비선형 분포의 열응력이 작용하는 Fuel Rod에서 설계 응력값의 적합성여부에 대한 이론적 해석 (A Theoretical Analysis of the Acceptability of Design Stress Value for the Fuel Rod with Nonlinear Thermal Stresses)

  • 본 논문은 방사능조사의 조건하에서의 설계조건을 만족해야 하는 fuel rod의 설계응력값을 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 경우에, 안전성에 있어서 열에 의한 영향이 가장 주된 고려조건이 된다. 그러나 이러한 열영향이 고려된 해석은 구조물의 안전성해석에서 비교적 간단히 해결되는 문제가 아니다. 여기서는 이론적 해석을 통한 접근방식으로 보수적인 관점에서 fuel rod의 설계에 적용되는 설계 응력값을 검증하고자 하였다. 추후에 시도하는 fuel rod의 설계에 있어서 본 해석방법을 이용하면 안전설계의 검증을 위한 이론적 접근방법의 하나로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

단분절 척추경 나사못의 피로수명과 Pre-Load의 영향 (The effect of pre-load and fatigue life for one-level pedicle screw system)

  • The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of pre-load and fatigue life of the distracted one-level pedicle screw system. A spring, which acted as a substitute of the ligament, was installed in the one-level pedicle screw system before testing. The static and fatigue properties are now being tested, which includes 6mm rod to 6mm screw, 6mm rod to 6.5mm screw and 6.35mm rod to 6.5mm screw, under pre-load. Until now as test data were analyzed, 6mm rod to 6.5mm screw was found to have the best performances of stillness and fatigue lift, while 6mm rod to 6mm screw showed the shortest fatigue life. If the stiffness of screw was bigger than that of rod. the fatigue life was prolonged. The fatigue life of the distracted pedicle screw was proved to be shorter than that of the one-level pedicle screw system. So the fatigue life was shortened because of the effect of the spring on the flexibility and stiffness of the rod. In order to obtain the stability of the pedicle screw, more tests are under doing on this topic.

접지시스템의 설계를 위한 대지저항률의 합리적인 측정방법 고찰 (Examinations on the Reasonable Measuring Methods of the Soil Resistivity for Design of Grounding System)

  • In order to design effectively the grounding system, it is very important to determine the optimum soil resistivity at the desired location of the connection to earth. This paper deals with the reasonable methods of measuring the soil resistivity where grounding electrodes are buried. The soil resistivity at three test sites with different resistivity of soil were measured as functions of the spacing between the test probes in the Wenner's four-point method and the length of test ground rod in the three-point method. In the case of the three-point method, the length of test ground rod of 2-10[m] in length was appropriate in two-layered soil structure. In the length range of 2-10[m], the results measured by the three-point method using the test ground rod with the length corresponding to the spacing between the test probes of the Wenner's four-point method are in good agreement with the data obtained from the Wenner's four-point method.

The Experiment of Flow Induced Vibration in PWR RCCAs

  • Recently, severe wear on the shutdown rod cladding of Ulchin Nuclear Power Plant #1, #2 were observed by the Eddy Current Test(E.C.T.). In particular, the wear at the sixth card location was up to 75%. The test results indicated that the Flow Induced Vibration(F.I.V.) might be the cause of the fretting wear resulting from the contact between Rod Cluster Control Assemblies(RCCAs) and their spacing cards(guide plates) arranged in the guide tube. From reviewing RCCAs fretting wear repots and analyzing the general characteristics of F.I.V. mechanism in the reactor, geometric layout and flow conditions around the control rod, it is concluded that the turbulence excitation is the most probable vibration mechanism of RCCA. To identify the governing mechanism of RCCA vibration, an experiment was performed for a representative rod position in which the most serious fretting wear experienced among the six rod positions. The experimental rig was designed and set up to satisfy the governing nondimensional numbers which are Reynolds number and mass damping parameter. The vibration amplitude measurement by the non-contact laser displacement sensor showed good agreements in the frequency and the maximum wearing(vibration) location with Ulchin E.C.T. results and Framatome report, respectively. The sudden increase in the vibration amplitude was sensed around the 6th guide plate with mass flow rate variation. Comparing the similitude rod behaviour with the idealized response of a cylinder in flow induced vibration, it was found that he dominant mechanism of vibration was transferred from turbulence excitation to periodic shedding at the mass flow ate 90ι/min. Also the critical velocity of the vibration in RCCAs was determined and the vibration can be prevented by reducing the bypass flow rate below the critical velocity.

검사 방법에 따른 원·근거리 수평사위의 분석 (Analysis of far & near distance of lateral phoria by various testing methods)

  • 본 연구는 15세 이상 35세 이하의 남녀 420명, 840안을 대상으로 자각적 굴절검사를 실시하여 원거리 완전 교정된 상태에서 프리즘 분리법, 마독스 로드 검사법, 하웰 사위카드를 이용하여 각각의 원거리 수평사위, 근거리 수평사위를 측정한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 프리즘 분리법 (원거리)에서는 정위 23명 (6%), 외사위 262명 (62%), 내사위 135명 (32%) 2. 프리즘 분리법 (근거리)에서는 정위 9명 (2%), 외사위 310명 (74%), 내사위 101명 (24%) 3. 마독스 로드법 (원거리)에서는 정위 18명 (4%), 외사위 246명 (59%), 내사위 156명 (37%) 4. 마독스 로드법 (근거리)에서는 정위 13명 (3%), 외사위 280명 (67%), 내사위 127명 (30%) 5. 하웰 사위카드 (원거리)에서는 정위 33명 (8%), 외사위 253명 (60%), 내사위 134명 (32%) 6. 하웰 사위카드 (근거리)에서는 정위 18명 (4%), 외사위 290명 (69%), 내사위 112명 (27%).

결합부 강화구조용 탄소복합재 자동차 부품 개발 (Development of the CFRP Automobile Parts Using the Joint Structure of the Dissimilar Material)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 스틸재 타이로드를 브레이딩 공법을 적용한 탄소복합재로 개발하고자 하였다. 탄소복합재 타이로드는 기존 제품과 동등한 성능을 만족시키기 위하여 브레이딩 직조에 필요한 코어 단면설계, 코어와 탄소섬유의 접합부에 대한 구조형상설계를 진행하였다. 그리고 브레이딩 공법을 적용한 시편을 제작하여 시험평가를 통해 구조해석에 적용하였다. 제작 공정은 브레이딩 직조 후 인퓨전 공정을 거쳐 후경화 공정까지 진행하였으며 최종 제품에 대한 시험평가는 인장 시험, 비틀림 시험, 압축 시험과 피로시험을 순차적으로 진행하여 모두 만족시켰다. 또한 탄소복합재 타이로드의 중량을 기존 제품 대비 약 37% 정도 경량화시킬 수 있었다.

JRTR 제어봉구동장치의 내진시험 (Seismic Test of the Control Rod Drive Mechanism for JRTR)

  • A control rod drive mechanism(CRDM) is a reactor regulating system, which inserts, withdraws or maintains a control rod within a reactor core to control the reactivity of the core. The CRDM for Jordan Research and Training Reactor with 5MW power has been designed and fabricated based on the HANARO’s experience through KAERI and DAEWOO consortium. This paper describes the seismic test results to demonstrate the operability, the drop performance and the structural integrity of CRDM during or after seismic excitations. The seismic tests are carried out under 5 OBE and 1 SSE loads at three Test Rigs simulating the reactor structure and the pool top. From the tests, the CRDM is smoothly driven without a malfunction of stepping motor under OBE load. The pure drop time under OBE and SSE loads is measured as 1.169s and 1.855s to meet the design requirement. Also, it is found that the CRDM maintains the structural integrity without a change of the function and natural frequency before and after seismic loads.

  • To reduce lateral force of traditional plunger type piston in the swash plate type hydraulic piston pumps and motors, we have proposed rod type piston with ball joint on both ends. We have studied the theoretical reaction force on two types of piston moving in the cylinder block bore. and made an experiment for the resistance force measurement on a reciprocating motion of plunger and rod type piston, changing the test condition such as swash plate angel and supply oil pressure and so on. As a result. a rod type piston has more smaller resistance force, about 29%. than a plunger type one.

  • This paper presents parametric study of long-rod penetration. Influences of yield stress of penetrator and target material on the penetration results such as crater size and penetrator residual length are contemplated. Numerical experiments are carried out with varying the value of static yield stress of materials. Lagrangian explicit code NET2D was used to perform parametric study. Element eroding algorithm was used to properly simulate long-rod penetration. Analytic and empirical model of long-rod penetration and Taylor test are used to explain the relationships of parameter and simulation results.

  • The accidnet of breaking insulator rod leads to inturruption of moving the subway. We investigate the analysis of analysis of breaking accident of FRP insulator rod installed in dead section for catenary feeding system. To analysis of accident reason, SEM is used to analysis microscopic struture on surface of cross section of broken FRP insulator rod. At the same time, we examine the chage of atomic amount on solace of accident insulator through EDX analysis. Also, the test for tensional breaking load is condoled to check the mechanical strength.
