Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate changes in public health-related perceptions of residents of Gangwon province after the outbreak of Coronavirus disease-19(COVID-19) of the public. Methods: We performed paired T-test analysis to measure the change in public health-related perceptions before and after COVID-19. We also utilized generalized estimating equations to identify demographic factors correlated with public health-related perceptions. Results: The public perceived public health as 'All citizens can use medical care and protect/promote health.' The concept was the most popular, from 94.3% in 2019 to 95.5% in 2020. In addition, after COVID-19, residents of Gangwon province's satisfaction with medical services increased, but the overall level was not high. Among the eight essential healthcare needs after COVID-19, cardiovascular disease and injury services have emerged as preferred services. However, by sociodemographic factors, distinctive responses were detected. Conclusions: Through COVID-19, Gangwon residents' awareness of the public's health rights has increased. Those living in vulnerable areas or with unmet medical care, supported strengthening public health care. In addition, although medical satisfaction has increased, it is not satisfied, so listening to the voices of the population group with low satisfaction is essential. Lastly, since the necessity of essential health care may change due to specific events, the local government needs to plan health projects reflecting the needs of residents. Therefore, when designing the public health care strategy in Gangwon province, the local government should consider not only political factors but also environmental factors, demographic and conceptual factors.

Ships operated at sea for a long time are subjected to various kinds of loads, which may cause various types of damage. Such damages will eventually reduce the strength of hull structures. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate and evaluate the residual strength and remaining fatigue life of aging ships in order to secure structural safety, establish a reasonable maintenance plan, and make a judgment of life extension. For this purpose, the corrosion damage and local denting damage should be measured, fatigue damage estimation should be performed, and material properties of aged steel should be identified. For this study, in order to investigate the mechanical properties of aged steel, steel plates were obtained from a naval ship that reached the end of her life span. The specimens were manufactured from the obtained steel plates, and static and dynamic tensile tests, fatigue tests, and metallographic tests were performed. The mechanical properties obtained from the aged steel plates were compared with those of new steel plates to quantify the aging effect on the mechanical properties of marine steel materials.

Efforts by each country to solve the climate change problem continue, and the transition to eco-friendly fuels is a task for mankind to continue. Recently, Jeju Island, where renewable energy resources are relatively abundant, is preparing to demonstrate the technology to produce green hydrogen linked to renewable energy and this study aims to introduce and apply polymer electrolyte water electrolysis devices of advanced foreign companies after comparing domestic and foreign technologies. This study aims to solve domestic safety regulations for water electrolysis devices manufactured overseas and system introduction process and evaluation method of core components.

The purpose of this study is to develop a discussion-centered teaching and learning model for nurturing creative and convergence talents. Regarding the research method, a draft model on discussion-centered teaching and learning was devised, and the model was completed through expert validation. The final draft was revised and supplemented by verifying how valid the model was when applied in class by using the derived final draft. Compared with the draft on discussion-centered teaching and learning model, the final model focused on text-reading emphasis, methods of questioning, and question generation strategies, excluding jigsaw discussions. The discussion-centered teaching and learning model developed in this study is expected to help instructors foster creative and convergence talents. Three suggestions have been provided to effectively apply this model to the field. First, an attitude of listening and respect is required during a discussion. Second, a plan should be considered on how to induce active participation of learners participating in the discussion. Third, the importance of managing discussion time was emphasized.

In this study, we attempted to examine the changing ways of thinking about lecture evaluation before and after COVID-19. To this end, decision tree analysis(Decision Tree) was used among data mining techniques based on lecture evaluation data for liberal arts and major classes conducted before and after COVID-19 for A university. According to the results of the study, liberal arts changed from 'method' to 'content', and 'knowledge improvement' was an important factor both before and after majors. In particular, 'Assignment' was found to be an important factor after the COVID-19 in common in the evaluation of lectures in the liberal arts department, which means that in the future, professors will be provided with appropriate teaching methods during class, interaction with students, and feedback on assignments or test results, indicates the need for competence. Based on the results of this study, a plan to improve communication with students and activation of blended learning was suggested.

This study was a descriptive research study to understand the job stress, job satisfaction, mental health, and grit level of clinical nurses, and the effect of these variables on grit. The subjects of this study were 145 clinical nurses working at C city general hospital, and data collection is from August 1, 2021 to August 31, 2021. As a result of the study, the effects of nurse grit on job satisfaction (β= .20, p= .008), mental health (β= .04, p<.001) and was sequential. The better the mental health, and the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the grit. The mental health and job satisfaction of clinical nurses were found to be influencing factors of grit. The influencing factors of the clinical nurse grit are mental health and job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to improve the grit of clinical nurses, it is necessary to prepare a plan to increase mental health and job satisfaction.

Purpose: By studying the effects of SNS advertising characteristics and SNS advertising music characteristics conducted by companies on advertising preference and advertising effects, we would like to suggest a plan for effective SNS advertising operation. Research design, data and methodology: In this study, a total of 483 surveys were collected for college student consumers in their 20s who had experience seeing advertisements on SNS, and 458 were used for the final analysis. In addition, the collected questionnaire data were analyzed using statistical programs SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0, and Sobel Test was performed through structural equation modeling and regression analysis. Results: Advertising preference, purchase, and recommendation intentions increased as consumers who saw advertisements on SNS perceived the characteristics of advertisements (information, entertainment, individuality, and interactivity). However, advertising preference was not formed by SNS advertising music characteristics (fun, information delivery, unconscious stimulation, and emotional homogeneity). In addition, the higher the perception of SNS advertising music characteristics (fun, information delivery, unconscious stimulation, and emotional homogeneity), the more advertising effects such as purchase and recommendation intentions were linked, and the higher the perception of SNS advertising music characteristics (fun, information delivery, unconscious stimulation, and emotional homogeneity), the more advertising effects such as purchase and recommendation intentions could be created. Finally, it was confirmed that advertising preference had a partial mediating effect between SNS advertising characteristics and advertising effects, and between SNS advertising music characteristics and advertising effects. Conclusions: Unlike previous studies that have investigated the causal relationship of advertising effects according to sub-factors such as SNS advertising characteristics and SNS advertising music characteristics, it is significant in that it analyzes the variables used in the study as secondary factors.

This study examines the response when the shock by underwater explosion is transmitted to a vertical launch air-vehicle mounted on a ship using modeling and simulation, and is about a plan to increase method shock resistance to protect the air vehicle. In order to obtain an accurate mathematical model, a dynamic characteristic test was performed on similar equipment, and through this, the mathematical model could be supplemented. And, using the supplemented mathematical model, the air vehicle simulated the shock response by the underwater explosion specified in the BV043 standard. As a result of the first simulation, it was confirmed that air vehicle could not withstand shock, and air vehicle protection method using a ring spring type shock absorber was studied. In addition to the basic shape of abosber, it was confirmed that the ring spring absober can be used to increase the impact resistance of a shipborn vertical launch vehicle by performing simulations for each case by changing deseign varables.

Purpose: This study aimed to develop a nursing clinical judgment scale (NCJS) and verify its validity and reliability in assessing the clinical judgment of nurses. Methods: A preliminary instrument of the NCJS comprising 38 items was first developed from attributes and indicators derived from a literature review and an in-depth/focus interview with 12 clinical nurses. The preliminary tool was finalized after 7 experts conducted a content validity test based on a data from a preliminary survey of 30 hospital nurses in Korea. Data were collected from 443 ward, intensive care unit, emergency room nurses who voluntarily participated in the survey through offline and online for the verification of the construct validity and reliability of the scale. Results: The final scale comprised 23 items scored on a 5-point Likert scale. Six factors - integrated data analysis, evaluation and reflection on interventions, evidence on interventions, collaboration among health professionals, patient-centered nursing, and collaboration among nurse colleagues - accounted for 64.9% of the total variance. Confirmatory factor analysis supported the fit of the measurement model, comprising six factors (root mean square error of approximation = .07, standardized root mean square residual = .04, comparative fit index = .90). Cronbach's α for all the items was .92. Conclusion: The NCJS is a valid and reliable tool that fully reflects the characteristics of clinical practice, and it can be used effectively to evaluate the clinical judgment of Korean nurses. Future research should reflect the variables influencing clinical judgment and develop an action plan to improve it.

This research aims to study and confirm enabling factors affecting the knowledge transfer and business process of community enterprise groups in Pattani province, Thailand. Key informants were community enterprise entrepreneurs; 30 people were selected purposively with criteria. This study used a mixed-methods approach and conducted semi-structured interviews to collect data. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis and classification, while quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Moreover, inferential statistics chi-square value, Phi Cramer's V, and multiple regression analysis with the R program for statistical computing were employed to analyze the relationship between the variables, test the research hypothesis, and create forecasting equations. The research results revealed that the overview of enabling factors had a very high relationship (Cramer's V=0.965). Regarding community enterprise, it was found that enabling factors related to the knowledge transfer and business process consisted of four factors: regulations and administrative guidelines, business plan, reinforcement, and brainstorming. Reinforcement was the factor with the highest degree of correlation (Cramer's V=0.873) and predictor of influence on the knowledge transfer and business process (R₂=0.670, p<0.05). This study's findings can lead to the developing of guidelines for promoting community enterprises properly and timely. These guidelines are expected to be used to develop knowledge about business models for community enterprises, which will help to improve their competency and competitiveness.
