  • In this paper, we consider applying the bootstrap method to the median test procedures for right censored data. For doing this, we show that the median test statistics can be represented by the differences of two sampler medians. Then we review to the re-sampling methods for censored dta and propose the test procedures under the location translation assumption and Behrens-Fisher problem. Also we compare our procedures with other re-sampling method, which is so-called permutation test through an example. Finally we show the validity of bootstrap median test procedure in the appendix.

  • Lane Keeping Assistance System(LKAS) is a kind of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems(ADAS) which are developed to automate/ adapt/ enhance vehicle systems for safety and better driving. The main system function of LKAS is to support the driver in keeping the vehicle within the current lane. LKAS acquires information on the position of the vehicle within the lane and, when required, sends commands to actuators to influence the lateral movement of the vehicle. Recently, the vehicles equipped with LKAS are commercially available in a few vehicle-advanced countries and the installation of LKAS increases for safety enhancement. The test procedures for LKAS evaluations are being discussed and developed in international committees such as ISO(the International Organization for Standardization). In Korea, the evaluations of LKAS for vehicle safety are planned to be introduced in 2016 KNCAP(Korean New Car Assessment Program). Therefore, the test procedures of LKAS suitable for domestic road and traffic conditions, which accommodate international standards, should be developed. In this paper, some bullet points of the test procedures for LKAS are discussed by extensive researches of previous documents and reports, which are released in public in regard to lateral test procedures including LKAS and Lane Departure Warning System(LDWS). Later, it can be helpful to make a draft considering domestic traffic situations for test procedures of LKAS.

  • This paper introduces statistical test principles, statistical procedures and tests for exponential distribution. This paper also shows compliance test plans for success ratio and constant failure rate, and goodness-of-fit tests for Weibull distribution. Moreover, this paper presents procedures for comparision of two constant failure rates, and dependability of products containing reused parts.

  • In genetic association studies with high-dimensional genomic data, multiple group testing procedures are often required in order to identify disease/trait-related genes or genetic regions, where multiple genetic sites or variants are located within the same gene or genetic region. However, statistical testing procedures based on an individual test suffer from multiple testing issues such as the control of family-wise error rate and dependent tests. Moreover, detecting only a few of genes associated with a phenotype outcome among tens of thousands of genes is of main interest in genetic association studies. In this reason regularization procedures, where a phenotype outcome regresses on all genomic markers and then regression coefficients are estimated based on a penalized likelihood, have been considered as a good alternative approach to analysis of high-dimensional genomic data. But, selection performance of regularization procedures has been rarely compared with that of statistical group testing procedures. In this article, we performed extensive simulation studies where commonly used group testing procedures such as principal component analysis, Hotelling's $T^2$ test, and permutation test are compared with group lasso (least absolute selection and shrinkage operator) in terms of true positive selection. Also, we applied all methods considered in simulation studies to identify genes associated with ovarian cancer from over 20,000 genetic sites generated from Illumina Infinium HumanMethylation27K Beadchip. We found a big discrepancy of selected genes between multiple group testing procedures and group lasso.

  • HLA (High Level Architecture) is the object, time, and interface standard that proposed for distribution simulation in the US Department of Defense. The HLA is defined by three components: Rules, the HLA Interface Specification, and the Object Model Template (OMT). The RTI (Run-Time Infrastructure) software implements the interface specification. It provides services to simulation applications. To test whether a RTI software is suitable for the standard and all service was implemented is performed through two phases of processes proposed by DMSO. In this paper, we implement Level One Test Procedures of DMSO and apply to NetCust's RTI software. The experimental results are discussed.

  • In recent years, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) were actively developed in various fields. In development process of UAVs, flight test is performed to ensure that minimum safety requirements and technical requirements are met. By constructing flight test infrastructure such as takeoff and landing facilities, operation procedure, and equipments, flight test can be performed effectively. In this paper, operation procedures of civil UAV's flight test are proposed. The procedures proposed are composed by two main steps: first, planning and permitting procedure of flight test. Secondly, execution and control procedure of flight test.

  • Recently, the virtual test techniques using computer simulation play an important part in the vehicle development procedures in order to reduce the development time and cost by replacing the physical prototypes of the vehicle components or systems with the virtual prototypes. In this paper, virtual durability test procedures for the vehicle suspension module have been developed. Virtual durability test consists of dynamic simulation computing load history of suspension components, fatigue analysis computing the life of components. A vehicle suspension module for dynamic simulation are developed and validated by comparison with the measured data obtained from the field vehicle test. And on the basis of the validated vehicle suspension model, fatigue analysis has been performed for the virtual durability design of the suspension components.

  • To identify whether the sequence of observations follows a chain dependent process and whether the chain dependent or repeated observations follow stationary process or not, alternative procedures are suggested in this paper. These test procedures are formulated on the basis of logistic regression model under the likelihood ratio test criterion and applied to the daily rainfall occurrence data of Bangladesh for selected stations. These test procedures indicate that the daily rainfall occurrences follow a chain dependent process, and the different types of transition probabilities and overall transition probabilities of Markov chain for the occurrences of rainfall follow a stationary process in the Mymensingh and Rajshahi areas, and non-stationary process in the Chittagong, Faridpur and Satkhira areas.
