nerve system of interferential current therapy(ICT). The subjects were consisted of 20 senile patients, 10 males and 10 females with an average age of 71 years old. And systolic and diastolic blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory were tested. The results were as follows: 1) Systolic and diastolic blood pressure were observed a statistical significance between before and during stimulation(p < .05). 2) Temperature was observed a statistical significance between before and during, and before and after 10 minutes stimulation(p < .05). 3) Heart rate and respiratory were not statistical significance(p > .05). These results are imply that electrical stimulation is directly or indirectly influence on sympathetic nerve system.

This case is intended to present the effectiveness of TMJ balance therapy, which normalizes the yin-yang balance of the cranial nervous system, including the meridian system. Temporomandibular joint balance therapy was performed on growing children with occlusal abnormalities, and clinical results were measured through specific observation of height and weight. The patient showed improvement in deep bite and satisfactory increase in growth after treatment. From these observations, it can be inferred that temporomandibular joint balance therapy has a positive effect not only on the brain nervous system but also on the action of pituitary hormones. For a more accurate evaluation, clinical and biological research on temporomandibular joint balance therapy (TBT) is needed.

Background : This study aims to examine the awareness as to the terminological comprehension about the home and visiting physical therapy and the school physical therapy and the need for development as to the associated insurance costs. And the purpose of the study is to provide the basic data in terms of the preparation process for implementation of the related system. Methods : The study conducted the research that targeted the physical therapists, who were working at the rehabilitation hospital located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do as for the survey questionnaires as to the need and awareness of development of the adequate insurance fee of home physical therapy, visiting physical therapy and school physical therapy. Result : Even though the level of understanding for the terminologies was low, the need for development of insurance fee for home physical therapy, visiting physical therapy and school physical therapy was shown to be high regardless of age and work experience. However, there was not a statistical difference in accordance with age and work experience (p>.05). Conclusion : It directly reflects the result, which hopes home physical therapy, visiting physical therapy and school physical therapy to enter immediately into the frame of system.

To evaluate the fields of human anatomy and physiology important in clinical practice of physical therapy, a questionnaire survey was performed for 70 physical therapists who were practicing in general hospitals, clinics, public health centers, and rehabilitation centers in several provinces including Seoul and Chungcheongdo. Fields of anatomy and physiology were divided into 13 chapters and subdivided into 52 items. And the preferred ranks were statistically analysed according to the career of physical therapists, nature of the institute and the post of duty. As results joint system, muscular system, skeletal system and nervous system were ranked in the fields of great importance. The relative importance of practical knowledge in anatomy and physiology should be considered in educating students as well as reeducation of practitioners.

Purpose: A survey was conducted to investigate the role, priority, and awareness of physical therapists in the community care system for the elderly. Methods: Nine hundred ninety-three physical therapists were invited to an online survey from 1st to 30th June 2020. Results: While the awareness of physical therapists for the community care system for the elderly was found to be low, the role priority and performance ability were found to be high. Fall training scored the highest for the job duties of physical therapists, and functional training scored the highest for the performance ability of physical therapists. For the role priority by the education status regarding the community care system, the participants who received the education program showed higher scores in the performance ability than those who did not. For the role priority and performance ability according to the education levels, higher education levels resulted in higher scores in both outcomes. Regarding the clinical experience, low scores were found in the participants with less than five years of experience. Conclusion: Physical therapy establishes itself as an essential area of expertise in the community care system for the elderly. Therefore, these results can be utilized in developing a model for Korean community care for the elderly.

purpose: Image Guide System offers therapy precise, especially Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy. However, organs at pelvis have variation and uncertainties each therapy. it brings IG system for verifying patient's position. In this study, analysis the variation at pelvis during rectal cancer radiation therapy. Moreover design the patient re-setup technique and apply to patients. Material and Method: 40 rectal cancer patient who have radiation therapy. The 530 image which acquired from IG system are analyzed. The bone structure, bladder, gas in the rectum, small bowel, soft tissue, weigh loss are evaluated by the criterion. The criterion are classified by best, good, bad and figure out the ratio with count. The re-setup proceed in case of one or over the two get the bad criterion and figure out the ratio of re-setup results: The ideal of therapy ratio is 19.2 % each criterion. And the good for therapy ratio is 54.9 %, the cases of bad for therapy is 25.8 %. The bad cases are have therapy after re-setup with post process. conclusion: Each pre-treatment image that acquired IG system has different results despite of same patients. The 25.8 % need to re-setup in order to unsuitable therapy. It is implies that the IG system is necessary establishing precise treatment plan like IMRT especially rectal cancer.

The most of patients and protectors point that the Home Visting Physical Therapy is necessary and compulsive. A Public Health Center and a Welfare Center have to help a home visiter for treatment cure to ask for professional medical services in general hospital. On getting a name lists of patients a treatment of doctors, they must remark the conditions of the patients to keep the mutual relation general hospital. A home visiting physical therapists in the welfare center and public health center need to discuss a main doctors in a same center for revaluation of patients. The system in a general hospital consists of the medical department and the administration with the doctor of hospital as the central figure. A department of home visiting physical therapy has a physical therapy team closely connected with various medical office in hospital. The system in a public health center is composed of the health executive office, health direction medicine office, and the community health office. Department of home visiting physical therapy belongs to community health office. Home visiting physical therapy in a welfare center belongs to home visiting service office. The qualifications of a physical therapist is intended for people who have received clinic experience of three years and regular education. The theory (352 hours) and practice (248 hours) total to 600 hours. They can develop professional skills through these education courses. The frequency of home visiting is proper third a week after talking with a medical attendant about the state of patient. The care time is proper from 30 to 60 minutes.

Objectives : This study was to performed to investigate the effect of herbal steam therapy on acne vulgaris. Methods : 6 patients with acne vulgaris were treated with korean medicine therapy (herbal medicine and acupunture) including herbal steam therapy. We evaluated the effect by Korean Acne Grading System(KAGS) and Pictures. Results : After treatment, the KAGS Grade of all patients treated with korean medicine therapy including herbal steam therapy is 1. Based on this, we could find that korean medicine therapy including herbal steam therapy is effective and available to ameliorate for the symptoms of acne vulgaris. Conclusions : This clinical cases study shows us that korean medicine therapy including herbal steam therapy seem to be effective to improve symptoms of acne vulgaris. Further studies will be needed to identify herbal steam therapy is beneficial to acne vulgaris.

Every citizen has a right to get the least health care service for their living and should be guaranteed the right of health which is specified in the constitution of Korea. Therefore, health care service should realize the equity and accessibility of service by the equitable distribution which is needed for health care. The objects of this study were the patients who was treated by the physical therapy in health care center(two of them located in cities and others are in agricultural areas). These are the results of our study. First, the age, job, sex and experience of former treatment of objects showed no meaningful statistic difference in the part of convenience of health care center, where as the system of health scurity showed highly meaningful difference. Second, The age, job and system of health care of objects showed no meaningful difference in the part of attitude and appreciation to therapist, where as the experience of former treatment in other center showed highly meaningful difference. Third, The age, job and sex of objects showed no meaningful difference in the part of the appreciation to results of service, where as the system of health scurity and the experience of former treatment in other center showed meaningful difference. To offer the effective physical therapy, the government of province or nation should invest the large amount of financial fund continuously and make the plan of efficient operating system for the physical therapy service room of public health center which is the most nearly located to native citizen. The problem of distance, low reliability to public service, public relation and reliabity should be improved to raise the utility of physical therapy room. And also, the physical therapy room should be opened in health subcenter to offer the condition of the native citizen's healthy life.
