  • Objectives As awareness of the public about Korean medicine health care and the social demand about improvement for quality of health care service is constantly rising, the quality evaluation of Korean medicine health care service is needed to improve the quality. Through trial of Delphi method, we tried to set the priority in short, medium, long term among the disease which is the subject of quality assessment. Methods Carrying out the delphi survey to 50 experts of korean medicine who were recommended by the 41 member societies of Korean medicine and related organizations, we selected final candidates for quality assessment. It is composed with total 2 rounds, and we investigated the priority in three aspects; the importance of the matter, possibility quality assessment, potential about if there's any chance of improvement. Results By delphi method, we set the priority of quality assessment. Base on the result of the second round, we classified importance of the questions into above average, average, below average, and categorized items as short, medium, long term according on the final priority. We classified of musculoskeletal diseases and diseases of connective tissues and musculoskeletal injury as short term and cerebrovascular disease and disease of nerve system and malignant neoplasm as medium term, disease of digestive organs and diseases, symptoms and abnormal findings in clinical field or inspections which are not categorized as long term. Conclusions We set the subjects of quality assessment by delphi survey by experts, and classified into short, medium, long term. Further research is necessary for execution the Quality Assessment to each of the candidate. • Conventional bus system architectures are composed of several components such as master, arbiter, decoder and slave modules. The arbiter plays a role in bus arbitration according to the selected arbitration method, since several masters cannot use the bus concurrently. Typical priority strategies used in high performance arbiters include static priority, round robin, TDMA and lottery. Typical arbitration algorithms always consider the bus priority primarily, while the bus utilization is always ignored. In this paper, we propose an arbitration method using bus utilization for the operating block of each master. We verify the performance compared with the other arbitration methods through the TLM(Transaction Level Model). Based on the performance verification, the conventional fixed priority and round-robin arbitration methods cannot set the bus utilization. Whereas, in the case of the conventional TDMA and lottery arbitration methods, more than 100,000 cycles of bus utilization can be set by the user, exhibiting differences of actual bus utilization up to 50% and 70%, respectively. On the other hand, we confirm that for the proposed arbitration method, the matched bus utilization set by the user was above 99% using approximately 1,000 cycles.

  • This study is designed to assess the priority order of the chemicals to cause to generate occupational diseases in order to understand the fundamental data required for the preparation of health protective measure for the workers dealing with chemicals. The 41 types of 51 ones of chemicals to cause to generate the national occupational diseases were selected as the study objects by understanding their domestic use or not, and their occupational diseases' occurrence or not among 110,608 types of domestic and overseas chemicals. To assess their priority order the sum of scores was acquired by understanding the actually classified condition based on a perfect score of physical riskiness(90points) and health toxicity(92points) as a classification standard by GHS, the priority order on GHS riskiness assessment, GHS toxicity assessment, GHS toxic xriskiness assessment(sum of riskiness plus toxicity) was assessed by multiplying each result by each weight of occupational disease's occurrence. The high ranking 5 items of chemicals for GHS riskiness assessment were turned out to be urethane, copper, chlorine, manganese, and thiomersal by order. Besides as a result of GHS toxicity assessment the top fives were assessed to be aluminum, iron oxide, manganese, copper, and cadium(Metal) by order. On the other hand, GHS toxicity riskiness assessment showed that the top fives were assessed to be copper, urethane, iron oxide, chlorine and phenanthrene by order. As there is no material or many uncertain details for physical riskiness or health toxicity by GHS classification though such materials caused to generate the national occupational diseases, it is very urgent to prepare its countermeasure based on the forementioned in order to protect the workers handling or being exposed to chemicals from health.

  • When a multicast video conference system utilizes RTP (Real Time Protocol) and RTCP (Real Time Control Protocol), the loss rate and the synchronization of transfer in RTCP affect the scalability of the system. The random delay technique introduced to resolve the problems is so simple that leads the network to meet some congestion in synchronizing feedback information when lots of people transfer the feedback information simultaneously, which reduces the scalability of system. In this paper, we propose a new feedback control algorithm that provides priority levels with the RTCP packet, which cuts down the feedback delay and increases the scalability. The criteria of providing priority Based on the decided priority level, Agent forced the session participants to provide much more RTCP packets, positively controlled, and the possible bandwidth can be measured. The simulation on this technique decreases the delay, and the feedback messages are equally distributed on a given time period.

  • In this paper, the performances of bandwidth allocation strategies for wideband ISDN have been studied through the computer simulation. In general, the performance of multichannel bandwidth allocation method is superior to that of single channel bandwidth allocation method with respect to the throughtput, delay and blocking probability. Also, when the FIFO service scheme is used, it is shown that the throughput, delay characteristics and blocking probability for each traffic are almost similar. On the other hand, the priority service scheme being used, the performances of traffic with high priority are much better than that of traffic with low priority in the view of throughput, delay and blocking probability. Finally, for the FIFO and priority service disciplines, it can be seen that the multichannel bandwidth allocation method is more suitable than the single channel bandwidth allocation strategy in the case of serving various traffic.

  • This review was performed to outline the food ethics to the professionals in the field of food science and industries. Food ethics is the ethics or ethical consideration concerning food; while, the keywords of food ethics are a life, happiness and the wisdom. The ultimate goal as well as the first principle of food ethics is a sustainable living of human race. In order to reach the goal a coexistence of humans and nature, coexistence of humans and humans, and the fulfillment of essential requirements of a food are needed. The needs yield six categorical imperatives such as a respect for life, preservation of nature, distributive justice without deception or fakes, prior consideration of consumer, moderation and balance neither overs nor shorts, and the assurance of safety. The core principles corresponding to the categorical imperatives include a respect for life, environmental preservation, justice, priority of consumer, dynamic equilibrium, and the priority of safety. The core principles approach is a simple, clear, and practical method in solving ethical issues. The code of food ethics is also based on the core principles.
