애니메이션영화 <코코> 색상이 공간의 모델링 분석 (Analysis on Color Shaping the Space of Animated Film Coco)

  • 중요한 시각적 요소로서 애니메이션영화의 색은 현실을 묘사할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 영화 공간을 형성하는 데 중요한 역할을 하는 감정과 의미를 전달할 수 있다. 가장 성공적인 애니메이션영화 중 하나로 <코코>는 영화 공간을 형성하기 위해 대담하고 독특한 색 언어를 사용한다. 민족 색상은 이야기 공간을 만들어 이야기 배경을 멕시코 지역 및 문화 풍습으로 가득 채우며, 색상 대조로 물리적 공간을 만들고 공간 모델링 및 차원 감을 뚜렷이 표현하며, 색상 연상 형식으로 심리적 공간을 만들어 관중들은 영화 정신세계에 인도하게 한다. <코코>의 공간 색상 분석을 통해, 애니메이션영화 공간 모델링은 색상의 특성 및 기능을 충분히 활용하고, 공간의 특성에 따라, 다른 색상 언어를 사용해야 하며 영화 공간의 표현 형식을 확장하고 영화 공간의 의미를 깊게 한다.

인상주의 회화에 나타난 근대도시의 기호와 여성패션 (Women's Fashion and Signs of the Modern City Expressed on Paintings by the Impressionists)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the meaning of women's fashion in the city culture of Paris in the nineteenth century by examining paintings by the Impressionists. The research method was based on literature survey and visual examination paintings, 224 paintings(by ${\acute{E}}douard$ Manet, James Tissot, Edgar DeGas, Gustave Cailleboat, Jean $B{\acute{e}}raud$, Pierre-Auguste Renoir) were analyzed in this study. The results are as follows: In the nineteenth century, Paris was a new city with new department stores. Department stores were centers of consumer culture, where the power of capital appeared rather than class. The spatial backgrounds of Impressionist paintings were places where they could see the consumption and leisure culture of urban people, such as outdoor parks, cafes, theaters, ballrooms, bars, streets, and the boats. As for the characteristics of women's fashion in paintings, it was found that various changes of artificial silhouettes were developed. Various frills, ruffles, gatherings, and pleats were thought to have been made by machines. In the urban space, many of the women's costumes stood out because of the black color. Not only the black color came to represent widows and mourning but the black outfits worn by women enhanced their sensual appearances. Women's fashion expressed in Impressionist paintings eventually contained a modern meaning that changed from 'class symbol' to 'expression of taste'. And the symbol of consumer and leisure culture showed, and a Demimonde's fashion became a trendsetter, and painters were used as an important element expressing modernity.

현대건축에서 나타나는 복합적 외피의 표현적 특성에 관한 연구 - 헤르조그 & 드 뮤론의 건축물을 중심으로 - (The Study on the Expressive Characteristics of Complex Surface in Contemporary Architecture - focused on of Herzog & de Meuron's Architecture -)

  • The first visual contact in architecture happens in surface, and it could be significant object as well as the starting point to recognize the essence and perceive the buildings. Architecture surface could not get out of the restriction of structures and materials that support buildings for a long time in the past. Architecture surface in the past should fulfill the structural role to form are appearance of buildings and support buildings at the same time, so it was difficult to get out of logic for material and thickness of walls, arrangements and sizes of windows. However, since the modern age, architecture surface came to be freer according to the development of building technology, and development of technology changes shows tendencies to express role of new design factor as an architectural element emphasized expression and autonomy,s which was escaped from the subordinate relationship that the surface of building must do the structural function. In this study, it would be examined the expressive characteristics of various epidermis that are expressed in architecture of Herzog & de Meuron since the end of 20thcentury focused on comprehended and analyzed results of changes and characteristics of contemporary society. Through this, it would be comprehended the epidermis of architecture that has particular character expressed in modern buildings of Herzog & de Meuron, and it would be composed a certain linkage between this and characteristics of contemporary society and it would be investigated that the establishing process of inner spaces. Identification through case analysis for this would perform a role of catalyst for the new possibility and development of contemporary architecture's surface expression in the future.

  • 수요자 중심의 서비스디자인 방법론에 따른 사회적 문제 해결과 공공서비스 혁신의 사례가 늘고 있는 가운데 행정안전부는 공공서비스디자인 기법의 시행령을 개정하여 각 기관별 사업 과제에 적용하고 있다. 본 논문은 서비스디자인방법론 과정과 프로토타입 단계에서 핵심 해결안을 $360^{\circ}$ VR 콘텐츠로 시각화하여 수요자에게 서비스에 관한 이해력과 효과적인 개선안을 전달할 수 있도록 연구하였고 실제 공공서비스디자인 프로젝트에 적용하여 개선 후 만족도가 높은 결과를 미리 예측해 볼 수 있었다. 본 논문은 수요자에게 새로운 경험적 가치를 주고 $360^{\circ}$ VR 프로토타입을 활용한 미래의 서비스디자인에 관한 융합연구로서 서비스디자인 프로세스의 향상에 기여할 수 있는 새로운 접근 방법을 제시하고 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

대학의 캐릭터 디자인 분석 (Analysis on Character Designs of Universities)

  • 21세기 들어 교육환경의 급격한 변화로 각 대학들은 새로운 대학이미지 구축 즉, 이미지 마케팅 개발에 박차를 가하고 있다. 그 아이템의 하나인 캐릭터는 내부적으로 구성원의 단합과 대학의 자긍심과 전통성을 고취함과 동시에 대외 홍보의 수단으로도 연계되어 대학의 이미지 제고를 위한 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있기에 각 대학은 그들의 아이덴티티와 이미지를 효과적으로 나타내기 위한 캐릭터 개발에 주력하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 각 대학의 캐릭터들의 개발현황을 조사하고 대학의 대외 이미지 마케팅의 중요성에 비추어볼 때 대학의 이미지를 효과적으로 반영하고 있는지 여부와 대학의 결속 및 화합과 대학 아이덴티티(identity)를 확립하고 있는지를 살펴보고 동시에 학교 상징물과의 연관성 그리고 그 개발과 활용을 분석하고자 한다. 친근하고 차별화된 캐릭터는 그 시각적 홍보효과와 함께 대학 이미지를 특성 있게 알림으로써 대학 이미지 제고의 핵심 요소가 될 것으로 기대된다.

중년기 여성의 아쿠아로빅 웨어 디자인 개발을 위한 착의 평가 (Sensory Test for the Development of Aquarobic Wear Design for Middle-Aged Women)

  • Aesthetic impression, structural stability, functionality during exercise, freedom of movement and physiological suitability should be considered when developing aquarobic wear for middle-aged women. We conducted a visual evaluation of the commercial aquarobic wear of the five brands (ARENA, TURN, RALLY, RENOMA and ELLE) with the highest market share and selected three items: one-piece type (OPT); two-piece type (TPT) and whole-body type (WBT). These are the most worn types of aquarobic wear for each brand. The G4 showed the best results in appearance evaluation of the shoulder strap width, front neckline, armhole line, side hip line and short pants length in the OPT category. The TPT had better ratings as the shoulder strap was located in the center of the shoulder, and the front and the back necklines were not too deep. The five items of WBT clothing received similar ratings for each element, so it is considered that the advantages are evenly distributed. No single design was a clear favorite. Based on the above results, continuous research on the development of aquarobic wear that is more suitable and preferable for middle-aged women should be conducted.

배기팬츠의 산업패턴 비교·분석 연구 - 20대 초반 남성을 중심으로 - (A comparative analytical study of the industrial patterns of baggy pants - Focused on men in their early twenties -)

  • This study aims to give practical help to the pattern making of baggy pants produced in large quantity from industrial fields. The functionality of crotch part is a key element to decide wear sensation and comfort of pants as having direct influence on movements of legs in pattern designing of baggy pants. The industrial patterns of baggy pants in various styles that are released currently in Korea were collected and a comparative analysis was conducted on them for the thesis. First, samples of men baggy pants were collected from three different brands and compared the completion sizes. Secondly, it studied the most appropriate patterns as quantifying the appropriateness of movements through fitting tests. Finally, the study verified the differences of visual images by surveys of professional groups. The conclusions obtained from this research are as follows. In terms of aesthetic attribute among the three brands, A baggy pants, which had a small size tolerance, were the most appropriate. Meanwhile concerning the appropriateness of movement, B baggy pants were shown to be the most appropriate. This reveals explicitly the problem of aesthetic attribute and functionality, which are always in conflict during the pattern design. It is necessary to develop patterns and establish a measurement system that may satisfy both of these factors.

CCTV 카메라를 이용한 도로시정측정시스템의 성능평가 및 경제성 분석 (Performance Evaluation and Economic Analysis for the Road Visibility Measurement System using the CCTV Camera)

  • 안개로 인한 대형교통사고를 예방하기 위한 안개경고시스템의 핵심요소는 시정을 측정하는 장치이며, 최근 고가의 안개센서 보다 인간의 시정감각과 유사하면서도 저렴하고 정확한 시정측정장치에 대한 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문은 도로의 CCTV 카메라를 이용하여 시정을 측정하기 위해 개발된 도로시정측정시스템(RVMS)의 성능 평가 방법 및 결과를 제시하고, 고속도로 등 도로 적용에 따른 경제성과 활용방안을 제시한다. 성능평가는 여주시험도로에 전용 CCTV 카메라, 안개센서, 목측을 위한 시정표지를 설치하고 시험운영결과를 DVR에 기록하여, 특정 안개발생 시간대에 대해 RVMS와 안개센서 결과를 목측결과와 비교분석하였다. 실험결과, 목측을 기준으로 RVMS가 안개센서 대비 높은 측정안정성과 정확성을 가진 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 RVMS가 기존 안개센서 대비 높은 경제성을 가지고 있음을 제시하고 RVMS의 다양한 활용방안을 제시한다. 높은 성능과 경제성을 가진 RVMS의 적절한 활용은 안개발생시 도로 이용자의 교통사고 예방뿐만 아니라 광역 시정정보 수집 및 활용에 획기적인 계기를 마련할 것으로 기대된다.

오페라 '마술피리'의 무대의상 제작 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Stage Costume and Clothing Constructions for Opera, Using the Magic Flute)

  • The 21st century are seeing a large number of performing arts, and one of them, opera is evolving, transforming itself as one of total arts. Besides, the costume in performing art which play a major role in opera's visual impact, characterize figures, set the tone for performance and greatly contribute to the perfection of the stage. Under these circumstances, the study developed designs of stage costumes and built a full-scale production of the Magic Flute, one of three greatest Mozart operas. The opera based on a fiction, is still popular today since it is a fantastic fairy tale introducing moral and ethical lessons. The play's background itself is Egypt. But due to its fairy-take-like storyline, it has been performed focusing on various concepts rather than on costumes prepared through background research. As such, this study conducted research on designs of stage costumes that contains the element of Egypt and also take athleticism and comfort into consideration. The results derived from the study were as follows. First, traditional dresses of ancient Egypt were used as a basis while adding some modem touch in terms of forms or colors, which resulted in a new design. Second, a variety of images were captured using textures and colors that fit the characteristics of attributes of the figures. Third painting techniques were used to help highlight the symbolic image of Egypt-simple, not heavy and extravagant-with fairy-tale-like fantasy.

통합된 CAD/CAE 자동화 System을 이용한 구조 강도 해석 및 설계 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Analysis & Design Optimization Using Automation System Integrated with CAD/CAE)

  • In this paper, a CAB/CAE integrated optimal design system is developed, in which design and analysis process is automated using CAD/CAE softwares, for a complicated model for which parametric modeling provided by CAD software is not possible. CAD modeling process is automated by using UG/OPEN API function and UG/Knowledge Fusion provided by Unigraphics. The generated model is transferred to the analysis code ANSYS in parasolid format. Visual DOC software is used for optimization. The system is developed for PLS(Plasma Lighting System), which is a next generation illumination system that is used to illuminate stadium or outdoor advertizing panel. The PLS system consists of more then 20 components, which requires a lot of human efforts in modeling and analysis. The analysis for PLS includes static load, wind load and impact load analysis. As a result of analysis, it is found that the most critical component is a tilt assembly, which links lower & upper body assembly. For more reliable analysis, experiment is conducted using MTS and compared with the Finite element analysis result. The objective in the optimization is to minimize the material volume under allowable stresses. The design variables are three parameters in the tilt assembly that are chosen to be the most sensitive in stress values of twelve parameters. Gradient based method and RSM(Response Surface Method) are used for the algorithm and the results are compared. As a result of optimization, the maximum stress is reduced by 57%.
