In this paper we discuss the Socratic method from the aspects of subject education and examine the meaning of the method in mathematics education that is the most suitable subject for the realization of the Socratic method. In addition, as a realization of the Socratic method, we conducted a teaching-learning experiment of complex natural exponential function with a 2nd year college student. The results of the experiment are analyzed with the intention of improving instruction of the complex analysis that is one of the college mathematics courses.

본 연구에서는 2013년 중등학교 1급 정교사 자격 연수에 참가한 수학 교사 68명을 대상으로 산파법의 이해와 적용을 위한 교사 전문성 신장 연수 과정을 실행하였다. 총 3차시로 구성된 연수 강의에서 산파법의 개요와 특징, 산파법 수업 실행 사례 분석, 산파법 실행 실습, 산파법 대본 사례 검토, 선행 연구에서 드러난 산파법의 교육적 적용 방안을 다루었다. 연수 실행 전 후로 실시된 설문 조사의 기록 과정을 통해, 교사들이 자신의 지식에 대한 반성적 검토의 기회를 갖고 산파법 구사를 위해 더 공부해야 할 부분이나 극복해야 할 과제에 대해 생각해 볼 수 있도록 안내하였다. 연구 과정에서 수집된 조사기록지의 기록물 자료를 바탕으로 산파법의 교육적 적용과 관련된 현직 교사들의 지식 및 인식의 변화를 분석하고, 분석 결과에서 함의된 교사 교육에의 시사점을 도출하였다.

본 연구에서는 교사 전문성 신장을 위한 교사 교육의 방향을 점검하고, 이를 반영한 교사 연수 프로그램을 설계하였다. 교사 연수는 2014년 7월 수학과 1급 정교사 자격 연수과정에 참가한 중등 수학교사 50명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 연수 과정에서 교사들은 산파법을 적용한 수학 학습 지도 과정을 구상하고, 이를 교사와 학생간의 대화 양식으로 기록하는 사고 실험 실습을 하였다. 사고 실험 실습 과정은 좋은 수학수업을 구성하는데 필요한 교사의 역량과 반성적 실천가로서의 태도를 함양하기 위해 실행되었다. 연수를 통해 교사 교육자와 동료 교사들의 실천 사례가 공유되면서 교사의 배움이 확장되고 교사 전문성 신장을 위해 학습 공동체 연구의 필요성이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 교사 연수의 실행 과정과 그 결과를 분석하여 제시한다.

The purpose of this research is to introduce a new method for teaching family resource management using classroom experiments. Classroom experiments are very attractive in the sense that students are placed directly into the various environments being studied, and they enhance the effectiveness of the Socratic Method, as opposed to traditional lectures. The family resource management approach focuses on the resource allocation behavior of families in the utilization of their human and non-human resources to achieve goals. Therefore, there are many family resource decision situations to which classroom experiments may be fruitfully applied. Within this context, this research provides useful implications for applying managerial concepts of family resource management behavior in practical situations. The study results might be used to analyze an interactive framework that facilitates discussions of classroom experiments, family resource management behavior and human ecology.

In this paper, we develop a prototype of ITS(Intelligent Tutoring Systems) system: UNIX TUTOR. It is designed for the purpose of teaching the UNIX beginners the principal concepts of UNIX and the shell commands using the communication between the student and the system. UNIX TUTOR engages the student in a two-way conversation that is mixed-initiative dialogue and attempts to teach the student UNIX via the Socratic method of guided discovery and the Coaching method interchangeably. And the student model is based on both the overlay model and the buggy model together. Thus TUTOR aims at teaching the students effectively whose levels of learning are different using various explanations which are determined by the student model. Because the knowledge representation for UNIX-TUTOR is based on the frame structure and the production rules it is easy to represent the complicated constructs. UNIX TUTOR is implemented on the SPARC station using X/Motif and C for cp command among 10 ones which were selected.

본 논문은 초등학교 도덕교육에서의 논술교육의 방향과 내용, 방법을 구체화하기 위한 것이다. 최근 대입전형에서 논술이 약화되긴 하였지만 논술의 본질적 가치는 여전히 유효하다. 논술은 단순한 글쓰기를 넘어 한 인간의 가치관과 세계관을 드러내는 고도의 지적 기술로, 짧은 시간에 형성되기 어려운 능력이다. 따라서 논술교육은 중·고등학교보다 초등학교에서 독서와 토론을 중심으로 철학적 사고력을 기르는 데 초점이 두어져야 한다. 나아가 글쓰기를 넘어 철학적·반성적·비판적 사고력을 기른다는 점에서 초등학교 논술교육은 도덕과가 중심 역할을 해야 한다. 이 글은 초등학교 도덕교육에서의 논술교육의 토대를 제시하기 위하여 다음 세 가지에 초점을 두고 논의를 전개하였다. ①논술교육을 위하여 초등 도덕교육은 어떤 방향으로 나아가야 하는가? ②도덕 교과에서 논술의 기초를 마련하기 위하여 교육 내용과 방법은 어떠해야 하는가? ③구체적인 논술수업모형으로서의 개념분석 모형의 장점은 무엇이고 어떤 과정으로 이루어지는가? 이에 대해, 결과로서의 논술교육, 내용으로서의 철학교육, 방법으로서의 토론교육을 설정함으로써 초등학교 논술교육에서의 철학교육과 토론교육의 의미와 방법을 살펴보고 이를 개념분석모형에 적용하여 구체화시켜 보았다.

인간의 영혼에 대한 보살핌은 양질의 임종간호의 핵심 요소이다. 의미치료는 인간의 주요 동기가 삶의 의미와 목적을 발견하는 것이라는 전제에 기반을 두고 있으며, 호스피스 간호에서 환자, 가족 및 사랑하는 사람들에 대한 보살핌에 도움이 될 수 있다. 자신의 인생 경험, 가치관, 태도에 관한 질문을 제기할 때 소크라테스식 대화법을 사용하는 것은 성찰을 불러 일으키는 유용한 방법이다. 마지막 순간까지도 의미의 추구를 위한 지침은 세 가지 범주의 과제 또는 행동, 사랑과 아름다움의 경험 및 변화될 수 없는 운명에도 불구하고 선택된 태도들에서 찾을 수 있다. 자기 초월, 또는 다른 사람들의 이익을 위해 자아를 벗어나는 것은 삶에 의미를 부여할 수 있다. 고난에는 의미가 없지만 고난에도 불구하고 의미를 찾을 수 있다. 의미 중심의 치료 프로토콜의 적용이라는 새로 급성장하는 연구는 영적안녕과 삶의 의미 및 목적에 대한 인식을 향상시키는 데 유망하다.
