  • This paper presents the method of ROL(Rate Of Loading) improvement for the Motor Operated Gate Valve operated in high differential pressure condition. ROL is one of the most important evaluation parameters for the valve ability. It is close to correlation in stem factor (SF) and appears different value by the differential pressure of fluid. ROL and SF are analyzed by the static test and dynamic test. The obtained result show that the modification of stem factor is very important factor for the ROL improvement. In order to obtain the same value of SF between static and dynamic test, stem and stem nut should be combined appropriately by the repetition test.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze theoretically suggested performance test and find out the actual conditions is math class at high schools and to suggest some devices for improvement for the various problems. To achieve this goal of study, I applied a performance test to the first graders of high school for one semester, and analyzed various phenomena which appeared during its practice. I made several questionnaire based on the materials of an academic seminar, "Several questions and devices for the improvement on mathematics performance test" And through the analysis, I pointed several problems of the performance test and proposed alternative plans. Several practical alternatives can be suggested for the problems appeared in the operation of performance test. The most important thing than any other technical solution in teachers′ diverse endeavor and enthusiastic research attitude to overcome the difficulties. Teachers′ spontaneousness is the foundation to enhance their own specialty and eradicate the propriety of the performance test.

The Effects of a Phonological Awareness Instruction with Phonetics on the Oral and Aural English Proficiency

  • This study explores the effects of phonological awareness instruction with phonetics on listening comprehension and speaking. For the test of measuring the improvement of listening comprehension, two nationwide listening comprehension tests were used for pre-test and post-test. To find out the improvement of speaking ability, students were required to take the Level-3 NEAT speaking tests. There was a notable correlation between phonological awareness instruction with phonetics and listening ability. Also a significant correlation between phonological awareness instruction with phonetics and speaking ability was found. The group with phonological awareness class with phonetics received higher scores in listening and speaking test than the group without phonological awareness class with phonetics in the post-test. This study implies that phonological awareness class with phonetics is helpful for the improvement of listening and speaking ability. With this research, we can also say that students' communicative competence increased.

  • The research for the improvement of the aptitude test system in the field of railroad is progressing actively in advanced countries. Our government is also promoting some systematic supplementation for railroad safety on the basis of the Railroad Safety Act. In this paper, we focus our attention on an improvement of the present aptitude test system which will lead to the improvement of the safety supervision of Korean railroad. For this purpose, we perform a comparative analysis of domestic and foreign aptitude test systems for train drivers. We provide useful information that is needed to derive desirable aptitude test systems.

  • This paper presents the method of Rate of Loading(ROL) improvement for the Motor Operated Gate Valve operating in high differential pressure condition. The character of ROL and Stem Factor is analyzed. Static test and dynamic test were performed and acquired the diagnosis signal for the valve closing stroke. The result of this study is the modification of stem factor is very important factor for the ROL improvement. In order to obtain the same value of dynamic test thread friction coefficient stem and stem nut should be combined appropriately.

연직 매트로 보강된 연약지반의 지지력 특성 (Characteristics of Bearing Capacity of Soft Ground Reinforced by Vertical Mat)

  • 일반적으로 심층혼합공법에 의한 점토지반의 개량효과는 물리적 개량효과에 비해서 훨씬 크며 조기에 큰 개량 강도를 얻을 수 있으나, 국내 시공실적이 부족하고 시멘트-점토의 혼합방법에 따른 품질관리에 문제점이 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 시멘트, 모래, 점토의 배합비에 따른 강도특성과 연직MAT의 형태에 따른 연약지반의 개량특성을 파악하기 위해 해성점토를 이용하여 일축압축 강도시험과 모형토조시험을 수행하였다. 일축압축강도 시험을 위한 공시체는 시멘트와 물의 중량비를 기준으로하여 모래를 일정 비율로 혼합하였고, 시멘트는 점토중량대비 각각 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%를 혼합하였고 대상지반토의 함수비는 40%, 60%, 80%로 조정하여 제작하였다. 공시체는 습윤방법을 이용하여 7일, 14일, 28일간 양생하여 양생기간에 따른 일축압축강도시험을 수행하였다. 지지력시험은 모형토조를 제작하고 Mat식으로 개량한 지반을 형성한 다음 개량률에 따른 지지력을 비교하고 연직MAT 장벽 상호간의 간섭효과를 분석하였다.

Improvement of the Automobile Control Software Testing Process Using a Test Maturity Model

  • The problem surrounding methods of implementing the software testing process has come under the spotlight in recent times. However, as compliance with the software testing process does not necessarily bring with it immediate economic benefits, IT companies need to pursue more aggressive efforts to improve the process, and the software industry needs to makes every effort to improve the software testing process by evaluating the Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi). Furthermore, as the software test process is only at the initial level, high-quality software cannot be guaranteed. This paper applies TMMi model to Automobile control software testing process, including test policy and strategy, test planning, test monitoring and control, test design and execution, and test environment goal. The results suggest improvement of the automobile control software testing process based on Test maturity model. As a result, this study suggest IT organization's test process improve method.

보호자역할증진 프로그램이 입원아동 보호자의 불확실성, 스트레스 및 돌보기 수행에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Caregiver's Role Improvement Program on the Uncertainty, Stress, and Role Performance of Caregivers with Hospitalized Children)

  • Purpose: In this study a caregiver's role improvement program was developed and tested to identify the effect on uncertainty, stress, and role performance of caregivers with hospitalized children. Methods: The design of this study was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group and a non-synchronized design. Thirty-three caregivers were assigned to the experimental group and 33 to the control group. Data were collected from March 5 2016 to April 10 2016. For the experimental treatment, each individual was given on-site education with situated learning (given 30 minutes each, for 2 sessions), and self-repetition learning activities were performed from the e-book. Data were analyzed using t-test, ${\chi}^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Results: The level of uncertainty and stress decreased, and role performance level improved for these caregivers with hospitalized children. Conclusion: The findings of this study show that using on-site education through situated learning and self-repetition learning with an e-book as in the caregiver's role improvement program is an effective intervention. Therefore, utilizing the caregiver role improvement program developed in this study is recommended as an effective intervention for caregivers of hospitalized children.

  • 소프트웨어 테스트는 소프트웨어 개발 과정에 매우 중요한 요소이다. 현재 많은 조직들이 테스트 성숙도를 높이기 위한 노력을 진행하고 있다. 그 중에서 일리노이공대의 TMM(Test Maturity Model)이 대표적이라고 볼 수 있다. 하지만 TMM은 바로 테스트 성숙수준을 측정하는데 문제가 있다. 그래서 TMM과 테스트 프로세스를 향상시킬 수 있는 TPI(Test Process Improvement) 모델을 통해, 우리는 Enhanced-TMM에 테스트 속성과 성숙도 상호관련 매트릭스를 사용한 테스트 성숙수준 측정 방법을 구체적으로 제안하고자 한다.

  • This paper described improvement and operation of a 'Tail-Fan' anti-torque performance test system KARI (Korea Aerospace Research Institute) developed a 'Tail-Fan' anti-torque system of a helicopter and a performance test-rig to test the performance of the Tail-Fan. The test-rig was improved for full rotating test in 4300rpm(100%). Machinery and hydraulic parts ware changed to reduce vibration and to increase safety. To find the operation rotating speed for the performance test, vibration test were carried out rising accelerometers on tail gear box. The performance test conditions of the Tail-Fan to avoid a resonance were found from vibration test results. The Tail-Fan operation tests were performed safely frier to carry out performance test.
