공동주택 공사에서의 건축 외관용 PC 활용에 따른 생산성 향상 분석 (Verification of the Use of Architectural PC for Improving the productivity in an Apartment Housing Project)

  • 최근 국내 건설 산업에서 생산성과 건설공기 측면에서 문제점이 드러나고 있으며 또한, 국내 건설 산업의 생산성과 공기 경쟁력이 선진국에 비해 매우 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 여기에 주5일 근무제가 시행된다면 문제는 더 심각해진다. 또한, 현재 입법 예고된 후분양제도가 실행된다면 건설사 입장에서는 공기 단축을 위한 생산성 향상이 건설업의 생사가 달린 일이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 생산성 향상을 위한 방안으로 PC의 한 종류인 건축 외관용 PC를 제시하고, 건축 외관용 PC를 사용하는 방안을 기존의 공법과 비교를 통해 생산성이 향상 되는가를 분석하고자 한다.

기계적 학습의 알고리즘을 이용하여 아파트 공사에서 반복 공정의 효과 비교에 관한 연구 (Identifying the Effects of Repeated Tasks in an Apartment Construction Project Using Machine Learning Algorithm)

  • Learning effect is an observation that the more times a task is performed, the less time is required to produce the same amount of outcomes. The construction industry heavily relies on repeated tasks where the learning effect is an important measure to be used. However, most construction durations are calculated and applied in real projects without considering the learning effects in each of the repeated activities. This paper applied the learning effect to the repeated activities in a small sized apartment construction project. The result showed that there was about 10 percent of difference in duration (one approach of the total duration with learning effects in 41 days while the other without learning effect in 36.5 days). To make the comparison between the two approaches, a large number of BIM based computer simulations were generated and useful patterns were recognized using machine learning algorithm named Decision Tree (See5). Machine learning is a data-driven approach for pattern recognition based on observational evidence.

  • The finish works of construction projects comprises approximately 40% of the total construction duration. Thus, the management of finish works have as big as impacts on total project duration as the earthworks, foundation and structure works. Process interference management is considered one of the most important issues dealt during finish works. However, it was investigated that effective management systems have yet not been applied for practical use. Accordingly, this paper suggests a mobile technology based finish works management system that mainly focuses on preventing process interference occurred due to ineffective communication between general and sub-contractors.

  • The constructability of formwork has a significantly influence on the duration and cost in tall building construction. However, current installation and dismantling process are conducted with heuristic approaches due to the absence of reasonable constructability review method. This study proposes a new method to review the constructability of formwork by utilizing 3D printing technology. It is expected that the suggested review method could reduce formwork duration and cost with subjective, but rational manner.

  • Rapidly expanding population in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a massive impact to put pressure on the shortage of housing and existing infrastructure. With average population growth rate of 1,9% yearly, the population in Saudi Arabia is projected to increase from 31 million in 2015 to 37 million in 2025. According to the housing ministry, Saudi Arabia needs to provide 3.3 million units to meet the demand in 2025, which is about 300,000 unit a year. In the past 40 years, using the conventional construction method, the Saudi construction industry was only able to build about 150,000 units per year. To meet the demand gap for the housing shortage, a new approach and innovation in construction methods are needed. Industrialized construction as an approach in construction methods has been studied and implemented in some countries that experienced similar corncerns. Industrialized construction can be defined as the implementation of manufacturing methods to construction-related activities to improve quality, reduce cost and project duration. Compared to the conventional construction method, prefabrication as industrialized construction methods has reduced construction labor on-site by 9.5%, construction project duration by 20%, and construction waste by 56%. It improves the quality, durability and cost saving not only for construction project owners, but also construction contractors. This paper discusses the possibility of 'industrialization' of building system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a solution for the housing shortage. It is an initial part of a study aims to develop a framework to develop industrialized building system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The is paper based on extensive literature review and case studies.

  • This paper presents the development of Artificial Neural Network models for forecasting the cost and contract duration of school reconstruction projects to assist the planners' decision-making in the early stage of the projects. 132 schools reconstruction projects in central Taiwan, which received the most serious damage from the Chi-Chi Earthquake, were collected. The developed Artificial Neural Network prediction models demonstrate good prediction abilities with average error rates under 10% for school reconstruction projects. The analytical results indicate that the Artificial Neural Network model with back-propagation learning is a feasible method to produce accurate prediction results to assist planners' decision-making process.

  • In this paper, I have approached the problem of scheduling that can be reasonably cost down and duration down in the tenement house by using PERT/CPM technics. The tenement house of 'M' construction company consistute 78 element workings in total. I made out the net-work scheduling through 78 element workings, after calculating by computer, G-COS 101, I reduced the duration and cost by MCX, and then enforced from the least cost slope to six times. Resulty, I attained PERT/CPM scheduling for construction scheduling ; a) Make Possible the effectiveness budgeting control b) How the scientific materials c) Make possible the reasonably decision making d) Strengthen the material control by relevance of element workings e) Make possible the duration down through the least cost.

  • The nuclear power plant(NPP) construction is a mammoth project, which requires a huge construction budget and the long construction duration of about 7 years. Recently there is a trend to shorten the construction period, to save the construction cost and to ensure the competitiveness through adopting the open top construction method. In this method, the major equipment are moved into the building through its top, and the internal works of the reactor building are being in process without installation of a dome roof.

  • 공간의 분할이 많은 건축공사에서는 반복적 특성으로 인해 공정계획상에 다수의 대안이 존재한다. 공사기간은 각 액티비티의 기간뿐 아니라 반복되는 액티비티의 배열방법에 의해서도 많은 영향을 받는다. 본 연구는 각 액티비티에 적정한 선행 액티비티를 할당함으로써 여유시간을 최소화하는 공정계획기법을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 진행되었다. Line of Balance 기법을 기본으로 하는 기존연구와는 달리 본 연구에서는 AON방식의 네트워크 기법을 기본으로 하여 공간과 자원의 두 축 사이에 액티비티를 배열하였다. 각 액티비티별로 자원과 공간의 양방향으로 가장 적절한 선행 액티비티를 검색하여 여유시간을 최소화한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 액티비티 배열방법을 공동주택공사 건설공사를 대상으로 적용한 결과, 액티비티 배열을 달리함에 따라서 다수의 대안이 존재함을 확인할 수 있었으며 그중 적정대안을 찾아낼 수 있었다. 본 기법은 공동주택공사와 같은 다수의 유사공간으로 구성된 건설공사의 공정 계획에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

단시간강우의 수문학적 특성에 따른 시간분포 분석 (An Analysis of the Temporal Pattern according to Hydrologic Characteristics of Short-Duration Rainfall)

  • 본 연구에서는 강우의 수문학적 특성을 고려하여 단시간강우의 시간분포를 분석하고, Huff의 무차원 누가곡선을 제시하였으며, 강우의 수문학적 특성은 지속기간, 강우의 발생원인(장마, 태풍, 집중호우, 전선형강우), 구간변화 등으로 분류하였다. 본 연구의 수행으로 인해 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내 도시지역의 단시간 강우의 최대강우강도는 전방위구간에서 발생할 확률이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 둘째, 강우발생원인별 분류에서도 전반적으로 전방위구간에서 최대강우강도가 발생하였으나 태풍의 경우에는 후방위구간에서 최대강우강도가 발생하였다. 셋째, Huff의 6구간 분석에서는 동일한 위치에 해당되는 제2구간에서 우세하였다. 넷째, 전기간 강우자료를 이용한 기존 연구들의 무차원 누가곡선 및 특성변수와의 비교를 실시하여, 수문학적 특성에 따라 무차원 누가곡선의 위치 및 특성변수의 값에서 차이가 발생한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
