Hsp90 shows great promise as a therapeutic target due to its potential to disable multiple signaling pathways simultaneously. In this study, we discovered that a natural product, butein moderately inhibited the growth of drug-resistant cancer cells (A2780cis and H1975), and brought about the degradation of oncogenic Hsp90 client proteins. The study demonstrated that butein would be a therapeutic lead to circumvent drug-resistance in cancer chemotherapy. The structure-based screening, synthesis, and biological evaluation of butein are described herein.

Recently a rolling stock has been requiring more convenience facilities for passenger as well as satisfied the basic functions. The convenience facilities design take into consideration safety factor, convenience and easy accessible for disable passenger. In a point of view, convenience facilities should be considered and designed as well as related safety. This paper describes points to be considered on design with related to convenience facilities and safety factor of Diesel Multiple Unit for Intercity through the IRISH DMU.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference of dietary habits between normal and handicapped children. This study was performed with 166 normal children and 154 handicapped children in Incheon area. There was very significant differences of dietary habits between normal and handicapped children, but there was no significant difference in disable type.

주소 결정 프로토콜, ARP(Address Resolution Protocol)는 네트워크의 논리 주소(IP)로부터 물리 주소(MAC)를 찾아내는 프로토콜로 많은 네트워크에 사용되고 있다. 그러나 ARP는 메시지 내용의 진위를 검증할 수 있는 수단이 없기 때문에, 이를 이용한 공격이 많이 이루어지고 있다. 많은 연구자들이 ARP의 안전성을 보완하는 많은 기술들을 제안하였지만, 대부분은 ARP의 안전성을 향상하는 대신에 네트워크의 성능을 희생하거나 많은 구현 비용을 요구한다. 이 논문에서는 ARP 기반의 공격을 무력화하는 AAR(Address Auto-Resolution, 주소 자동 결정) 네트워크를 제안한다. AAR에서는 기존의 ARP 테이블을 사용하지 않는 것이 아니라 요청(request), 응답(reply) 등 기본적인 ARP 메시지를 사용하지 않으며, MAC 주소를 IP 주소로부터 유도할 수 있도록 설계하여 ARP 테이블을 사전지식(IP, MAC 주소의 쌍) 없이 정적으로 관리할 수 있게 한다. 이 시스템은 기본적인 ARP 메시지 기능을 차단하므로 ARP 기반의 공격을 무력화할 수 있는 동시에 네트워크 트래픽을 절약하는 효과도 있다.

As our society is becoming an aging society, there is an increasing number of the elderly. Recently, mobility handicapped like the elderly and the disable take part in many social activities. It is required public transportation systems for them. Already, the traffic policy for mobility handicapped including pregnant woman and child, has been established in many cities. Particularly, the convenience of mobility for the handicapped in the urban rail stations is depend on a pedestrian facilities like escalators and elevators. The pedestrian facilities have been built in urban rail stations without rules for mobility handicapped. To make the more convenient and more safe stations, the more study about mobility handicapped and non-mobility handicapped is needed. This paper preferentially discusses the pedestrian facilities with other convenience facilities in urban rail stations. This paper explains also their preference, relative satisfaction and importance for the convenience facilities including the a pedestrian facilities in urban rail stations and makes clear the difference between both groups.

Because of the industrialization, the number of acquired handicapped people and chronic disable people is increasing. This phenomenon takes an increasing interest in the interior and environment of a lobby at the rehabilitation's hospitals. This study represents the basic information of an efficient use of spaces in the rehabilitation's hospitals through a research into the characteristics of universal designs in the rehabilitation's hospital lobbies from six hospitals which are located in Seoul and Kyung-gi area. According to the study result, although the handicapped people are accessible to the lobbies, the considerations of the hospital's facilities and their abilities are still insufficient.

As society and culture becomes complicated and diverse, so do the ensuing problems. The symptoms from the stress there was mainly focused on the adult group, however, now, they are shown in children. So the play therapy attracts attention as a way to cure stress. This study is intend to analysis an environment of play therapy space which would play an active role during treatment through the understanding of children's playing behavior. Disable children's playing therapy and pattern should be considered in the playing environmental design, and their feelings also need to be considered. The cozy and relaxed environment is important to children, so that they can have a natural interaction with the environment during the therapies. Output the factor of environment for play therapy and suggest the space of play therapy which fit on it.

The hardening model based on the dislocation mechanics is employed to study the experimentally observed high tensile elongations of NiAl along the [110] orientation at intermediate temperatures. In the hardening model proposed, a mobility of dislocation is assumed to be restricted to glide through the slip plane by forest dislocation and thermally activated cross-slip event. Overall deformation behavior of NiAl was greatly influenced by temperature-dependent dislocation mobility that both experimental and simulated yield stresses decreased as temperature increased. The results of simulation showed anomalous hardening behaviors analogous to those of experiment at certain circumstances. This behavior occurred due to the hardening contributions generated by cross-slip events that disable the dislocation motion in the primary slip systems. By comparing simulation results with experiments, it is confirmed that the proposed hardening model can represent anomalous tensile elongations due to the hardening by forest dislocations and cross-slip events.

The conventional way to implement a bidirectional converter with boost/buck has been to use two general purpose PWM ICs with a single supply voltage. In this case, when one direction mode is in operation, the other is disabled and the output of the error amplifier of the disabled IC may be saturated to a maximum value or zero. Therefore, during mode transition, a circuit which can disable the switching operation for a certain time interval is required making it impossible to get a seamless transition. In this paper, the limitations of the conventional 42V/14V bi-directional DC/DC converter implemented with general current mode PWM ICs with a single supply voltage are reviewed and a new current mode PWM controller circuit with a dual voltage system is proposed. The validity of the proposed circuit is investigated through simulation. and experiments.

Astronomical outreach activities for the general public who are unfamiliar to astronomy is a challenging task. It requires creative thinking to solve the problem. The amateur astronomical clubs in a number of cities in Indonesia routinely schedule observations at public parks. The interaction between these clubs and formal education institutions is established by face to face interaction and assisted by social media. The physics teachers who took astronomy courses in university are potential resources to enlarge the outreach scope by creating astronomical clubs as an extracurricular activity. Recent progressive trends in astronomy dissemination for the disabled are also a great opportunity to assist the disabled in experiencing hands-on activities based on formal and informal education.
