장애물 없는 생활환경(BF) 인증제도 계단 난간 높이 산정기준 개선안 (Improvement plan for the standard for calculating the height of the stair railing for Barrier Free (BF) certification system)

  • Among the Barrier Free (BF) certification evaluation items for public facilities, at which position the standard for the effective height of the stair railing handle should be calculated is not clearly determined. Because of this, not only the evaluation standards of the certification authority and the evaluation committee are different, but disputes are occurring between the ordering organization, the design company, and the construction company. Therefore, the stair railing installation standard laws for public facilities were analyzed and through a case study of institutions that obtained the BF certification, problems were analyzed. The results of problem analysis reveal the following. 1) The standards of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport were different. 2) The effective height calculation standard was ambiguous, and disputes occurred frequently. To solve this problem, we proposed improvement plans for calculating the height of the stair railing that can comply with laws while ensuring safety.

  • 근대화의 발전과 함께 성장해온 서울의 대중교통의 인프라는 국내외로 성공적인 평가를 받고 있으며 현재 가장 높은 수송 분담률을 가지고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 서비스 고도화 단계에 진입한 서울시의 대중교통은 아직도 부족한 부분이 많으며 특히 교통약자에 대한 이동성이 보장되지 않고 있다. 고령화 및 다문화 등의 사회적 변화에 맞춰 특정 계층의 대중교통 이용에 지원이 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 대중교통의 현황 및 이용자의 현황을 살펴보고 고령자 및 외국인을 주 조사 대상으로 선정하여 관찰조사를 진행하고 행태를 분석하였다. 또한 심층 인터뷰를 통해 대중교통 서비스 상세한 평가를 진행하여 대중교통수단과 이용단계 별 불편요소를 발굴하였다. 이를 토대로 아이디어 워크숍을 통해 개선요소를 정의하고 컨셉 디자인을 하여 향후 대중교통에 적용할 수 있는 개선안을 제시하여 추후 대중교통 서비스를 개선하는데 일조하고자 하였다.

공공발주자의 설계단계 BIM 발주업무 지원을 위한 가이드 개발 연구 (Development of a Project Design Stage BIM Guide for Project Owners)

  • Although BIM has been recognized as one of the main streams that advance the construction industry worldwide, it is difficult to ensure the quality of BIM data due to the problems such as internal errors of BIM tools and lack of guidelines that enhance design quality. Such problems cause designers, constructors, and project owners to hesitate applying it to their business. The main objective of this research is to develop a BIM guide for public project owners that is to be usable at the design phase of the public projects. To meet the objective, the study invited 10 BIM experts from Korean construction industry and operated workshops with focus group interview methodology. As well, a number of BIM guidelines from the BIM advanced countries were reviewed to identify valuable contents for the guide. There are four main parts in the guide developed: BIM design procurement process guide, Request for Proposal development guide for BIM design, BIM execution plan development and evaluation guide, and BIM output and deliverables review and evaluation guide.

  • Characterization of particle behavior is becoming more important in performance evaluation of water treatment system as well as in operation of the system because conventional parameter, turbidity has lack of explaining ability on small sized microorganisms such like Cryptosporidium etc. Accordingly, particle counter has been introduced in evaluation and operation of the treatment system. However researches on the relationship between turbidity, particle count and/or different sand/anthracite sizes have not been concurrent. Therefore in this study, the relationship was investigated to improve performance evaluation of sand filter so as to help choosing sand/anthracite effective size as a design parameter of water treatment facility. According to the results, too small or too large effective size media filter reached to turbidity limit(0.1 NTU)earlier. However, because shallow sand layer may cause early breakthrough, the depth of sand layer should be provided enough in order to compromise water quality and productivity.

공공서비스로서 도시공원녹지평가 (An Evaluation of Parks as Public Services)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시민들에 의해 공공서비스의 관점에서 설정된 주요 항목으로 도시공원녹지를 평가하는데 있다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 대전광역시를 대상으로 5개구 80개동으로부터 인구비례로 설문조사하였다. 평가 결과, 46개 평가항목은 평균 2.46~3.54사이에 분포하고 있었으며, 공공서비스로서 주민에게 제공된 부분보다는 대전광역시의 지리적, 자연적 환경에 관한 변수가 높은 평가를 받아 도시공원녹지에 대해 전체적인 향상이 필요하다고 보여진다. 낮은 평가를 받은 항목은 '주민참여(평균 2.46)', '불편불만건의(평균 2.54)', '주민배려-장애인(평균 2.55)', '공원 녹지 내 다양한 이용프로그램(평균 2.55)', '건의사항의 반영(평균 2.61)'으로 나타나 주민과 함께 계획하고 주민의 의견을 적극 반영하는 과정이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 또 주민의 주관적 특성에 따라 평가의 차이가 있었으며, 주관적 특성이 만족에 미치는 영향이 크게 나타났다. 따라서 도시공원녹지를 공공서비스적 관점에서 평가함은 새로운 시각이면서 필요한 관점이다. 이것은 그동안 물리적 환경에 대한 만족도 연구만으로는 얻기 어려운 공급결정자, 주민의견반영, 정보이용 등에 대해 접근할 수 있었고, 공급결정자가 만족도에 영향을 준다는 점에서 더욱 공공서비스적 관점에서의 접근이 필요하다. 이러한 주요 인자들에 대한 적극적 반영을 통하여 도시공원과 녹지에 대한 시민들의 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 공무원들의 역할은 증대되어질 것이다.

비대칭키 암호 알고리즘을 고속으로 수행하는 자바카드 구현 및 성능 평가 (Design of JavaCard with enhanced Public Key Cryptograhy and Its performance Evaluation)

  • In this paper, we present the development of a JavaCard for public key crypto algorithms and its performance evaluation. To make a high performance for the public key crypto algorithm such as RSA and ECC on a JavaCard, we have implemented a crypto coprocessor in hardware and ported it to the card operating system and virtual machine environments. The performance of the public key crypto algorithms on the JavaCard shows that our JavaCard is suitable for If card applications which needs high performance and high level of security.

  • 현대 사회에서 사람들은 서로의 공간을 공유하면서 환경 속에서 살아가며 안전을 위해 각자의 공간을 확보하고 있다. 본 연구는 환경디자인을 통해 범죄로부터 시민의 안전을 확보하는 CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 공공 디자인의 개념에 대한 이해를 통해 탐색이 가능한 공공 공간 디자인을 연구한다. 본 연구를 통해 공공 디자인의 개념과 사례에 대한 다양한 사례 연구를 통하여 CPTED의 진행 기준을 정립하였다. 본 연구는 최종 추출된 키워드로 각 성공 사례의 결과를 분석하고, 최종 10개의 키워드 도출을 통해 범죄 예방을 위한 세 가지 디자인 솔루션을 제안하였다. 각 설계 솔루션은 본 프로젝트에 참여한 25명의 CPTED 연구자가 리커트의 5점 척도로 평가 하였으며, 평가의 결과에 따라 향후 보다 안전하고 완성된 형태의 CPTED를 활용한 디자인 결과물을 제안하고자 한다.

  • The quality of performance evaluation on engineering consultants that provide design-related technical services is difficult to be measured, and only a handful of papers discussed the quality during the design stage. Although design cost is relatively far less than construction cost for a project, the decisions made in the design phase have a significant impact on the final products of the project, especially for large public construction projects. Therefore, this research focuses on reviewing and then establishing a performance evaluation framework for the consulting firms that execute detailed design and provide technical services for the Taipei Rapid Transit Systems (TRTS). By interviewing experts, this study first established a set of indicators to evaluate these firms' performance. Then, those indicators were incorporated into the four aspects of balanced scorecard (BSC) to establish the architecture of the evaluation mechanism. The weight of each indicator was calculated by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) from a survey conducted among experts. The results showed that the top-three indicators were quantity take-off, functions conformity, and budgeting. The framework of performance evaluation established by this study can be applied to measure service performance during the design stage. It not only facilitates the monitoring of consulting firms, but also helps to reduce unnecessary change orders and disputes during the construction stage.

Co-creation 실행 단계에 따른 Value Co-creation 유형 : 지역브랜드를 중심으로 (Value Co-creation Types according to Co-creation Execution Phase : Focusing on Regional Brand)

  • Regional brands are recognized for their importance as one of the local public relations policies, but only the methods promoted by local government officials and outside experts are revealing limitations in self-reliance and sustainability. In order for a regional brand to succeed, it is necessary to develop and manage a brand that fits the characteristics of the region together with various stakeholders including residents. In this study, it was confirmed that regional brand evaluation indicators may vary depending on the stage of co-creation in the design process for regional brand development, and the type of value co-creation was determined through a classification method using the results of the evaluation index. According to the results of the study, the type of value co-creation that fits the local situation and characteristics can be derived by adjusting the stage of co-creation execution in the design process.

  • The orders of Design-Build Delivery System (DBDS) in a large and public construction project have been increasing. Single Source Responsibility (SSR) for design and construction, which contributes to quality improvement of design and construction, has been performed. The DBDS performs SSR for design and construction, but, it has not maximized effect because of the dissatisfied alternative analysis procedures which are based on constructability evaluation and the information system in the design step. In this research, Constructability Evaluation Factors (CEFs) that must be evaluated, investigated, and reflected in the basic design step for design-build projects. The CEF proposed and the business process of each conductor has been systematized. To propose constructability evaluation factors, first classify drawing information by the constructability evaluation sphere. CEFs must be proposed to evaluate factors according to interference among work items. Second, applicable CEFs must be classified by preference ranking and weight. Third, the values of constructability factors in accordance with building elements and work items, need to be calculated. Finally, the CEFs proposal will support rational decision making, design cost reduction, and quality improvement through the values for constructability of building elements and work items.
