A nine-month-old Pomeranian dog with exercise intolerance and syncope was presented. The dog was depressed with grade 4 systolic murmur on cardiac auscultation. Based on cardiac examination, the dog was diagnosed with severe subaortic stenosis with involvement of the anterior mitral valve. ${\beta}-blocker$ administration was initiated and clinical signs were improved, but not fully resolved. Balloon valvuloplasty was performed and the dog survived for nearly one year without clinical sign and the cardiac troponin I level was normalized. This case describes successful management of severe subaortic stenosis in a small breed dog through balloon valvuloplasty.

A 3 year-old male American Pit Bull Terrier in Kwang-Ju, Chonnam was admitted to the Teaching Animal Hospital, Chonbuk National University. He showed convulsive spasms of skeletal muscles, raised tail-head, and rigidity of rigidity. Based on these clinical sign\ulcorner tetanus was suspected Hematological test results showed and WBC value (21 ,800/$\mu$l/) with neutrophils (17.877/$\mu$l) and monocytes (1.744/$\mu$l). The blood chemical values ALT (86 IU/L) and AST (119 IU/L) were elevated. Fecal sample from the dog was cultured in anaerobic chamber. A Gram positive, drumstick shaped bacteria was isolated. The bacteria was identified as Clostridium tetani by biological and biochemical tests. The dog was hospitalized in a quiet place where the light was cut off and treated with penicillin G procaine and phenobarbital sodium. The dog made a complete recovery 25 days after treatment. This Is the first report on C. tetani infection of domestic dog in Korea.

Nowadays, due to the increase of the aging population and the decreased size of the traditional nuclear family, pet dogs are considered to be important member of the family. The pet industry has been growing every year; subsequently, is essential to develop practical patterns and designs which are appropriate for the structure and movement of pet dogs. However, studies for developing a new form of pet dog's wear patterns and designs are limited. This study develops an all-in-one pattern which is based on pet dog's size, designs pet dog's wear items based on all-in-one patterns, and provides support to the manufacture of pet dog's wear. The results are as follow: 1) An analysis for the categories and design characteristics of all-in-one pet dog's wear according to the research from the online pet dog's wear shopping sites is provided. Eight categories are classified as follows: rompers, body suit, coveralls, training suit, special clothing, overalls, rain coat, and hanbok. 2) The production of all-in-one pet dog's wear basic pattern based on the basic bodice pattern from the prior studies and the manufacturer's patterns are being displayed. 3) Developments of the patterns and designs for eight all-in-one clothing consider the design characteristics and the situations. 4) Developments of the previous eight items illustrate the results of this research.

Ununited Anconeal Process (UAP) is defined as a disease of young dogs due to developmental abnormality in which there is a seperation of the anconeal process from the diaphysis of the ulna, leading to a front leg lameness and secondary osteoarthritis. A six -year-old German Shepherd dog was presented because of intermittent right front leg lameness. Diagnosis was made of ununited anconeal process with moderate osteoarthritis by radiographic examination. Surgical removal of ununited anconeal process and curettage of osteoarthritic growth within the elbow joint relieved significant clinical signs despite of size and age of the dog.

A 12-year-old, castrated male, mixed dog presented with a history of gradual abdominal distention for a year and anorexia recently, with abdominal radiographs showing a gastric pylorus distention. A solitary, pedunculated, heterogeneous mass arising from the mucosal layer in the pylorus with intact wall layers was identified during ultrasound and computed tomography. The gastric muscular layer was evenly thick. After surgical excision of the mass, histological examination confirmed hypertrophic pyloric gastropathy with polypoid growth and Helicobacter spp. infiltrating the gastric mucosal epithelium. This is the first reported diagnostic imaging case of hypertrophic pyloric gastropathy with Helicobacter spp. in a dog.

Alopecia was the main complaint in a 4 year old female Cocker spaniel dog. bilateral alopecia has been presented on skin lesion for 10 months after ovariohysterectomy about one year ago. Hyperestrogenism was diagnosed by the blood estradiol level test. Left ovarian cyst was resected in the intact ovarian position by laparotomy. Total size of the cyst was about 3 cm and it was the shape of follicular cyst. Blood estradiol level is usually higher than normal in ovarian cyst. But even though estradiol level is in normal range, dermatitis could be induced because the number of estrogen receptor of the skin would be increased or the duration of estrogen secretion would be prolonged. Because the hyperestrogenism in this case is iatrogenic, exact and proper ovariohysterectomy should be made not to induce the complications.

A 6-year-old, neutered male, Schnauzer was presented with a one year history of weight loss and exercise intolerance. Physical examination revealed abdominal distention and ecchymosis on the abdominal skin. CBC and serum chemistry profiles revealed anemia and increased serum liver enzymes. Ultrasonography revealed a large liver mass which was characterized by multiple hypoechoic lesions. Postmortem examination revealed primary hepatic hemangiosarcoma. The tumor had extended to the mesentery and diaphragm, but distant metastasis was not found. This case report describes primary hepatic hemangiosarcoma which is very rare in a dog.

A 7-year-old male poodle dog with abdominal distension and dysuria was referred to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Jeju National University. Intraabdominal mass was detected by radiography and ultrasonography. Surgical excision was performed by laparotomy. After the operation, this intraabdominal mass was diagnosed as seminoma based on histopathologic examination.

A 5-year-old castrated male Shih-tzu dog and a 9-year-old intact female Schnauzer dog were presented with anorexia and depression. These 2 dogs were diagnosed based on which criteria as primary immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA). Blood examination showed anemia, spherocytosis, auto-agglutination and total bilirubinemia in 2 cases. These dogs were recovered by treatment of mycophenolate mofetil and prednisolone, and showed good prognosis until now. Mycophenolate mofetil is recommended as initial treatment in canine IMHA.
